Yes Milly is my favorite Beauty Influencer. I love her content. Millly is a very talented artist. I discovered her sometime in 2019 . When Tatti stopped posting, I found Milly I watched her channel grow. Milly is very sweet and REAL !! What you see is what you get , no smoke and mirrors . Milly was the first Beauty Queen that replied back besides Mel Thompson to my comments and questions and gave me that love and respect you would want back . That other influencers don’t do. That’s what makes her the 👸 Beauty Queen she is her talent and most of all her integrity💄💄💄💄💄♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

This video is SO GOOD! You nailed these dupes - it's really cool to see the subtle differences between brands. I wish there was a text overlay stating the brand and color name, but I get that's a lot of work too. The swatches alone are very helpful in making a purchase decision though; especially when the photos on the brand's websites always look amazing.
Just wanted to add, since brexit, when you buy from UK to a EU country, you'll have to pay taxes the same as when you buy from any other area in the world. So if you live in EU, it is cheaper to buy from another EU based brand (or a schengen area country) for example: Lethal, Nabla, Glam shop, LH cosmetics, 1944 Paris, Inglot, Oden's eye, Kryolan...). You'll still have to pay for shipping (in general it costs between 5 to 10€ within the EU) but there won't be customs fees to pay!

It was worth it!
My first multichromes I bought was very early in the trend and were gels you had to wear over black. 6 weeks after buying I opened one and it was dried solid and useless. I hope the gel ones have gotten better, but they are tricky regardless. Powder ones have come a long way and are much easier.

I’m so glad you revisited Karla cosmetics! I recently got 3 loose pigments from the brand but I gotta say that they’re very pricey and many shades very dupable. I didn’t realize sleepyhead and cosmos were so similar, now it makes me want to swatch those side by side! I did think the sleepyhead promo pics were just a little misleading with how foiled and also baby blue the color is. Not as opaque as I had thought and more textured. It is still very stunning though and I love the mattes you paired it with…!!!
Yes it’s more textured but still very finely milled particle type it’s interesting. Meanwhile The Cosmos is super flaky and chunky

Millie you're always a great reference for indie shadows. I wish there was some sort of e-reference book where u put swatches, dupes, textures and comments kinda like temptalias page but indie shadows.

The only benefit to Karla Cosmetics for me is that they are readily available in Australia, but they are priced up 100% to $40 each, (about $30 US, although $40A in Australia buys about the same as $40 US in USA). So, I did buy one, but tbh, wouldn't bother with anymore. The markup is enormous! I can get Cleonadh much cheaper if I'm prepared to wait. (And wait...)
That pricing is insanity considering brands like Chaos Cosmetics (not chaos makeup) charge $6-8 for a 5gm loose duo/multichrome pigment! 😭

OMG I had never heard anyone else talk about Pariah House!! So excited for her!!
I've been lucky as of late that some of these brands (Blend Bunny, Karla) have stockists in Australia but for the most part, what kills purchasing (and supporting) these brands is the abysmal shipment fees. Shipping can equally cost about as much as one of the palettes. However, apart from Glaminatrix, its hard to find indie brands who specialize in the makeup type & quality I desire within Australia.
Outside of rare collections as a treat (birthday gifts for myself), unless Karla Cosmetics decides to ship more of their products to stockists, their price point pretty much kills any desire for me to purchase from them and it'd likely kill off potential customers internationally. Again, for me, they're competing with Terra Moons & other USA/Canada/Asia based brands who not only provide similar products but just at way better cost points.

For international orders they're best. I was confused how fast it shipped with no customs problems. And no shipping costs because I ordered more. Terra Moons was fast but I need to pay customs. No problem with that. Karla is the cheapest when I add all that shipping and etc. Just make that right for their good 😊 sorry my English

I think I have been so spoiled by this several year flurry of multichromes that it's hard for me to get excited by eyeshadows coming out that have no shift unless it's a palette that is extra special like the by melolops palette. Charging 28 usd for 1 multichrome is ridiculous considering I paid a few dollars more and scored up on that millionaira palette!
It’s a lotttt. I think it’s more worth it for people in the UK who would otherwise have spend $20-30 in just shipping and fees
Omg I just got my opal multi chrome eyeshadow from Kara in sleeping head and it is gorgeous thanks to you you have helped me find some of these brands as stated in one of your videos I was telling you I was just getting into them didn’t know they even made till about 5 months ago and that was seeing one of your uploads I am forever grateful to you if you could do a video showing different mattes you could use for the multi chrome base would be wonderful I know you did one explaining black base and then like green / teal but would love to see others and learn ok thankyou again ❤️

I bought Lullaby a while ago and it was definitely under £20. They are very expensive but I think the pigments have extra processing and more finely milled than others. I buy them for the texture and liquid metal shine mostly - they last so well on my extremely hooded textured lids.
The duochrome pricing and the mixing gel are pretty ridiculous. There are lots of mediums that work well with these and a fraction of the cost.
These are super beautiful for sure.. but whoa! They are quite pricey!
I love their pigments the way they look... but I can dupe most of these and the cost just isn't there for me... so I'll stick to all my dupes... maybe someday I'll get something but not sure... loved the second look the most that shimmery goodness was stunning
This is fantastically helpful -- thank you! I've had my eye on those multichromes by Karla Cosmetics, but they pretty much instantly sold @ my go-to source (Camera-Ready Cosmetics) shortly after the announcement went around that they were stocking that brand . I just got a gel multichrome by Danessa Myricks "Laser Beam" and can't wait to try it, especially now that I have a better idea of how these products work. I'll be looking at the other brands you recommend and see if I can downsize the cost, as I'm sure I'll want more. Thanks again!
What do you know about Karla cosmetics being problematic? Proglitz's Aquamarine is the same as Karla's Sleepy Head, but the latter is claiming they make it uniquely in their lab.
Hi Milly, have you ever tried aloe gel to mix powders (or "revive" the liquid colours)? I think i've seen it's a main ingredient of karla's gels so I wonder if it may work alone...
Can you use the mehron mixing liquid with these eyeshadows and what would be the best way dip brush in mix or tap a little out and mix thankyou sorry for all the questions but as stated new to these ❤️

LOL. I think it would be great if you bought some samples from Sheenbow and a lightbulb might turn on about multichromes in general and price. Sheenbow is the number 1 supplier of these types of shades industrial and cosmetic. The other company in the EU is still shut down because of pandemic

Which company would you say is the cheapest but has good reflect?
i'm thinking a bunch of brands and companies across industries have upped their prices because of the pandemic causing logistics issues. shipping has gone up by a lot according to a few artists i follow waiting on things they've had manufactured. i'm surprised you didn't compare that one red-orange-green iridescent shade to red giant. it looks pretty similar from what we saw on camera i think

For *ONE GRAM* of product, it would end up being over $30 (I have to convert to Canadian dollars).

The sleepy head multi chrome cost me $30.11 but it’s gorgeous and hadn’t tried anything from them before
The fix potion they sell is just aloe vera. I hate it it's absolutely terrible, probably the worst fix potion I've ever used tbh. I always use a glitter glue instead because I don't feel the fix potion works enough for them.

I Lively in México and is very complicarte to get to multicromes from the brands you said, recently I got a lot from Karla cosmetics because a local from here have it. Im so sad to see what you said bc i hace spent a lot of money like 350 😢 i dont have it yet but i hope it worth it. I dont have duocrome or multicrome so l only hope it works 😂
