😂😂 foreigners know nothing about India but speak like they know all. India has 1000 culture with 1000 cuisine and you call everything as spicy? Don't make mistake by putting a most diversed nation into just one bracket.

india has 1000 culture with 25x more land area.
      meanwhile nepal has 130 culture.
if nepal would be equal size of india,we would have 2500+ culture.
just accept it bro. nepal has to offer more within small area.
india is 25 times larger,...but culture is just 7x larger than nepal@@santhoshv3028

I disagree with her about the culture thing. She ignores Nepal's diverse cultures (142 ethnic groups! With their own unique culture and traditions). It's nor her fault hiking is indeed most highlighted one. While India is 22 bigger than Nepal of course it have more to show. But people need to understand Nepal has more than just hiking! Tourists (aka RUclips tourist) miss exploring beyond Kathmandu and Pokhara. RUclipsrs prioritize views, not genuine travel experiences. Few RUclips tourist have been able to show the genuineness in their video.

Yeah.. the density of unique indigenous diversity in Nepal is unmatched in the world. India could've had such dense diversity but due to it being occupied by foreign powers especially Muslims and even extreme hindu rulers who didn't tolerate many indigenous cultures and did genocide. In Nepal, every ethnic community have been living with freedom and no oppression since beginning of civilization here. Just the Newar community of Kathmandu valley consists of hundreds of groups of people who entered the valley at different times for more than 5000 years. The Gopals, Mahispals, Kirats, Shakyas of Lumbini, Lichhavis, Mallas, Maithili from Simraungadh, Buddhists of India who ran away from Genocide from Indian Hindu rulers, Hada and Khatri people from Rajasthan, Rajputs like Rathore, Kashmiri Muslims who cane to trade and remained here since Malla times, etc. all of them who entered Kathmandu valley before unification by Shah dynasty assimilated in Newar communities, spoke Newari and celebrated Newari jatras and traditional practices. So if one analyzes the history of every surname of Newars of Kathmandu valley, this will show the history of whole sub-continent, Himalayas, Tibetan plateau, southeast Asia and east Asia. Every community and ethnic group who were conquered and expeled from their original home in and around the subcontinent eventually came to Kathmandu valley and hills of Nepal to take refuge where the indigenous Nepali people were very kind and welcoming to accept them in their communities

Anyhow she is totally right. She never said Nepal is not culturally diverse or rich. She only mentioned which places are popular for what reasons. Those places in Rajasthan are definitely popular as tourist spots for culture while Nepal has been mostly popular for trekking only. The only cultures the tourists see are Newari as they land in TIA and spend few days in Kathmandu valley, Gurung/Magar/Thakali/Tibetan culture when visiting Pokhara and trekking Annapurna region, Sherpa culture in Everest region trek and some Tharu culture if they visit Chitwan. So Nepal has only been able to popularize a handful of different cultures/ethnic communities among hundreds of different groups. Huge civilizations like Kirat in east, Maithili in south, Khas in the west etc remain totally unexplored when tourists visit and return from Nepal. This is the fault of the government and even failure of local governments. The provincial and local governments can easily promote their regions and advertise them in Kathmandu and Pokhara. I'm sure many tourists would love to explore those unexplored regions which are pure and not spoiled by overcrowded tourists and tourism based infrastructures. They can explore raw Nepal. So those local governments should create packages with guides if necessary and advertise them in Thamel, Lakeside, airports etc

meanwhile in india, all cities are ranked as worlds worst and polluted.
i understand shes indian,so its obvious she will try to make india look better..but india isnt better in any way... maybe just it education and health is a better in india.
fact: 98% nepali medical students who got certificate from inidan universities fails in nepal while giving medical license exam. you can surely understand level of corruption in their education system. only 72 students passed license exam in nepal among 4000 nepalese who studied in india.

well kathmandu isnt foggy or smoggy cause of dust..its just because its surrounded by 6000m hills from all the sides.. in that case the fog cant really escape from ktm. above ktm valley, lets say chandragiri theres no fog at all.
so if ktm wasnt surrounded by hills, there wont be fog smoke dust smog at all. its all due to high hills on all side covering kathmandu.
meanwhile in delhi, fog are everywhere even though its a plain area. its smokes burnt by farmers.
nepal doesnt have that case..though he always get affected by indian farming smokes they burn all at once.

india is 25x larger than nepal in area. but in culture diversity, its just 7x larger.
so basically if u fix a certain boundry ..,lets say 100km, in nepal you are more likely to find 3x more diverse ethnic groups than u will find in india.
despite being small, nepal offers so much 128 ethnics within couple of 1000 kms. in case of india, you need to travel way too much.its 7th largest in the world.

I recommend to any Nepalese or Indians not to brag about anything about your culture. If you can guide him in proper way that’s good but don’t try to convince him to like your countries. He is there to explore guys not to be forcefully convinced. You guys are desperate to gain recognition in comments. I might sound harsh but all im saying to you guys commenting is that let him decide in his own. Know the difference of guiding and forcing. Don’t make him look confused.

Every corner's street, footpath, stream, and river are beautified rapidly under the Mayorship of Mr. Balen Shaha. The city is now planning to make more and more greenery and construct more parks and walking trails along the bank of the river...Above all, the major heritage sites are now under control and prohibited for vehicles, and still trying their best to reconstruct them, if found in decapitate condition. I hope you enjoyed your stay in Nepal.
