I had to modify the modified foam to make them bearable for me😭. I never thought I had a big nose till now.... The biggest problem is in 16:9 mode the edges are blurry and cut off for me. I feel that this is due to DJI using a smaller round optic vs the stretched optics on the old goggles. Luckily I fly 4:3 anyway so it's not a deal breaker, just mildly annoying.
I found out it's not so much the problem with the optics, as with their distance from the eyes. If you press the goggles on your face to flatten the foam a bit, the picture gets "closer" and the edges stop being so blurred. Now I just need to find a foam replacement that will lessen the distance while still providing soft contact surface.
