This was so helpful! I’ve tried Kaima Cosmetics’ Multichrome Eyeshadow Flakes before but never Karla Cosmetics. The price was putting me off but your video has made me realise it’s worth the investment 😍
This is a video I definitely I’m interested in. When it comes to pigments that is another level for me, because I like more natural makeup but still love this formulas. Thank you so much for one this educational ideo Sneha 🤗
Sneha girly I needed help!!! Lol That's why I asked you...of course I'm going to watch your video infact I've watched All your videos you are are an amazing artist I absolutely adore the way you explain makeup in a concise and comprehensive manner.. X
My favorite source for makeup here in the US (Camera-Ready Cosmetics based in Texas) just sent around an announcement that they are now stocking Karla Cosmetics and I loved the beautiful colors, but couldn't find information about how to apply these multi-chrome types of products, so I am very happy I found your video -- such a great tutorial! I have a request: if it wouldn't be too much trouble, could you make a version that is all in real time (I appreciate that you speed it up when you are applying the products because people who are experienced with these techniques would get bored otherwise) for those of us who are completely new to this? Thank you so much!!
Hi, thank you for your message. I'm glad this video was helpful. I am busy this month but can plan on filming that later this year.. In the meantime, you could try watching the application/demo at reduced speed (0.25x or 0.5x).. maybe that would help..
Yay!! My kinda video.. :) :) Its so difficult to capture multichromes... i do the same.. use the flashlight of the phone.. table lamp.. what not.. great video! yass to multiple multichromes although i dont think i have ever applied like that in in real life..
Haha, tell me about it.. they look amazing in person (quite like PMG special shades) but so difficult to capture on camera! Thank you so much for watching 🤗❤️
Question. Please clarify if you are dipping your brush in the mul tichrome after you put the mixing med on it. Wondering if that will infect the shadow over time(?).
For the loose multi chrome, I work from a little amount on my palette. For the pressed PMG one, I used one corner of the eyeshadow pan after dipping the brush in mixing medium from a palette. I don't soak the brush in MM, so it does not destroy my eyeshadows. It's just to get the top surface of the corner wet. I have used MMs for years now and never had any trouble.
the Karla pigments look SO divine!! I am wondering, do they have a list of their ingredients when they send their packages? becuase i checked on their website and they don't list it which concerns me. Thank you for this video!!! The multichromes look beautiful and your video is very informative!
Thanks so much Ann ❤️ Unfortunately, I no longer have the outer packaging of the Karla pigments and I can't remember if the ingredients were mentioned on the back. Best option would be to contact customer care. They have been pretty good at responding to my queries on Instagram in the past.
Hey Ann, I ordered another multi chrome pigment from Karla and I do have the ingredients for you - Silicon Dioxide 86.3%, Aluminium 0.2%, Mica 1.3%, Dyes 0.5%
@@Beautylashes19 Oh I see, I want to try a black based multichrome but my eyes are small, so I don't have very much lid space and I usually don't have much time so I need something quick but impactful.
@@jessicatang983 the ones with the dark base have a darker colour generally.. so they might make small eyelids look smaller.. Maybe you could try a matte eyeshadow in the crease and a lighter or white based multichrome on the eyelid.. it should help with small eyelids..
Do you know if they have changed the prices of the multichrome eyeshadows from Karla cosmetics? It seems they are now £19.99 for only 1g...that is a massive increase to the price you mentioned in the video (£17.50 for 2g?).
Hi, I checked the container but it doesn't mention how much product is in it. I have thrown away the outer packaging which had the info so it might be best to contact the company directly. I could have been mistaken too.

I’m so glad to hear someone else say that the Sydney Grace multichromes don’t show the shift well. I do have one of the cream shades (Alexandrite) and that shows way way more shift!

I am so glad I came across your channel, I've just been binging your videos because you've got all the videos on the brands I've been wanting to try. Have you tried any of Karla's new shades? I've got my eyes on either Siesta or Neverland for the colored multi-chromes as well as some of the more "clear" shifters (not the single color pastels). Might be cool to see a multichrome showdown of Karla vs Danessa's Twin Flames. Looking forward to seeing more of your content! x
Thank you ❤️ Yes, I have Neverland and 3 other shades in the Opal finish (like Sweetheart).. they are all gorgeous but I do prefer the chrome finish on my skintone. I have some Twin Flames from DM so I might consider doing a comparison although they are cream vs powder multichromes.

@@Beautylashes19 Right now I've narrowed it down to two brands, the Karla gel multichromes and the Clionadh pressed. Have you tried the Karla multichrome gel formula? Do you know if this can be used as an eyeliner and whether it needs an additional mixing medium? The gel is supposed to act like a mixing medium but since I'm interested in using it as a liner, I'm worried about longevity.
Multichromes are stunning. Great to see how they shift on the eyes in different settings. You've convinced me to get those mixing mediums added to my cart. Thanks! :D
Great tips and looks! I'm glad I found Mehron mixing amazing functions in your channel! How do you use the liquid mixin with the pressed shadows? You just wet the brush and swipe on the color shade or we need to take a bit of the eyeshadow from the palette? Thanks a lot!
You're welcome 😊 I put a drop or two of the mixing medium on a palette and dampen the brush end with it. Then I swipe the brush in one corner of the eyeshadow pan to avoid hard crust on the entire pan. This way I can use the eyeshadow wet or dry. I think I demonstrate this in my "best mixing medium" video.

One of my questions was whether it's possible to use a multichrome as a one and done eyeshadow and just blend it out to transition
It would depend on the base colour of the multichrome.. some have white base and they wouldn't work.. but other have a black base, those would work..
