unwound steel guitar or piano wire is also a really good material. It obviously can be permanently bent out of shape, but it very resilient. Only downside is that it can be really sharp if you don't file down the ends
My method is a bit more of a pain in the ass, but it works. Take bass guitar wire, snip to length. Super glue it partially into a short length of styrene tubing, and drill out the bottom for a small 1x1mm magnet. Counter sink the matching magnet into the model (or if the area is too thin, drill another piece of tube and glue the small assembly, then glue it to the model). They can get knocked off with no issues and just dropped back on. Makes it much easier to fit them into a case.
That’s a good alternative for a more realistic look though, definitely a good method. I like to try to keep things here as user friendly as I can. Thanks for watching 👍

Yes that’s definitely a good alternative. I think this method is a little more user/beginner friendly though. Thanks for watching, really appreciated

Do you have a similar hack for indestructible backpack banners? (like on a space marine sargent)
I don’t currently but if I think of something I’ll let you know 👍
will those work with plastic cement or do you need to use superglue
To be honest I’m not sure. It would be worth testing it though. Thanks for watching
probably superglue, since those bristles are usually nylon which doesn't melt in plastic glue
@@stevenshea990good to know! Thanks
