I was a volunteer firefighter in Ohio and I had to install a siren on my vehicle, I asked my chief if I could get the Ecto1 siren. Sadly he said no even though he agreed it would be cool lol.
I like the fact that they kept the Ghostbusters 2 logo in the interior of the fire house hung in the wall it’s a nice detail to show the fire house’s history and it’s importance to the ghostbusters franchise
For me, the most interesting thing isn't the Firehouse, it's finally seeing more of the neighborhood it's based in, something the movies and the cartoon didn't really show.
And the sign hanging inside is the one that was used in the second movie. They used to have it hung outside, but given it's a movie prop (and thus not built to last) they brought it inside to preserve it.
I know for certain at least some of their trucks had the logo back in the early 90's. This was back when they still had the sign hung on the outside of the firehouse.
Seeing this makes me think of the brave firefighters on 9/11 who went to rescue the victims of the terrorist attack at the World Trade Center and those who died when they were trapped when the towers collapsed.
Depends on what is needed. If they are actually fighting a fire, sure. If they are only doing vertical rescue then they might just send a ladder and rescue company. No need for an engine then as they're not pumping water.

They actually put it out front for display sometimes, mainly around october for Halloween
