The first gen was a different vehicle. The 2nd gen they took over the European Ford Mondeo. To make it even more confusing the Ford Contour was also the Mondeo in Europe and originated there and not at Ford US.
I don’t think it is related to Mazda. It’s built on a Ford platform and was part of Europe Ford family where it is the Ford Mondeo and existed in different variants. I may be wrong but this is what I always thought. Merry Christmas.
I still have My wife's first car 1997 Mazda Protégé LX and when ever I need a part. The ford dealer has it with no problem. Just keep up the maintenance on you're fusion. And it will last a long time.
Town Cars are good. But these aren't crap. They cost the same as most decent Town Cars, but handles better, are as comfortable, way better on gas, just as reliable, and over all much better value than a Town Car.
The Fusion is a nice looking car and the hybrid makes it a very smart choice. Great upgrade 👍

Happy Monday
You too
I really like the looks of this generation Ford Fusion! Very sporty looking with a level of class that goes with it. Very well put together I think.
I’m actually buying one next Friday lol

Merry Christmas! Wikipedia says it's related to like 10 different models - including Mazda6 😀
@@VitaliyKofman Yes the gen 1 but not the gen 2 which is an unrelated car. Confusing what Ford did and thought.
I like that it doesn’t have all touch capacitive buttons on the center screen
Me too. HVAC system should always be separate from the screen or duplicated

Thanks! Hope that will be the case :)
It looks 30 years newer than your Town Car 🤔😁
Lol! 🤣
Have fun replacing that battery in a few years
If you are talking about the main battery - it will be cheaper to replace the car 😀
8 years or 100k miles warranty so have it checked.
It's sad to change Town Car for this piece of crap but live is live and sometimes You just have to do things like that 😢
It's no Town Car 😕
