Chris can identify all the Indian dishes by just looking at them. This guy learns really really fast 😅
Uh... Chris can read from a menu guide.
@@francispressly8517 reading the menu and actually identifying them is different.
@@francispressly8517 But he pretty much identified everything and then just confirmed from the menu😅
@@AmolJadhav-fi8pt Yes Amol; but, if you paid close attention you would have seen the diagram on the opposite page of the written menu that lays out where each dish is located on the thali.
@@RajVivek No Vivek you can see him referring back and forth from the diagram/menu to the platter. He is off camera (audio only), when he makes many "identifications".

Other youtubers when they order a giant Thali only have 1 bite of each. You guys are actually enjoying it! Can tell that you guys truly love Indian food like me. 🎉
Can't agree more. They have savoured each and every dish heartily and were also curious to know each and every thing. Chris the Indian food Wikipedia and Maxy the true food admirer. Their videos are addictive
Their comments are always respectful. Hope they didn't waste any food. 3 people can easily eat this thali.
They both only ate half of the Thali, how is that respectful when alot of people in the world are starving

You should pair the makki ki roti (corn roti) with sarson ka saag (the green pastey curry, which is actually mustard leaves+spinach gravy). Iconic and CLASSIC combo! 💚
This was just torture to watch. I'm ready to hop on an airplane to India.

I just told my husband that I want Indian food tomorrow 😊
You are right, Indian vegetarian foods are so tasty. The only thing I knew that Indian food in India has more sodium than the ones in California (maybe depending on where you went), but that’s how my husband and I had experienced when we were there on 2014 😂
Chris is a good company 😊
Sodium is very rarely used in Indian cuisine
Chinese, American and European dishes contain 50 times more sodium than Indian food. Your backhanded compliment is not welcome. Stop nitpicking and be sincere in your praise, just sayin.
@@anusharma4204 stop being butthurt about everything. Indian food contains loads of sodium.

One naan alone contains too much sodium with salted butter and stop being insecure so much lol

I just love the way they appreciate indian food with such gestures is so sweet as well as so respectful…thank you both of you🤟🏻
Only one thing i find funny as well as cute the other guy holding the menu in his all time hand and reciting everything hahaha😄
22:35 I'm surprised at how easily you came up with the right explaination for that dish. Its called Khichdi. Youre right its made with Lentils (Daal) and rice and a little salt. Thats it. And its a very simple light dish. Mostly had when someone falls sick and needs fast recovery or made for elderly people who cant eat a lot of spicy and oily foods. So if you didnt know that beforehand, you got that spot on!

all the spices came from south ...so don't just say punjabi...punjabi food has a limit .....there are many food which are far better than punjbai food
@@executorben9800 relax bro lol! many things comes from North too. but why bother when It's all Indian?!
South Indian breakfast & punjabi lunch are famous all over the world
@@executorben9800 nope, all the spices were traditionally grown in punjab or surrounding areas.
there is a reason, most punjabi food is mild, compared to others in india.
degi mirch and saffron from kashmir, red pepper from rajasthan/sindh. black pepper aam/aamchur from sindh. cumin, cardamom, cinnamon, kadi pata, locally grown.
south indian spices did not travel/were expensive due to transportation. these traditional dishes predate india as a country.
