That was so beautiful Ruby, so well done. I studied Wuthering Heights and Emily Brontë’s poetry for A level English Lit. My teacher used to take on trips to the moors and Top Withens (sometimes in the snow!) and we used to all sit together and read aloud. One of my favourite memories of my life 🥰 Also don’t forget the umlaut over Brontë 😊

I've never commented but have watched you since I was in high school or college, is what we call it in New Zealand. I never dreamed of making it into university and studying physics. I am now and have been for this year, and the next years coming. I just wanted to say you were a massive inspiration to me in those years. I was never too math-smart but something about the passion you held, with everything you did, really was an inspiration. As I hold a lot of that passion for my work too and just wanted to thank you for sharing your personality. I am ecstatic with the privilege to study what I'm passionate about but it really takes people like you, showcasing your passion to the world, that holds together the intricate hope of a better world. It doesn't go unnoticed and probably helps scared nerds like me! lol

Ruby, I have been to both the British Library and the National Gallery in London and they are both very nice. I have many huge manuscripts at the British Library. It is so big. The Bronte countryside which is the Moors does look beautiful and I am sure that it is the very place where the those Bronte films were set especially 'Wuthering Heights'. It is good that you are taking a break after suffering from emotional stress with your Master's degree.

That's so funny about the statue of Blake, I have the complete opposite experience. I used to admire that sort of focus, but now I lean more towards feeling it is sad he couldn't connect with the world around him because he's fixated on this one way of looking at and investigating the world. I don't think there's any single approach that could capture and describe the depth of what we experience. I appreciate both view points though, and I do like geometry :)
