I didnt realise till this past weekend how much of a difference their is between the Scatpacks and the R/T’s because i beat a Full Bolt-on E85 Tuned 2018 R/T but then lost to a Stock Scat pack 😂 but for how heavy these cars are they can definitely move 🙏🏽
Yeah my brother got a 2014 challenger 392 srt8 and it'll run 186 mph but he doesn't use the red key so he only runs Abt 165 but my mom won't let me ride in it bc she's scared

Yeah I run dead even with the scats, the r/t’s a decent bit behind them.
How do you not include an R/T with the 8 speed auto in this? Would really showcase the difference in acceleration that transmission makes with the 5.7.
The 2018 r/t automatically comes with an 8speed my guy
@@1470boyz Had the same ratios as the 2011-2014 model with the 5 speed and shifted the exact same way. The ZF8 has much shorter ratios and shifts much faster. Not sure what was going on here, but there’s zero chance that that was an 8-speed R/T.
The thing is he ain’t have the 8spd in sport mode either

The 7th gen is a charger pursuit, the police package. I can tell by it saying mph certified. The 5 speed really kills that engine.
@5.7admirer 2020+ pursuits have 8 speeds
while its a charger pursuit, its a 2020+ which has the 8 speed. you can tell by the shift points
now if in fact its pre 2020 please correct me

The 7th gen never came with an 8 speed to begin with what are you even talking about??? The 8 speed was not introduced until the 8th (current) generation. The last video is also broken it has audio from the 8th gen with a picture of an 8th gen. Yet the video itself is a 7th gen facelift.
It's funny, that as these cars got more power, they got heavier and heavier almost negating the increases. I raced my 07 AWDC against a 2012 AWDC not too long ago, 40- ~100 and I was able to slightly pull him. I have a tune, LMI intake, and suitcase delete. I don't know his mods, other than exhaust. Oh, and I was running Diablo's 87 mpg canned tune at the time...with 197k miles on the car...lol.
a 5.7 in a charger should've been a 400hp engine, then when the scat pack was introduced it should've been 500hp even

meh, not too shabby for the hp/weight....about as fast as a g37, 6th gen RS, or a 3.8l genesis coupé stock for stock..of course tho, the top end isn't the best since this is a sub 400 hp v8 but the 8 speed transmission does wonders chopping off a whole 2 seconds from 0-130...these vehicles were better bullies during the 06-11 era's before 2.0t's, and 300+hp v6's start hitting the streets..

Redo the video, you have a 7th Gen Acceleration video but it’s the Police Pursuit Vehicle. Those cars are heavier and have a 5 speed transmission, it’s depowered so the police don’t actually run the dash. I was expecting a regular R/T or at least a Rental R/T from Enterprise or something, but not no Police Car like Damn….😑

@@aaronjohnson2691 I don’t think you get it pontiac In 2008 made all there sedan based vehicles simple for example g3-4-5-6 and then there the 8 and the was originally the grand prix
@@jadenhare4427 Yeah I understand that but the grand prix gxp was fwd while the g8 was rwd. The grand prix is more comparable to an impala while the g8 is comparable to a camaro. It basically would be comparing an imapla with a v8 to a camaro.

This video has fail written all over it. First 2 cars shifted at a higher rpm than the stock shift point. So those were either tuned or using manual mode. 2nd one went higher than the rev limiter I'm pretty sure, which would mean it's been tuned to raise the limiter.
Then the 4th video shows a 15+ charger. That style has the 8spd, unless it's a police package since all of the pursuit ones were only offered with the 5spd for cheaper cost. The "certified" on the lower right means it's a pursuit package.
Then on top of that, the sound doesn't even match on the 15+ video.
The 3rd video shows the correct shift points of the 5.7L
I'm curious to see what the srt8's run from the 6.1l up to the 6.4l

The mustang is much lighter and also had more power. The RT is not a race car it’s a sedan with a V8

5.7s are slowww. Have alot of aftermarket support doe
The 5.7 is such a mass produced motor for so many different vehicles, you do a little tlc with them and they really come alive. Long tube headers, better filter, handheld tuner maybe a throttle body. The motor is under developed so it can take a bit of upgrades compared to the 392 being more finely tuned. Plus if you blow it up, there’s a million out there and are cheaper to replace. Really a budget friendly car. Got an awd 12 for under 13k in 2021 with under 100k miles. Could never touch a 392 (or mustang or camaro) for that.
@@yodaevil those mods on the 5.7s still barely even bring it to a stock 392s speed. Its definitely alot you can do to them like a cam of course but you have to do alot of work

@@DwaynesJohnsonLaysTheSmackdown different exhaust layout and sound insulation in the cabin. The 6th gen had a different x pipe design, and less noise reduction in the cab. I've driven all 3 of the newer styles and the 6th gen just had much more aggressive tone. Yes, same engine at it's core, though there was a different tuning going forward,
They were also much peppier and raw compared to the newer ones. I've driven them all in EVOC and the Gen 6 was just raw and more enjoyable

A comparison would be pointless since the Journey has been essentially unchanged since it was introduced.
the journeys are fairly decent if you opt out for a 2016ish 3.6 with the 6 speed tranny...they are fairly cheap for an suv and can be found around 20k with decent mileage...on the other hand, the 4 banger with the 4 speed auto would be a waste...4 speeds were scrapped by most auto-makers by 06, and even a standard 4 banger produced after 08 is laughable to come paired with one..😂

i don’t know why know one says anything about this it says 5.4 0 to 60 and 5.6 0 to 100Kilometers per hour there the same fucking thing 100 Kilometers per hour is 60 mph
100km is 62mph, so it can make a big difference depending on shift positions
