Very nice. I grabbed a quick 9 today and used your foot techniques to draw and fade on command. I’ve been struggling with control for years. I can’t believe how much easier it is after this video. Thanks.
Great vid Jimmy ! You're helping a lot of people get better ! Fun and easy to watch .. as you don't over complicate !! Hope you had a great Christmas and wish you all the best in the New Year ! BTW - I've seen people slice it 1 course over but never 2-3 over.- haha . :)
Nice....I noticed the "controlled " driver swing worked out well (belt hi feel, same as irons feel)...will be trying this as I work on shortening my swing. Btw...my miss is "fore left!!" But the vid was helpful anyway.
So, no grip change? I’ve been a non driver owner for years, I hit my 3 wood, 5 wood, even an iron off the tee on certain holes. I can’t seem to hit a draw with any of the tips I’ve seen, I give up. I just square up and swing.
To hit a draw, move your right foot back an inch or two. Wish it were that easy. If you’re coming over the top, moving your foot back is not going to fix it.
I rhink it would be good to actually explain what you're doing. You're simply changing the angle at which the head makes contact with the ball....either producing a draw, straight shot...or fade.
Great video. I like how your stay natural and keep it real like we’re playing together on a course if you know what I mean. It’s simple explanation with a lil humor. I like the jacuzzi ref😅.
I've been playing golf and studying the game since I was 28 and now I'm knockin on the door of 65 and believe me I have studied every golf how to vid by all the great golf pro's and expert teacher's of this great game , And I love what your teaching Jim and as soon as this dam weather warms and snow goes away , I'll be practicing your method , I once used a method similar to your wave at the camera method it was called Square To Square swing and had very good results But as usual my success faded Probably was lifting the club not turning my body as you teach , What you are teaching makes awesome sense Thankyou for your video's Happy New Year !!
wow brother, you have just made my golf life so much easier, am a 14,6 HC, but your vids will make me a single figure soon, just saved 5-8 shots by just hitting it easy, love the easy swing, you are the DON my man, Jimmy the GOLFFATHER
Absolute GOLD Jimmy!!! This is gonna be my only swing thought when I play next. Right foot back, swing to waist, turn thru 👏 Awesome having your Dad on the channel. I was born and raised up the road in Amarillo. Cheers 🍻
Thanks for the great video, Jimmy! Just in time for me to work on my draw since I'm planning to go the range tomorrow 😁. It's odd for me cos I can draw the balls easily with my driver and the range but not when I'm playing on the course. But will definitely try out your tips here. Thanks again and wishing you and your family a Happy New Year 2024!!🎉🎉🎉
Jimmy, I think you changed my game. I can’t play much now ( in NJ) , but the few times I played after watching your videos I have seen 5-6 stroke improvement. Great honest golf advice (less is more) and realistic results. I must have watched over 1000 golf instruction vids and never has one stuck like yours. Thank you 🙏. I’ll let you know how I’m shooting in the spring time when I get back out there.
Another great video Jimmy I like how you make it so simple to hit fades and draws not 100 moving body parts like every body else’s videos on RUclips. Great to see you spending time with your dad family is what it’s all about looking forward to your next video
Great simplified way to explain how to swing right of the target line for a draw or left for the fade. The way you explained it was exactly same advice i got when i was trying to get rid of the slice years ago.
great video Jimmy. Love the draw/fade technique. ill have to try that next time at the range. QUESTION: how do you play your pitch shots from 50 yards and below, where you have to get the ball on the green but since you play your shots on your back foot (delofting), how do you get the ball to flop up and land still, if you are delofting the ball?
doesnt solve a dang thing. for those slicers that turn the shoulder at the start of the downswing, pulling your foot back 2 inches will not do a dang thing. you have to shift your weight foreard and drop the club before turning the shoulders. yes it does take practice and lots of it. quit giving false info!!!!
I started golfing last year at 62 years of age, and I've still haven't hit a driver. I use my heavenwood or my Big Bertha B21 4 hybrid to get the ball in play. I play EGOLESS golf...in fact I broke 40 last August with just a 7 and 9 iron, a pitching wedge and my putter. I don't have the finances to lose 2 to 4 balls a round because I can't control my driver. Sounds like leaving your ego at home may be a problem for you.
@@FerrellKatz it has nothing to do with an ego. Why would that even been factor? Im just saying hitting a driver and having less club into a green or trying for two on a par 5, is very rewarding. Great job on your accomplishment, but a 20 handicap can do that from the ladies tees. I digress
Jimmy you need to put a shot tracer on your videos. We can't see your ball when you hit it
its coming. Im hoping to hire someone in 2024

Hey, Happy Holidays! Thanks for watching and for the comment! Im glad the tips are helping!
Shot tracer please. It will validate your shot shapes. Also, what’s in the bag please. Hope you and yours had a great Christmas 🎄….🏌🏿♂️⛳️😎🇺🇸🐊
thank you. the "what's in the bag" is coming in Jan. Stay tuned. Thanks for watching
best one I have seen in a long time. Easy to follow and millions can relate. Thanks bro!
I love to hear it. thanks for watching
Great video!
glad you liked it. thanks for watching
The driver is the devil. I use a mini-driver. Almost as far, stays in play.
im glad you have a replacement. keep it up. thanks for watching. - jimmy www.tropicanagolfshop.com
Nice....I noticed the "controlled " driver swing worked out well (belt hi feel, same as irons feel)...will be trying this as I work on shortening my swing. Btw...my miss is "fore left!!" But the vid was helpful anyway.
Hey Mitch, Cntrolled driver is key. Fore left means you need more lateral shift on your downswing. Ill do a video about it.
Awesome

El Paso my man. Ill let ya know if I ever come through

Well you're changing your swing path first then changing the angle. I explain the shoulder angle at the end. Thanks for watching.
where was this recorded?
Great video. I like how your stay natural and keep it real like we’re playing together on a course if you know what I mean. It’s simple explanation with a lil humor. I like the jacuzzi ref😅.
Thanks for watching. The jacuzzi makes me relax before long important putts
Well done Jimmy good video & honest....😅

Hello. I play it back foot and I hit my 69 degree wedge. I try to land it 20-25 ft from the hole and let it trickle up
thanks, what about flop shots? do you play those back as well? if so, do you open the club face?@@TropicanaEntertainment
Thank you for the video, Jimmy. Wishing you a blessed new year
Thanks for watching!!
Great video sir! Keep up the good work!
Thank you for watching!
Thanks Jimmy
I like your fade draw and hitting straight trick, eclipse easy and good results. Thanks!
Love all of this! Thanks bro 😎

Sorry Bob but you’re incorrect
im not@@TropicanaEntertainment
I enjoy your vids, but telling people they can only hit a fairway 1 out of 100 times and to hit a five iron off of every tee is rubbish.....
Why is it rubbish?
@@TropicanaEntertainment because what is the point in playing if you cant figure out how to hit your driver...What fun is that???
