    Super helpful video!
    I was happy to learn that you don't have to have the access port plugged in and running all the time. Have you found a need for ugrading the IC yet? Frankly, all I wanted to do was add a front monted winch to mine and that is what got me down this rabbit hole ....😂

    • @raptorsofinsta
      @raptorsofinsta  Год назад +3

      Yes I've since added a front mount intercooler and went with Stage 2 and the difference is significant!! Highly recommend stage 2 over stage 1. The truck is so much more responsive and fun to drive. The rabbit hole never ends lol.

      Worse than without a tune 😂 I don’t really look at mpg to be honest. It’s around 13 right now.

    @RaptorsofInsta just bought my 2019 and picked it up today. Wondering if you have had any reliability issues or concerns from the dealer regarding your tunes? I'm highly considering Goosetuned Stage 1 and TCM. Also, are you running an aftermarket exhaust? If so, which one, and how do you like it?

    • @raptorsofinsta
      @raptorsofinsta  2 года назад +5

      Congrats and welcome to the family! I haven't had any reliability issues since installing the tune. If you go Goosetuned I highly recommend the custom TCM, it will smooth out the shifting tremendously. I am running an AWE 2FG exhaust, which just replaces the muffler. If you go to some of my earliest videos I've done some before/after of the sound. It is honestly the best sounding exhaust for the Raptor, I've heard almost every setup.

    Average cost of a tune? What kind of front bumper?

    • @raptorsofinsta
      @raptorsofinsta  3 месяца назад

      Front bumper is ADD pro bolt on. Tune pricing varies you’d have to reach out to Goosetuned directly. It’s been awhile since I tuned the Gen 2.

    Any specific reason why you haven’t done stage 2? They say that intercooler helps drastically

    • @raptorsofinsta
      @raptorsofinsta  3 года назад +1

      No specific reason, just haven’t purchased an intercooler yet. I’ve heard Stage 2 is amazing and that the FMIC makes a huge difference. I’d like to do it soon!

    Why are you doing datalogs 6 months after having the tune? Should I expect it to take 21 datalogs to get the tune adjusted correctly?

    • @raptorsofinsta
      @raptorsofinsta  Год назад

      Not at all, you can finish logs and tuning in a couple of days, just depends on how quick you are at logging data and sending it back to Winfield. He's super fast at making adjustments and responding to emails. We were already done with tuning at this point. This video was just filmed later to simply show people how to log data, because I was getting tons of questions about it. I think we were done tuning after 5 or 6 revisions.

      All pricing is on his website, not sure if it’s changed at all since I got them a few years ago.
