Could you please explain why you thought that Okay Days is a good book? I read it on Kindle and was not really that amazed.Infact I felt that she is trying to project situations which she tried to imagine or get into them based on her extensive reading and not really convinced me. It is as though she sat down and decided the layout of the stories in a very articulate way and then tried to seduce us with very descriptive details which are supposed to bring us emotionally closer into the described scene. It felt artificial to me. Was not taken by it. I wonder why you were so smitten by it?

There's a great 3-minute video from Ross Sauce here on RUclips that kind of explains the difference.
Demon Copperhead is the best book I've ever read, absolutely phenomenal. I was lucky enough to hear Barbara Kingsolver speaking in Bath a few weeks ago. She was at Hay as well, but I imagine you would have mentioned it if you'd seen her. I hope you enjoy DC, it really is extraordinary. Well worth listening to BK speaking about it as well if you can find an interview. Everything that happens in the book has happened to someone she has talked to.

I'm about to enter my master this year just like you and I feel excited just because we'll do this at the same time. We can do this, guys ! I just wanted to say, I wasn't feeling well this week, and your video showed up at the right time for my mental health. Thank you Ruby for being you

I’ve been wanting to write a novel of sorts for a while, how do you get started? I’ve written poetry but don’t seem to have the creative power to write anything longer
Hey, I currently am in the process of outlining a novel and I have a few ideas. Just keep in mind I am blind so if mistakes are here I apologize. You could always start off with short stories. Maybe a short story that is only one or two pages, and as you get more comfortable increase to 10 or 20 pages. Which writing short stories you can still go through the process of outlining, and everything else that you would probably want to do when writing a full length novel but this way you can start off a little bit smaller than trying to dive into a 50,000 word book for example. To be completely honest I hate outlining but I have found a really simple outline technique that has been really useful. I will create a two column table and make three different tables in the style. One will be for characters, one will be for individual settings, and the final one will be for chapters of the book. in the character table the first column on the left would have the name of my character, and the second column on the right would have one or two brief sentences about the characters personality. This would apply the same to the other two tables. What I like about the style specifically is it’s very flexible, are they continue to work on the story I can add or subtract ideas easily, but I still have a foundation that I can work on which helps me keep my story on track. if you want to do something more complicated, go right ahead but at least for me the simplicity of the style has been really useful. Another thing you can do is a 15 or 10 minute right. Set that time aside every day or every few days whenever you have the availability and rate. Having an outline in place before you begin may be useful but sometimes trying to motivate yourself to write for hours is tough. This means starting off with not a big chunk of time like only 10 or 15 minutes can be useful. You always can increase his time slowly but surely as you enjoy writing more or become more comfortable. Another great thing is you can flip-flop through many stories. 10 or 15 minutes isn’t a big obligation so if you are getting bored you can always finish it for that session, not too much longer, and the next day move on. Rather, then forcing yourself to sit for two or three hours and just purely right. I hope you have found this to be useful, and if you have any other questions do not hesitate to reach out. I wish you all the best luck with your writing❤
Hi Ruby! I’ve been watching your videos for about a month now. So happy I stumbled on to your channel. It’s peaceful, informative and inspiring. At the risk of seeming intrusive (I don’t mean to be) I’m wondering about your room and house in general. I love English country homes. The natural light from the casement windows is beautiful, but are they insulating? I see you keep a hot water bottle with you when it’s cold (very cozy, by the way). I also wonder how often a little bird may fly in through the open windows. I want to be a nature lover like you, but I’m still a die-hard city girl. Thank you and keep making your lovely videos!

Ruby and Jade ahhh finally!!! Both are looking gorgeous as always
You and Jade are literally my all time favourite youtubers!! Thank you for this video, Ruby, you don't even realize how much you contributed to my motivation during the past years!🤍
It really is astonishing how much I connect with you and your videos. We have so much in common, our age, being a literature student, the love for books and nature and the countryside and just general mindset I guess 🫶🏻 watching your videos feels so relaxing and healing, like seeing an old friend.
Lots of love from Germany 🌿✨
P.S. we‘ve had the same rainy and cooler weather here these past few days, which feels like such a blessing after the heat wave 😅 is it too early to dream of autumn? I don‘t think so..
You are lucky. Where I am located the weather has been extremely hot but at least there is some rain. Autumn is so beautiful and it never is too early to dream of.
I love your daily routines. It shows that you work very hard. I saw the Portrait Gallery several times when I went to London, England. It is very nice.
Where about is that beautiful train station you were at ?
I love Jade, buuut you are my favorite.
Your backpack, Did you say you had nothing for love?
I am in love of these videos
when I first watched your vlog I was going to high school and next summer I'll be graduating from collage and I felt emotinal like we grew up together 💜
That's crazy! Ah good luck with your final year x
i'd like to say that i'm one of many people who turned my laptop sideways to see what the script for your talk said once you printed it
What did it say? I am blind so I would appreciate someone share because she did not say in the video
Could you please sell your tea on your website or provide a link to buy it at Bird and Blend?

I've been wanting to know this too! It's lovely
Your make up and outfit was so pretty ❤❤❤
Ruby! I ❤ when you make film while you in the train...sooo tradition! 🌱🌹🌼. And I ❤ to see the film about you as a worker lady. Is it efisien????
Me whenever Ruby posts: 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳

✨So beautiful; such a delightful, wonderful, inspiring journey to watch this- such an enriching life experience. Thank you for sharing this, it was thrilling -all the beauty and inspiration your imagination could possibly wish for. So hope I get the opportunity to do the same trip😁
I really liked the tip on just getting in the habit of submitting things to publication even if you don't feel that great about them. I think that may help my own personal hump that I'm trying to get over. I'm just so much of a perfectionist and I won't submit ANYTHING at the moment.
Hi darling, I just wanted to say that you have inspired me to study not necessarily English but law criminal justice law to be precise and human rights law also criminology and psychology, and I must say your videos are so aesthetically pleasing from a city girl to you a country girl keep it up you’re one of my favourite Study RUclipsrs you motivate me to study and be productive so as to order Student to a younger student, I think you.
Really enjoyed this, would love to see more week in my life videos from you
