Hi Lisa…your videos have been super helpful since I have started with my jewellery making business. I’m using loctite gel based super glue as well as suggested in this video and I’m also giving it 24 hours of cure (not touching them) to be on safer side but lately I have seen some of the components still coming off. I’m not yet into resin, wondering what could be the reason.
Tell us please where do you buy your gold plated hooks!✨ You should open an etsy shop for all of the supplies needed to make jewelry. Really love your designs.
I use the gorilla super gel glue! It's so strong! Also it helps if you use a backing with a larger surface area for a strong seal. I use 8mm and 6mm backs depending on the size of the stud :) thanks for the video
You're so kind to share all these things and helping us learn get better 🥺 a BIG THANK YOU! I hope you grow and succeed 10 times as much as you're helping us grow ❤️
Thank you for this video! I have been struggling to find a good way to adhere my posts to the earrings that I’ve been making. I’m glad I found your channel I can’t wait to learn helpful tips and tricks from your videos.
i just started trying my hand out at using polymer clay and your RUclips channel is my go to for every single question I’ve had so far! So helpful and you’re so adorable too!
So helpful! Just ventured into polymer clay jewelry and made some hoops and s-curve type earrings with beads, but definitely want to try studs. Thank you!
Another thing to consider that you might not know about epoxy resin, is that some brands recommend you don't mix less than 2 oz because it will not cure properly so another reason why it's not the best for jewelry making. The only reason I know this is because I do resin art and make clay jewelry
Omg you are back!! Girly, you have inspired me to start making clay earrings, so thank you!! One request, please make a video on how to mix clay for custom colors. Ya girl is struggling!! Any who, can’t wait for more videos!! ✨💓
This video was so helpful. I personally like using glue to attach the earring post then I cover it with some polymer clay and bake it to give it a clean look.
Welcome back and enjoyed the tips. So far I've only used the liquid polymer clay with a thin layer of regular clay, but my blending technique is not that great at the moment.
Wow! What an exceptional tutorial video ! Thank you so much for sharing your experience and expertise. Very clear instructions and also video angles were awesome !!
Thanks for such a thoroughly informative video. This will greatly help on my next project. On a side note....what kind of plant is behind you ? It's incredible ❣
Thank you. I'm learning so much. It's like a secret on little steps. Through trial and error I finally get it but I make a lot of mistakes. Mistakes add up.
I have used Sculpey bake and bond to adhere them and I'm having some pieces where they are coming apart after I have baked them. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks for your advice.
❤️Hello again!!... Thanks for posting this. I was actually wondering about this subject the other day. So this video help Soo much. Also, can I give you an advice?. *For future videos let people know with a disclaimer about the dangers of using Resin. A lot of people are beginners and don't know about it until they get a bad reaction from fumes like me. Those fumes are lethal, please use proper ppe, mask, gloves and I beg you don't use it in your house. Resin was a passion of mine until it nearly killed me. 🙏🏾💞Many blessings sent your way.
hi beautiful, happy that your back! your videos have taught me so much, ive missed you. i was wondering if you’ve made a video about this or answered it anywhere else but how do you properly put on a french hook? i’m having trouble with the earring looking almost as if it was backwards. also, i know you said in a previous videos you like to get your findings from other small businesses on etsy, would you mind sharing which ones your recommend? ✨
Thank you so much! Your videos have helped me tremendously! Could you post a video on the best polymer clay pasta machine to get that isn’t super overpriced? Please??
This is so helpful, thank you! I’m so glad I saw it before I began selling, my biggest fear is having a post snap off lol. Can I ask, what camera do you use to film?
Ok this is amazing 👏🏼 Thank you so much for being willing to share all of your knowledge about this! You’ve helped me so much with learning more about creating polymer clay earrings! One thing I’m struggling with is finding earring posts that are hypoallergenic. Specifically ball earring posts and French hooks that are the right shape! If you have an recommendations that would be so helpful!!!!!
Thank you! The information you share with the PC community is super valuable. Can you recommend the best companies to purchase earring posts/backings from?
I am making an oval shape twisted earring hooked to a twisted piece. So would you use uv resin to hook the stud onto the top or the gel super glue? I just don't know HELP
Mam I'm your big fan of your work..I had a question mam .I a new for this work . because I'm inspired by you.i want to know which machine you used for sending and polished to resin and how you bake polymer clay ...please reply me please
I’ve just got uv resin to try for the first time. Before I was using glue letting it dry for 24hours then I’d add a layer of liquid clay. Hopefully uv resin will speed up the process, thanks
Hi my name is Janneth, I am subscribed to your channel, love your videos very informative, I have a small business making polymer clay earrings, I have a question I am using scullery premo Clay for my earrings, I do condition the clay before using it, then I passed through the pasta machine, most of the time comes with bubbles, and some distortions, I normally used the better side for the front, I am a bit frustrated because my earrings don’t look as professional as I would like. I would appreciate any advice Thanks Janneth from Australia
Happy to see you back! And right on time! I've been trying to get the hang of earring backings and was just about to give up on it. Thanks for this! So helpful 😊
For the polyclay methods, I see you bake them to cure them. So are you putting the posts on before you bake the whole earring component or are you baking the component, then adhering the post and baking again? Thanks in advance! New subscriber because of this video- SO helpful!
Hello, I'm new to polymer clay things. And I wanna try to put the earring stud cover with the clay. But I wanna know if that's ok to bake the clay right away while the stud stick on the back. I meant isn't it gonna be dangerous to bake with the stud open since it's made of a metal material or u just gonna cover it while on bake?
Hey beautiful Can u help me , please I'm having hard time to find,1lb clay ...l need buy a pound ,where u buy yours? And is Cernite? Or Premo ,bc the souffle is impossible to find here in Missouri. Thanks l love all you do for us.
just wondering how does scratching the back of the earring posts help to adhere better? i’ve seen a few posts mention that but thought it was referring to scratching the back of the polymer clay!

If I’m using Sculpey oven bake clay glue to paste the stud, should I paste it before sanding and shaping or after?
15:28 Can put the earring post in polymer clay before you initially bake it? So you don’t have to add the extra clay, resin or glue.
I am making an oval shape twisted earring hooked to a twisted piece. So would you use uv resin to hook the stud onto the top or the gel super glue? I just don't know HELP
