yes part 2 please! Can you please include what you bake your earrings in whether a toaster oven vs your regular kitchen oven especially because of the fumes. Thank you!
Just found this channel slowly but surely I'm getting the materials for clay earrings! Thank you for sharing this information and I'm glad I know which clay is best for jewelry making now. c:
Excited for you! It is such a fun medium with endless possibilities! I tried to really hard to pick tools that make it possible to start creating jewelry right away
GREAT VIDEO!💕 i have been wanting to make clay jewelry for sooo long but was pretty intimidated because i literally had no source of info/pointers. Im glad to have found ur videos 😃thank you!!!
My favorite tool is a stainless steel pottery rib (the thin flexible ones). It's so handy! I use it to quickly clean my surface. Slice through fresh clay. I also use it when I use silicone or flexible molds. I use it as the surface I unmold on, since it's flexible I find I get less distortion. My favorite storage is a full size elongated toothbrush holder (for blades) My absolute favorite is the 4x6 or 5x7 Iris picture keepers. I have organized all my cutters in them. They also hold my Makin's clay extruder. Most texture sheets (like makin's) or the 5x7 texture folders for paper (that I use for clay) lol. Honestly they are just the handiest little containers. I've started using them for everything. I keep one with my portable phone charger and cords in. lol
I live in Sri Lanka. This video was very important to me. Thank you so much for telling things like this. I am going to do this business anew. So keep making a lot of videos like this. This video is very important for beginners like us. Please include the rest of the tools and make a video. Plz plz plz🙏🏻❤️I want to be like you. I love you so much. God bless you . I wish you all the best.🙏🏻❤️💯
I want to start my business so bad but Im trying to do as much research as possible lol & I am trying to save up some money to buy the things i need but cant wait!!!!!!
Hi, I have a quick question. What you do clean your acrylic roller with? I have a problem with taking out the residue on mine. Thank you! I also enjoyed this video! Also I am happy you are back on youtube!!
Hi! Thank you for all your tips! You’ve helped me start my business and I’m so grateful you share your talent. I just bought the Dremel Stylo as suggested. I don’t see where it included the drill built to drill the holes for the jump rings, do you know which drill bit you use? Like what size?
I already have all of the items so seeing this video was confirmation that I am on the right track! Thank you! Is the roller that you have easy to clean the clay build up on?
Hello, I absolutely love your work! Quick question though, I was looking around and can't seem to find the same drill bit you use to puncture your holes. Could you link it please? Thanks much! Xo
Hi! So I purchased the dremel stylo for drilling holes and polishing but it didn't come with the bit set for drilling holes.. Do you know if Amazon sells these separately now or where I could get them because I cant seem find them on Amazon.
great information thanks so much it was helpful, i'm new to polymer clay and thinking to start my business and I'm curious , after baking it the texture of the clay is it feels rocky or rubber like ? how it must be? you're amazing girl 👍🏻💙
Definitely found this video helpful thank you soooo very much ! Where else do you get your clay supplies ? Everywhere I’ve searched they’re SOLD OUT !! Lol do you buy in bulk ?
HI! New subscriber here and looking to get into making jewelry for myself :) I realize I need to find a way to keep busy besides baking and eating! LOL. Anyway, question - I already have pasta rollers for my stand mixer, could I just use that if I put the clay, say, between sheets of parchment (I wouldn't want to get the clay directly on my rollers which I use to for making fresh pasta).
Thank you so much for the list! Very helpful! (Sigh) Can't find the Sculpey Thinner and Clay Softener anywhere! Not even the Sculpey website has it! 😭 (Out of Stock? Really?!)
I'm having problems with my pieces breaking when I put jump rings in. Do you have tips for this part? Could mt clay be too thin? Hole too far from the edge? Wrong size ring? Please help
My question is thickness of earrings. I don't want them to break, so what thickness do are your earrings? Last question do you seal your earrings after baking, or is this even a must. Thank You
Hi Thank you for your amazing videos! I'm looking for premo or soufflé clay but it's seems to be very difficult to find at this time. Probably because of covid. Do you have a link to find either on amazon or other? I'm in Canada. Thank you for your help!! :)
What is the fluffy attachment you use to sand the sides of your finished prices? I was thinking of getting a Dremel, but didn't know if those were included in a set.
Yes, those additional items are included when you buy the dremel set either at your local hardware store, crafts store, or amazon. However, the drill bits are not included and need to be purchased separately. Hope this helps 🙂
@@tanyalasagna_ Thanks very much!!! It does!!! I was wondering before I bought it what it included. Just so I don't have to wait for a second package. I really appreciate it!
I've told my mom that I want to start my clay business, and she bought me an "Jovi air dry clay", and I didn't know the difference between air dry clay and polymer clay, is it the same ? What is the best one to work with ?
Hi there - I am fairly new to this but what I have had experience with using is a porcelain tile (left over from building the fireplace) .... place a piece of copy paper cut to the size of the tile on top of the tile, place clay items on paper, place tile with items in a disposable metal pan, cover with a duplicate pan and use binder clips to keep both together. This creates a nice controlled heating space that will not burn or over cook the polymer. Don't worry the clips nor the paper will catch fire or burn either. The copy paper serves to soak up any oily residue ;) Hope this helps!
The wonderful thing about clay is you can also just use your hands and household items! I do believe that is where a true beginner should start. This video it geared more towards people who have experience and want to make the investment to create professional, consistent looking jewelry on a larger scale. 🤍

warm water works great. If the clay is really stuck, acetone is magical!

Is acetone okay to use after applying a shiny finishing coat?

I don't know if its better to be thinner or thicker
Yes please for past 2😁

I just found you! These videos are great! What thickness do you like (in inches/cm/mm) on your clay before you use your cutters?
I love your videos ❤️
In the part 2 can you post what earring hooks, studs to buy? Or where?
Thanks a lot! 🥰

I bought the dremel and found the drill bits but they don’t attach properly. Can you or anyone tell me what sort of adapter I need to use them?

Love this video! Thank you for the helpful tips :) How did you get the clay to have stripes?!
Yes, Part 2 please!!
P.s You are so beautiful.
Where does everyone get the tiles that they work on top of? I’ve been looking everywhere but can only find them in packs of many!
You can purchase single tiles at Home Depot or Lowes.
Hi , please make a video on homemade clay
I would say acetone would be a material rather than a tool??
May I ask what surface do you bake your clay on? I use a cooking sheet with wax paper but the back surface doesn’t seem as smooth
I think I saw in another video she said she uses a ceramic tile to bake more evenly on
I use a pizza stone 🤷🏼♀️
@@tianaporreca6204 thank you
