I've never commented but have watched you since I was in high school or college, is what we call it in New Zealand. I never dreamed of making it into university and studying physics. I am now and have been for this year, and the next years coming. I just wanted to say you were a massive inspiration to me in those years. I was never too math-smart but something about the passion you held, with everything you did, really was an inspiration. As I hold a lot of that passion for my work too and just wanted to thank you for sharing your personality. I am ecstatic with the privilege to study what I'm passionate about but it really takes people like you, showcasing your passion to the world, that holds together the intricate hope of a better world. It doesn't go unnoticed and probably helps scared nerds like me! lol
Ruby and Blakeney vlogs give me so much joy! Add into the mix Haworth and the Brontes and my day is made! 🥰 (BTW, the lady who makes/sells those Bronte Scholar badges has an wonderful RUclips channel called “The Bronte Sisters” where she goes to many Bronte sites and delves into Bronte history. I think you would love it! ❤📚🪶)
Keep thriving Ruby Granger. As an Australian writer who has travelled to Brontë Country twice over the last two Yorkshire winters, the beauty of this place will continue to draw me back.
I can't imagine the effort you put into consistently making videos but really appreciate it. It's always a dose of positivity and beauty in the little things. Kind of what the world needs more of I feel like
Hi, Ruby! I lived in London for 2 years a long time ago. I met some great friends there, and I was really happy. But I had to leave there, and now I live very far away from UK. And these days I'm having a hard time. I really want to think positively...but I feel like there's no one around me, and my dream is far away. But seeing London in your video today made me feel better. I walked, and the places I saw in your video, it felt like I went back in time. Thank you for giving me happiness!🥰
Hi Ruby, I'm your mum's age, but l watch your videos because books, places literature and I'm vegan too. It's good to see your recommendation about places to eat out. Greetings from Edinburgh. Oh btw, l lived in London for about 15 years, it's good to see these places l love! Katie
I love the trips you go on. I adore and envy your relationships with your friends and family. You are so close and have such fun together, making great memories.
What a lovely video! Full of beautiful historical places, lovely views, books and heartwarming friendships ❤ a perfect combination, really. Thank you for sharing your enthusiasm Ruby, it's very contagious!
You mentioned in a previous video that you struggled a bit around about the time you were finishing your masters and your videos have of late been a bit intense. But this was lovely...You haven't smiled and laughed so much on video in ages. It was a joy to see....
Ruby is surely dreamy for some people including me. Her love for books and the heritage is always adorable to see, greetings to your lovely mum Ruby! ❤
That was so beautiful Ruby, so well done. I studied Wuthering Heights and Emily Brontë’s poetry for A level English Lit. My teacher used to take on trips to the moors and Top Withens (sometimes in the snow!) and we used to all sit together and read aloud. One of my favourite memories of my life 🥰 Also don’t forget the umlaut over Brontë 😊
I read "a library of lemons" and i was obsessed with the main character and her best friend. They were writing together and that was awesome. You both remained me this book. Incredible having best friend.❤
Thank you for a “Ruby fix” today. Your posts usually make my day because you inspire me and you’re one of the most positive people on RUclips! I’m from the USA and was able to take a group tour of Great Britain in 1997 with my church choir. I went to the British Library as well as an art gallery - I think it was the National Gallery. I loved both places, especially those rare books and the art of Rembrandt! I don’t know why you love rainy days though, especially when it’s pouring. I don’t mind rainy days when it’s just a light to medium rain and you can stay home and be cozy. I would’ve wanted to reschedule that trip to London with it raining so much! This is a great video, and the music you selected is just perfect! You and your friend remind me of Anne Shirley and her “bosom friend” Diana. 😊
I visited Haworth in August, and I can't help but to tear up watching this... I've always loved the Brontë sisters but it never occurred to me that I could visit where they lived, and it was through your first Haworth video when I realised it had to be my next travel destination. It was also my first solo trip and I couldn't have had a better experience. That trip will forever remain in my heart as my favourite.
Seeing videos by you like these remind me how much I adore the UK again. I really hope I can go again next year, last time I went was in 2019... Love your videos Ruby, hope you have a great week❤
I have never been to the British Library, the Coraline exhibition looked so cute. My daughter has the doll . Thanks it was lovely to see so many lovely things and places. 🤗
We, the people of Yaroslavl metallurgical plant, watch your every video during our lunchbrakes and it helps us much. From Yaroslavl with love P.S. your mama is kinda cool and you have the best brows in UK
Honestly, if you made a travel guide for Bronte Country (with paths, bookstores and cafes and other recommendations) I'd pay to have it! All your vlogs there make me want to jump on a plane and visit it
Thank you for sharing your trips to London and Yorkshire. There appears to be so many interesting and extraordinary things you experienced and it was so lovely for you to have shared it with us. I especially liked the moors; I'd heard of them, but had not seen video of them before. Thank you once again!
What a beautiful video. Your enthusiasm is totally infectious. I ended up looking up Vladimir Nabokov and going on a adventure learning something new which was a lovely side effect of your video. Thank you.
Have you read The Songlines by Bruce Chatwin? It struck me just now that a whole chunk of that book (pages and pages and pages) is essentially him collating his own commonplacing. Some of the quotes are enlightening, and I can tell why he wrote them to keep them to hand for years to come. The rest of the book is sort of travel writing, nature writing, autobiography, all wrapped into one, and beautifully written. Would highly recommend! Such a random book, but I was drawn to it in Barter Books and had to buy it. Didn't regret it!
Dear Ruby, thank you so much for your videos! They always make my day! I wish you all the best and luck! You are an amazing person! And it is so awesome to have such a friend with whom you are on the same wave! this is incredible! I’m a bit jealous - but I’m really happy for you! ❤
10:00 everytime i go to university (and school back then) i only have15 minutes to get ready in the morning, and it is the best! Nothing better than sleeping longer because we have everything ready haha just dress, wash teeth and face and eat breakfast!
Your vdo is made my day 😊. When I watch your video. It make my life slow down because my business is going so fast. I always watch your video twice time cause you video made my english improve 🤗. Waiting for the next vdo🥰🥰
Loved this video. You look so happy and relaxed. Nice seeing your mum and friend too. How is your sister doing? When i first found you and bunged all your videos she was in a few 🙂 x
What an absolutely beautiful place. And the Coraline exhibit! I would love to wander the moors in England someday. Additionally, I cannot get over that hotel room! This vlog was simply exquisite.
Ruby, I have been to both the British Library and the National Gallery in London and they are both very nice. I have many huge manuscripts at the British Library. It is so big. The Bronte countryside which is the Moors does look beautiful and I am sure that it is the very place where the those Bronte films were set especially 'Wuthering Heights'. It is good that you are taking a break after suffering from emotional stress with your Master's degree.
This is so wild. I walked past you in Haworth. I said to my husband that I think that it was you but wasn’t sure at the time. We were visiting from Aus. I can’t believe the chances!
Your mum is so lovely! I had to change the playback speed to 75% because I have a difficult time understanding the speech. I'm in the US, in the South LOL!
~~Ruby, Blakeley looks sooo good! Also, the background music selection you chose for this video was excellent! More like this video please. Great video!~~
Love your videos!😍😍 They are always having such an comforting vibe. I also love Britain so much🥹. I‘m from Hamburg but would love to visit London more often🥰
Ruby, if at all possible, would you be able to add captions, especially when you're outside? Sorry, I hate to be a complainer! But we love to hear what you are saying and it's really difficult, especially when it is raining. (And the auto captions from YT are always awful.)
Austin Kleon's books are all good; however, my personal favorite is Keep Going. It's one that I reread on a regular basis ~ lots of helpful ideas and suggestions.
love the video. I was suprised to see "steal like an artist" in your library book list, I was thinking of buying the book yesterday :) Sending regards from Germany :)
at 5:05 you walk past westminster quaker meeting house!! it's featured in a scene from fleabag where the hot priest takes fleabag to a meeting. i'm a nontheist quaker and i've been there so many times! its such a quiet space so tucked away in the middle of london.
Fingers crossed that what you were working on is that you're going to be a guest on their podcast... And if that's not what the "secret project" is, then it should definitely happen someday! :-)
This iis the definetion of Autumnal perfection. Your attention to detail is delightful, and this was an utter to joy to watch! And your music is perfection! Where do you procure it?!🍂🧡🍁

You simply must try and do the trip at some point :)
I totally get wanting to watch Sherlock in autumn, any other time of year is just not the same. Perfect rainy/chilly cosy day watching
Could you please make a video about your favourite cafes, restaurants, cosy spots, shops in London? I think that would be very interesting to watch!
