I quit the hormone injected dairy concoction decades ago and never looked back. My body changed, my hormones got better. I love vegan milk and yogurt...HIGH QUALITY AND NO CRUELTY

Great video! …I never have to cook my cashew yogurt though, it goes right from the blender to the dehydrator and it’s as thick as Greek yogurt once done. Love your videos 🤗

Looks delicious! Would you happen to know as a sub for adding coconut yogurt, how much probiotic capsules would be used? Thank you

Hi ! Looks delicious and thick , a bit like a Greek yogurt . Cashews are wonderful , but , here in France, organic raw cashews from a big chain supermarket costs 17.55€ per kilo , so , 500 grms , as in your recipe, would already cost a little over 8€ . I'm not sure how much your recipe makes as a total , but , I think it would still work out quite expensive . Thanks for this recipe which looks gorgeous but I think I may go for a cheaper base (though perhaps less delicious)

You can use oats and mix just a little bit of cashew

Instead of cashew, look for a recipe with chickpeas. Chickpea might be cheaper than cashew.

@user-uz8sn1qv8y I've bought almond yoghurt before in the shops :) so it can totally work. I'm not sure about the other nuts but it would be fun to try.

Hi! When you use coconut yogurt as a starter, does it add flavor of coconut in the final product? Can you use the cashew yogurt you made as a starter for the next batch? Have a nice day!

Because I'm so tired of the disgusting taste, runny consistency and full of many chemicals, sweeteners, dyes that vegan store-bought yogurt has, i made this cashew yogurt. It was amazing. Worth the expence just to have a product that is enjoyable and homemade.

Hello Angela! I honestly agree with what you have said and it's truly what has driven to create this recipes. I don't tolerate low quality ingredients either. Unfortunately many vegan items are filled with these. Thanks for your awesome comment and I'm so happy you enjoyed this yogurt! ❤️❤️❤️

yes, I use probiotic capsules (1 or 2 depending on the culture count), and for the next batches I use leftover yogurt

Home girl whips out “put it in the dehydrator “ at 6:20 seconds mark like we all just got one. Smh

Then she saves the day a couple minutes later. Right on.

She also said you can put it in a cold oven with the oven light on. You omit that part.
FYI, the instant pot has a yoghurt function too.
You basically just need a warm area for the bacteria to ferment.

Be careful with using metal on metal (whisk in the metal pan), because you’re scratching off tiny toxic metal particles into your food.

Isn’t that only a concern if you’re using a pan with a nonstick coating? Hers seems like stainless steel.
