What admiration Clay has for the BBQ community! He spends all that time cooking at Snow’s but then showcases the beef ribs at another restaurant. What a life you get to enjoy Ant! Thanks for telling their story!
Clay wasn't joking about the magic of Louie Mueller's beef ribs. My first bite 10 years ago started me on a bbq journey that has literally changed my life.
My wife surprised me with a private "tour" and visit to Snow's for my 50th birthday. Unbelievable place and story. Ms. Tootsie and Kerry could not have been more welcoming and friendly. The place, pits and story all awesome. Food was amazing as expected. My biggest regret was I was so surprised and excited I did not get any pictures of my birthday visit. Loved the Netflix story of Tootsie too. We need more of this type of attitude in our country. Hearing Miss Tootsie say she won't live forever made me tear up. Magic place.
Nothing better than a Friday night on Snow’s porch making friends from all over the world, then being first in line to get the best bbq in Texas! Kerry, Clay and Tootsie, “Smoking the Good Stuff “ in Lexington, TX
Ant, I have to tell you that along the way, your story telling and cinematography has gotten better and better with each video. You have a wonderful talent and I'm looking forward to watching many, many more videos!
What an honor and privilege it was to spend a weekend at the Legendary Snow’s BBQ. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched their Chef’s Table special on Netflix. It’s a surreal feeling filming with Kerry, Clay, and Ms. Tootsie after watching them at home over the years. The Snow’s BBQ experience is like none other, if you haven’t been, I highly recommend it. It’s a place where BBQ memories are made. A big thank you to Kerry, Clay, Ms. Tootsie, Colby, Larissa and all of the Snow’s BBQ team for opening your doors with incredible hospitality and allowing me to share your incredible story with the world! I will be traveling this next week to Dallas, but during my travels and when I get back I will be pouring into editing the next episode of BBQ Story at Texas Monthly’s #1 BBQ Joint in North Carolina, Prime BBQ. So make sure to subscribe so you don’t miss that episode when it drops! Take care y’all 🤠
Went to snows for the first time couple years ago. Got a winning ticket my sons # got called won some seasonings and sauce. My 10 year old son was wondering around the pit area he waved me down to come over, once I made it to him I seen him mopping the pork ribs with a huge ear to ear smile, Clay was teaching him. That was worth every mile I drove up to snows. After that we eat the best bbq that we personally have ever had. I agree with the pork chops man those were delicious that chicken too soft tender the pork ribs also so tender everything was amazing. Got some pics with Kerry, Tootsie and Clay. Best bbq experience for us thanks to all the SNOWS team for an awesome experience. Will and planning to go visit soon!
Seasoning is only salt and pepper but the addition of the wood smoke infuses something special. I think the best part of this video is the folks already sitting outside on the lawn chairs at 3am
I remember watching the 1st BBQ story for Heritage and you've mastered the format now. The production rivals anything Netflix could churn out. Thanks for bringing these stories to us and keep em coming!
i hope we look back on this video in a year and say the same thing we can say about heritage today haha thanks so much for the kind words! theres so much room to grow from an equipment, videography, editing and story comp standpoint and I am able to improve each upload with the support of all of you watching and sharing these videos!
Great video, I about spit out my dinner when my wife came on screen at the 24 minute mark. We came in from Eatonville Washington to celebrate my birthday with about 10 of our friends. Hands down the best BBQ experience of the entire trip. ❤
Dude these videos bring tears to my eyes! Been loving the 48hour @ videos! I dont cook bbq for money but my heart wants to! Maybe someday. These videos will be treasures in the future of a time a guy like me just had a dream! These videos are truly amazing! Thank you!
I grew up about an hour from Lexington and when I was in high school my dad would ride out to Snow's on his motorcycle once a month or so and bring us brisket for breakfast. It's been like 15 years and it's still the best brisket I've ever had
Dude. I have been watching you keep getting better for the last few years. Your channel is criminally undersubscribed and underappreciated. Keep going, keep up the quality and it’ll keep on the right way.
I was lucky enough to make it out to Snows a few years back when Miss Tootsie was still doing the all nighter! Was an amazing experience and the best BBQ I've every had! Also got to talk to her a bit and get a picture!
I got there on a Friday afternoon at 4:30 and our crew was first in line for Saturday morning! Clay is the man he talked with us for at least 30 minutes! Best in TEXAS. Definitely need to put it on your bucket list.
got there at 8pm, ghost town nothing just tumbleweed through the empty street. thought maybe I was in the wrong town or the wrong day or something. parked right across the street and went to sleep in my car thinking no rush to be first in line. woke to the sound of a crowd at 4am looked out my car and kicked myself to the back of the line around the block ;). the only of the top 10 bbq in Texas I ended up not first in line at.
Hello all. My name is Nathan. Born and raised in Phoenix going on 34 years now. My dream is to have exactly this type of BBQ experience to share with all over the world. This is wholesome and loving. I fell in love with cooking at a young age, thanks to my great grandparents “God rest them” I wish they could be here to see how much passion I have for this and how thankful I am for the love and knowledge passed down.
I'm wearing my "Smokin' the good stuff" tshirt today. Had no idea I'd be seeing Mrs Tootsie being twinkies with me! Ant, your bbq videos are almost as good as the bbq your expose to the world. Keep it up, bbq brother!
I love these videos you share, that not only show great bbq being produced, but the history and the generations that kept it going! I love bbq, but this takes it to another level for me! I appreciate you Ant and thank you again for the great content! 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Great to see ms tootsie still alive n kicking. Tbh she reminds me of my granny who has worked hard her whole life and has been the cook of the family, she got me into cooking and now i pride myself in my skills in the kitchen
This has to be the best Snow's BBQ doc I've ever seen. You've grown Ant, from the questions being asked to the way it's being filmed.. Hoping your channel grows and that you take us on more BBQ adventures in 2025. Thank you for the vid
Mad props. This is a very high quality documentary, you've come such a long way from your first videos. What's the relevance of TV and streaming services when there's content creators out there like you?
This was a fantastic episode!!! The quality of your filming and editing is truly amazing! I hope you keep making them, because I’ll keep watching them.
Just found your channel about a month or so ago maybe more. I never knew I can be so brought into the world of barbecue through a video. Having grown up in central Texas yeah I got to eat at some of the more well known places in my time yes I was one of the people who stood in line there at snows after the 2008 article in Texas monthly. I just always took it like oh yeah it’s typical barbecue and now in the past month or so watching these videos, I would never thought it would be like this and your videos are very awesome and very well produced congratulations on such a Presentation and your work. 👍
I went to Snow's, Muellers, and all the Lockhart joints in one summer trip. Wonderfull memories especially of Snow's because we got hit by a tremendous thunder and lighting storm. The wind was blowing, lightening was striking, children were screaming and crying, but everybody stayed in line for their BBQ!!!
Hey Ant! Just wanted to message and say these videos are amazing. You do such a good job of capturing the passion of these pitmasters. I have watched every single one of your BBQ stories at least twice 😂 I love when they come out. Great job man, big props from Australia!
This is Lewis with Trane. Glad to see you posting videos again. Watched the last one too. My goodness, you right. Time slips away. My daughter is 11 now. Take care friend.
Ant, Amazing job! It was not stated, but I heard in an interview that the reason they use that electric knife, which no one else uses, is because Kerry doesn’t wanted to make it easier for that older woman. Three questions: 1. How, especially using direct heat, can one cook chicken for 6 hours? 2. How do they rest their briskets as a restaurant with no warmers? They obviously don’t serve them right from the smoker. 3. Is the pink hat retired?😂 Keep up the great work!👍
They use electric knife because that's the way it was done for years in Texas. Slice 30 briskets and i promise you'll be looking for that electric knife......
It’s amazing how you can find so many like minded, humble people to work with that I feel a connection to without ever meeting them. Folks that you know that you could get along with. I see you lost a bet and had to wear a green beanie. Who was Mr. Carghill? My condolences.
I've known Tootsie many years. Even at one point she was Aunt Tootsie. I've eaten at Snow's without having to wait in line. I never overdid that out of respect. The free pintos are a great idea. IYKYK! Tootsie was cutting meat and smoking meat many years before Snow's opened.
Great story telling , great shots all in all great job on this video. Loved all videos you have made. I hope this isn’t your last and I hope traction hasn’t made you feel you ain’t it but you are forusre doing it !!
what a beautiful video with so many hard working God loving folks. I wish I could be in their community. Hard work, love, serving others, and smiles for miles
This is by far, 1 of the most incredible videos, for humanity that I have seen in many years. Wow! Go Barbeque, bringing everyone back together.
Wow that is high praise! Thank you for the kind words 🙏
I agree !
Yes, you are so right. I didn't realise I'm so emotional about BBQ people.
My first bite 10 years ago started me on a bbq journey that has literally changed my life.
well said

it's a one of a kind experience!
06:34 "People will start lining up on Saturday mornings as early as Friday evening" 😂😂😂 "Snowman" with a monster flex!!!
Ant, I have to tell you that along the way, your story telling and cinematography has gotten better and better with each video. You have a wonderful talent and I'm looking forward to watching many, many more videos!
thank you so much! i have so much more to learn and grow, can't wait to keep producing and improving :)
@@AntsBBQCookout Miss Tootsie looks like a real treat to be around, what a great outlook on life from her and the entire crew!
Miss Tootsie is 89 years old. The work ethic of that woman is crazy.

Thanks for what your doing it's awesome.
This was incredible. Really well done. The people. The food. The quality of the footage. Well done.
The sequence of Clay describing that 2am-3am grind, how he has no time to feel how tired he is, that was very Chef's Table-esque. You nailed this one!
Prime BBQ is good. Stop by Redneck BBQ lab in Benson (also called The BBQ Lab) when you are in the area.
This was beautifully filmed and put together. Well done sir.

that's such a cool and wholesome experience for your son, and he's old enough to remember it forever. awesome!
Seasoning is only salt and pepper but the addition of the wood smoke infuses something special.
I think the best part of this video is the folks already sitting outside on the lawn chairs at 3am
Thank you for doing this. I learned Snows is more than BBQ, they are a family with a vision and a purpose.
I remember watching the 1st BBQ story for Heritage and you've mastered the format now. The production rivals anything Netflix could churn out. Thanks for bringing these stories to us and keep em coming!

thanks for watching!

Had the honor of heading over to Snow's from Austin back in 2010 and got to hang out with Tootsie for an hour or so. Such an amazing person!
Dude these videos bring tears to my eyes! Been loving the 48hour @ videos! I dont cook bbq for money but my heart wants to! Maybe someday. These videos will be treasures in the future of a time a guy like me just had a dream! These videos are truly amazing! Thank you!
Best SNOW's video since Netflix. It's such a great experience going there, I'm glad I crossed that off my bucket list.
Never thought I would get emotional to the point of tears by watching a BBQ video, but here I am.
That magical foil! 🪄 Wish I could have gone to Snow’s with you. Great job Ant!
Me too bro, would have been a great memory
I grew up about an hour from Lexington and when I was in high school my dad would ride out to Snow's on his motorcycle once a month or so and bring us brisket for breakfast. It's been like 15 years and it's still the best brisket I've ever had
That’s an awesome bbq memory, man. Thank you for sharing
Dude. I have been watching you keep getting better for the last few years. Your channel is criminally undersubscribed and underappreciated.

I knew the food would be excellent, but even more so this was a beautiful story of the wonderful people at Snow's. I admire them greatly!
The cinematography in these videos is insane. It feels like I'm watching a BBQ documentary on Netflix. Your editing skills are god tier man.
