Amazing grill. Just got one. Considered the Prestige Pro 500, 665 and Blaze LTE. Natural gas. Napoleon was a no-brainer, but the 665 was larger than we needed. Would’ve been necessary, wasted space.

i think that it's meant to have cast iron charcoal briquettes in the tray. the gas burners super heat the cast blocks and it acts like normal coal burning.

Ghee is clarified butter that is taken just a step further by allowing the separated milk solids to brown a bit before you stop the process.... It's delicious.

Did the smoker box wood get hot enough?? Great cut of meat and if you have time etc. I got the PRO to use the sizzle zone to do this.

It did fine! I have the PRO here also but I didn't use the sizzle zone on this cook.

Not sure I understand why would someone spend all that $$$ on this grill to use it with charcoal and all that added cleanup involved when using it with these grills? If coal cooking is what you want there are far cheaper alternatives and easier cleanup.
That being said these Prestige Pro grills are among the best on the market.

How long did you let it cook on the right side?

Why buy a top gas grill to cook with charcoal? You ignored the sizzle zone... talk about wasted money

First I agreed with you, then I remember my agony before buying my gasgrill, Napoleon of course, some years ago. I am perfectly happy with my grill but still I miss that intense charcoal flavour that my smoker tubes can't give.
I am pretty sure this guy uses his Napoleon in the more conventional style as way.
      Thanks for the video.
Btw, you nailed it without a temp and only with timer.

It's probably not a bull. It's a cow. So it's a bad girl. Everyone wants to call their steak a bad boy. It almost definitely isn't. They probably end up as veal.
