@@eirianstarlesschild521 I really respect you for this. And I would strongly urge you to consider adopting, especially a child older than 3. I unexpectedly got offered a job at a non-profit that builds/operates supervised housing for “unaccompanied youth” (homeless teenagers), and it changed everything I thought I knew about the adoption system, and what it’s like to be an orphan in today’s world. In short, it’s hell. Absolute hell. Babies and toddlers get adopted. Older kids don’t, and they spend their entire childhood being bounced around from foster home to foster home, school to school, never staying in one place long enough to have friends, and feel secure. Then, on their 18th birthday, they’re on their own. That’s it. I can’t tell you how much I wish people who _do_ want kids would seriously consider adopting an older child, because there are so many children already in existence who have no one, who have never felt loved or wanted, and are treated like undesirables by a broken, criminally underfunded system. “Women are meant to nurture” girl I’ve seen plenty of babysitters, teachers, childcare providers, etc. w/o kids and who don’t want kids either and still do their jobs perfectly fine.
DUDE! If women could ACTUALLY control their periods and have them only once or twice a year that would be AMAZING! Do you know how many women would want that!? Do you know how much trouble that would prevent!? If that was how periods work the world would be a better place. But it's not how they work. They will come once a month, every month, for thirty plus years whether we want them to or not.
I'm an angry, bitter sociopath who doesn't like kids and has never wanted them so my bitterness made my ovaries incapable of having babies. I'm so happy Candace knows me so well.
On the Candace Owens tweet, people who throw out expletives like angry, bitter, sociopath, are often projecting what they don't like about themselves onto others. Considering that she just had a child recently, I can see why the stress of that would make her feel that way about herself. I'm just surprised she would describe herself so accurately, maybe she should go look in the mirror.
Eep….Also just wanna put in my two cents. She probably doesn’t approve of nonbiological families (Aka adoptions or fostering), and that’s not a solution in general either. Not just because it’s expensive, but also because the kids involved are often living through trauma or are traumatized. Adoption and foster care, as it stands, especially in the US, is EXTREMELY traumatizing. If an adult trying to adopt or foster a kid is not trained well enough in trauma care, child care and psychology, and so on, it’s gonna be so much worse. The system needs lots of fixing.
Howdy, as a person who has a period, I hate it whenever anybody without a period claims 'its not THAT painful' I get so annoyed. Because of my age (14) my doctor doesn't want to give me birth control, just incase it messes with my hormones. Whenever I get my period, the pain is so bad, I can barely walk and I've thrown up because of it about 3 times now. The only thing that actually works to help ease the pain in ANY way is via hot drinks. It feels so awful whenever somebody dismisses it as 'not that bad' because of how painful it is for me.
I got prescribed birth control a little younger than that and it legit changed my life, did better in school and I could focus better. Stopped missing class and didn't have to go to the ER anymore (my dad thought I had appendicitis or something). I know it can be intimidating but straight up demand a different doctor/second opinion. You are your best advocate and women are often dismissed when it comes to pain. You have to demand for them to listen to you, and be very clear about what you want from them when they ask what brings you in say something like "I want to be put on the birth control pill." if it were me and they ignored me again I would talk to my parents about trying to get a different doctor altogether. However depending where you live (check the laws in your state) you may be able to go to a clinic or an urgent care on your own and ask for help getting on the pill. I'm so sorry that you're being ignored, that's not okay or productive. My heart goes out to you!
Maybe your doctor should look into the possibility of you having endometriosis. I’ve heard that periods are very very painful if you have endometriosis. But doctors seem not always recognise it if someone has it?!
i have struggled with extremely painful and irregular periods since middle school (vomiting from pain is something that i'm unfortunately familiar with) and i only got on birth control recently at the age of 19. i was pretty optimistic about taking them, but my pains have only worsened and i started getting symptoms that i never had before. i also struggle with dysphoria and dysmorphia, which have taken an extra toll on me i'd personally advise you to hold off on pills for a couple of years more and (if possible) get opinions of a couple of different doctors before starting with them (especially if you happen to still be virgin at the time). most of my friends had little to no issues while they were taking pills, but it's ultimately impossible to predict how your body will react to them
Fuck that shit. GET A GYNO! I also have intensely painful periods and they were ridiculously irregular like no period for months or bleeding for 2-3 weeks straight, never becoming self regulating even years after starting. My family and doctor were also opposed to birth control due to the idea of sex but my doctor did recognize it as an option. So I got a gynecologist. She put me on birth control immediately (at age 14). She’s still my same gyno and I’ve recently been diagnosed with endometriosis. Birth control was so damn helpful for me and did make life a lot better but the pain unfortunately just keeps getting worse.
"Your uncle Steve" scared me cus I DO have an uncle Steve and he's an awful man. I also wouldn't be surprised if he had no real knowledge of women's anatomy.
I've met so many men that think periods are like having to pee. One man even looked at me with a gross face and asked me if I was incontinent... Health class pls
Bro- if I could turn my period off I would, I've had people genuinely be terrified looking at me because they thought I was DYING! I was pale, was throwing up every hour, could barely walk and no meds would work. And that's on a normal day- Honestly, some people have never been in excruciating amounts of pain and it shows.
As a woman, I’ve heard from a lot of other people that periods shouldn’t hurt that much even if your male doctors say it’s normal. It’s not. It might take a while but you deserve to find a doctor who will help you.
people’s obliviousness to women’s bodies is astounding. today i had to explain to a guy in my class what gestation meant and he thought i only knew that cause im pregnant (i am not nor do i plan to be i’m only in high school and don’t want kids.) i was so shocked and then he said he didn’t know that cause he’s not a girl, like im not either dude i just paid attention in biology💀
I have been accused of being a boy só often, because dudes did not pay attention in school and were convinced that 'girls never get armpithair' or leghair. And as someone that shaves, but just doesn't bother during winter, in gymclass I was the only one with slightly hairy legs. The _drama_ that they put in, once they 'found out' that you grow hair on your legs, is astonishing. I think he still thinks I'm a man.
All of the period ones make me laugh especially hard now, as I got a hysterectomy earlier this year. I haven't had a period in months, and it's been so freaking liberating. Like... I literally, as soon as I was recovered, found every period product I owned (except my cute period panties I bought at a con, they're super comfy) and threw them out with extreme prejudice. I got the procedure for a lifesaving reason, but getting rid of my period was a bonus. My period was so bad that I had already been considering it, and it had turned out that it was related to the condition that required it. My favorite part is all of the people who are like, "Aren't you going to regret not being able to have kids?" And I'm like, "Honey, I'm in my 30s and decided not to have them over a decade ago. I haven't regretted it yet, don't know why you'd think I'd regret it now." It helps that I'm asexual and repulsed by the idea of anyone touching me in any intimate way, so the only way I'd have kids in the first place was by birthing the next messiah.
I think you're my twin. I'm so happy for you! I did the same thing, disposing of everything with violence in my heart. I really wanted to watch my uterus burn, but the hospital has rules or whatever. I've never wanted kids, never changed my mind, and never regretted it. I wish I'd had it done sooner, but doctors didn't take it seriously enough. Mine was life saving in that I would have k/lled myself if I was forced to live with it. The idea that people who don't exist are more important than real women in real pain, is obscenely cruel and asinine. Anyway, enjoy your freedom!
Yeah, it's so crazy lol. Like some people don't want to have kids, which is COMPLETELY FINE, and people act like they're crazy. But also, they act like being pregnant is the only way someone can have kids, should they want them. Like, adoption exists??
That would make things a lot more exciting though, if we were supposed to hysterically scream. Imagine how serious our periods would get taken if we come out of the bathroom, crying and sobbing, covered in blood from head to toe, while screeching; "BABIES! MY BABIES! THEY'RE IN PIECES AND ARE FALLING OUT OF ME! OH NO! WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! HELP ME, I HAVE CRAMPS!' That would certainly make sure no man would ever dare to say we 'are being overdramatic' about it. Imagine the chocolate....
And even nurturing can become abusive if done wrong. I know someone who (arguably had a horrible life) and then projected the missing 'love' onto her boy and used him to get back at her husband. Now he was crippled with the weight of her sadness and her expectations to be the 'man of the house' and she was constantly controlling his life, reading his mail, making sure he was 'okay' but thereby controlling his every move. She was focussing all her 'love' on him, but this was no longer love, this was now a controlling kindof love and a desperation that came from all the hurt and all the cheating that the husband had done.
With all love to my son, having him transformed me into an angry, maladapted, shrieking sociopath. I mean, how many times do you really need to explain that trash goes into the trash bin? I actually don't have my Therapist on speed dial...I became one 😕
Yeah Candace is def projecting her own harsh realization of what "motherhood" is like. What must her reaction be when her baby cries, can you even imagine lol. All she has left is the ego boost she gets from being awarded the brand of Mother TM.
The book though with glue triggered me so much. It's so dangerous and stupid. How the hell do people actually not know how the human body works. It makes sense to not understand as a kid who's learning or someone who doesn't have access to such information, but something tells me these are people who are fully capable of googling the correct information.
It's why dystopian horror stories like the Handmaid's Tale specifically feature mentions of unscientific and superstitious beliefs replacing science. Atrocities are committed when people use misinformation and call it "science".
There might be a safer way to do it with a specific kind of glue, but I don't know much about that, and honestly there's better ways to do what they're trying to do as a very temporary thing. That said, no one should be doing that without having a very good idea of what they're doing since that's extreme edge play kink stuff and a lot can go wrong if you don't know what you're doing. Not that that's ever stopped borderline vanillas from choking during rough sex but... eh. That's on them.
Superglue is dangerous stuff in general. Whatever you put it on 9 times out of 10 does not come off. People have to go to the doctor when they accidentally glue their fingers together. What happened in that book is likely life altering
tw: reference to kinda gross animal biology. tldr, the writer is nasty but also very wrong about terminology. . . . . . . . if the author is trying to reference what I think he is, it isnt called a seminiferous plug. seminiferous plug is a thing that reptiles get when their bits are tucked up inside them and dead cell debris hardens inside it and its supposed to come out when the lizard relieves itself. most often talked about in bearded dragons and geckos what the author is talking about is usually just called a mating plug, something commonly seen in animals like rodents, spiders, pigs, etc to essentially seal the female up for a time to keep another male out of her. these are two *very* different things. I'm sure copious amounts of 'googling' was done, but I doubt it was for the information.
@@sketchiscribblr8285 Actually now that I think of it, that idea kinda makes more sense. Still stupid though, humans really don’t need that kind of stuff.
12:00 I love how she talks about fighting biology while "nurturing" isn't even women's biology to begin with (not like she wouldn't sound ridiculous if it was, or we might as well start shitting in the streets because "biology", but the fact that people like that always talk "biology" while knowing nothing about it is so hilarious to me). (Tldr at the end) There is no such thing as "human maternal instinct" in biological terms - instincts are hardwired (unlike drive/commitment) complex (unlike reflexes) patterns of behaviour that activate when they "should" no matter what and the program always finishes (unless forcefully interrupted). In many other animals we often observe how a parent (not always the mother, but fathers too depending on species) that typically nurtures offsprings in that species will accept an offspring that's not their own (when introduced at a respective age/time during nurturing), or even objects. Humans, on the other hand, tend to (tragically) resent adoption as compared to having their own children - that is due to societal conditioning and nothing else. Humans have reflexes (simple immediate responses), needs (eating, sleeping), desires and societal norms. Women and other afab may also experience hormonal spikes during pregnancy (as otherwise it would be an absolutely unbearable experience) which can be mistaken for "awakening of the maternal instincts, just like everyone said!!!". Yet, those hormones kick in specifically *because* of pregnancy, not because they were supposed to at some point in life or because they counteract some mythical evolution of women into psychopaths. Not getting pregnant = no change; getting pregnant = (usually) release of hormones that help survive pregnancy and maybe carry over for a bit after that, then back to how it was (there's obviously more to the body changes after pregnancy but that's another story that has to do with the negative effects of pregnancy, which would only further debunk Candace's point since one is, naturally, way more likely to be an ass when they're suffering). She might be arguing that one becomes more caring as a result, making them a better human, but, firstly, that applies to men/amab too; secondly, it has nothing to do with primitive reproduction biology - it's just experience that can be acquired anywhere, like looking after puppies; lastly, just no - people who never truly wanted children (as in, to care for them, not because they "have to"), will not suddenly become all caring as we know from seeing a huge number of shitty parents. TL;DR: there's no maternal instinct biologically speaking, it's mostly a result of societal pressure/guidelines that have nothing to do with the actual human instincts (which humans hardly have, but that's a different topic). Also whenever you see anyone saying "you can't go against biology" or similar bs, they most likely know exactly nothing about the biology they're talking about (or anything close to it, really).
Also it would be at most a maternal inclination, not even as extreme as she makes it sound, and as you say, there are plenty of examples of people ignoring this maternal instinct or inclination
THIS! I was having a full blown argument in another video’s comment section with another self-proclaimed “psychologist” who supposedly “knows about these things” and they dared to say that maternal instincts are innate and that women innately want to be mothers. There’s plenty of evidence that points to the fact that what we refer to as “maternal instincts” are learned behaviors acquired through explicit instructions. A new mother learns from their own mother, doctors, nurses, and other mothers in their community how to take care of their child properly. Without a nurse or doctor teaching you how to breastfeed a child, you can easily suffocate them with your “instincts.” Saying that maternal instincts are innate is also implying that we were born with a set of caregiving skills, which isn’t true. It also implies that women feel an instant connection with their child, which also isn’t true. New mothers can take from a few days up to several months to feel affection towards their child. The “maternal instincts” that people keep referring to is built upon years of care, affection and deep connection between a mother and a child. Believing and spreading the myth of maternal instincts is extremely harmful to young mothers. It pressures women into becoming a mother when they don’t want to or when they’re not ready for a child just because they are in the prime age for birth and they, as women, are “supposed to bear children because that’s biology.” That reasoning is bullshit. Modern human isn’t governed by biology alone, there are also mental and emotional well-being, socioeconomic status, political state where they live, etc. It also pushes a lot of new mothers into bad mental states when they come to the realization that they don’t know what to do with their child without guidance and that they haven’t felt that instant connection with the child. Some people like to talk about biology and how we are “in control of it” as if it’s the only thing that matters in the modern world, but then refuse to acknowledge that other people have autonomy over their biology in many situations, for example, in abortion and child-birth.
@@skykaneshiro5984 completely agree, thanks a lot for adding that! Thinking of how much damage this pseudoscience rhetoric has done to this day is terrifying. He legitimately looked me in my eyes and said "What does that have to do with going to the bathroom so often?!" Had to break this poor boy's worldview and explain how periods and tampons work and that since I have PCOS, extremely heavy flows and am doing a very physically demanding job, I can't just leave a tampon in there all day or else I'd be getting blood all over myself, around me, and eventually the floor. He thought that periods were light for everyone and that they either used one tampon a period or if they've had kids then they use a pad and that cramps were as painful as getting a sore muscle after working out

Every time I get a Candace Owens ad or see her face I want to throw up because of how disgusting she is. I believe your statement is correct
I kinda feel bad for the kid.
@Wynn unfortunately she wont be the first sociopath to have kids and also definitely wont be the last
Eep….Also just wanna put in my two cents.
But doctors seem not always recognise it if someone has it?!
i have struggled with extremely painful and irregular periods since middle school (vomiting from pain is something that i'm unfortunately familiar with) and i only got on birth control recently at the age of 19. i was pretty optimistic about taking them, but my pains have only worsened and i started getting symptoms that i never had before. i also struggle with dysphoria and dysmorphia, which have taken an extra toll on me
i'd personally advise you to hold off on pills for a couple of years more and (if possible) get opinions of a couple of different doctors before starting with them (especially if you happen to still be virgin at the time). most of my friends had little to no issues while they were taking pills, but it's ultimately impossible to predict how your body will react to them
My mom had endometriosis and she would puke a lot too. I'm sorry to hear you're struggling. Hopefully you can maybe see a specialist soon.

Honestly, some people have never been in excruciating amounts of pain and it shows.
As a woman, I’ve heard from a lot of other people that periods shouldn’t hurt that much even if your male doctors say it’s normal. It’s not. It might take a while but you deserve to find a doctor who will help you.
@@shankaka_99 Yesss! Don't settle!

I had kids at a younger age than Candace Owens and I'm *still* a bitter, maladapted, shrieking sociopath with my therapist on speed dial.
people’s obliviousness to women’s bodies is astounding. today i had to explain to a guy in my class what gestation meant and he thought i only knew that cause im pregnant (i am not nor do i plan to be i’m only in high school and don’t want kids.) i was so shocked and then he said he didn’t know that cause he’s not a girl, like im not either dude i just paid attention in biology💀
In all honesty, you sound like IF you ever birth the next Messiah, that is going to be one really cool Jesus.
Yeah, it's so crazy lol. Like some people don't want to have kids, which is COMPLETELY FINE, and people act like they're crazy. But also, they act like being pregnant is the only way someone can have kids, should they want them. Like, adoption exists??
if period blood somehow had bits of baby in it somehow in some universe why wouldn't we act like it's normal? what else are we meant to do💀?
"o my god o no!!! who cut my babies up!!! this is so sad(/scary/disgusting/whatever-these-cis-men-expect-people-with-uteruses-to-feel)!!!"
As if woman who just occasionally clone them self or have unfertilized babys (like chickens eggs)
HELP ME, I HAVE CRAMPS!'
That would certainly make sure no man would ever dare to say we 'are being overdramatic' about it. Imagine the chocolate....
I wonder if that dude somehow mixed up periods and miscarriages
“Women need children because women are meant to nurture” laughs in abused child
Oof yeah same. Why bring me into the world only to torture me??
And even nurturing can become abusive if done wrong.
I know someone who (arguably had a horrible life) and then projected the missing 'love' onto her boy and used him to get back at her husband.
Now he was crippled with the weight of her sadness and her expectations to be the 'man of the house' and she was constantly controlling his life, reading his mail, making sure he was 'okay' but thereby controlling his every move.
She was focussing all her 'love' on him, but this was no longer love, this was now a controlling kindof love and a desperation that came from all the hurt and all the cheating that the husband had done.
I mean - the vibrating bra could actually help with blocked milk ducts so "unblock the breast" could refer to that in a badly translated way :D
Omg your trash bin comments really gets me. I swear it’s only men and young boys who have no concept of how the bins work in our house.
What happened in that book is likely life altering
tw: reference to kinda gross animal biology.
tldr, the writer is nasty but also very wrong about terminology.

if the author is trying to reference what I think he is, it isnt called a seminiferous plug. seminiferous plug is a thing that reptiles get when their bits are tucked up inside them and dead cell debris hardens inside it and its supposed to come out when the lizard relieves itself. most often talked about in bearded dragons and geckos
what the author is talking about is usually just called a mating plug, something commonly seen in animals like rodents, spiders, pigs, etc to essentially seal the female up for a time to keep another male out of her. these are two *very* different things. I'm sure copious amounts of 'googling' was done, but I doubt it was for the information.
@@sketchiscribblr8285 Actually now that I think of it, that idea kinda makes more sense. Still stupid though, humans really don’t need that kind of stuff.
Ah yes, cishet men telling us how our bodies work! Lovely 😌
Just a normal Wednesday :)

@@skykaneshiro5984 yes! I've seen people saying "I know about these things" when pretending to represent nearly all fields of science, from physicists to economists, and then demonstrate that they have no knowledge of even the middle school course, let alone the uni degree they claim to have. It's bizarre that people who actually have some specialist knowledge will be as humble as you, while the ones that bullshit the most will get all the clout despite being unable to comprehend the very basics so much that they have to use "science is just corrupted by the woke" argument. "It's Illegal to be mean to me" Would you say we have to be nice to you cause...it's the law? 👀
Please PLEASE make a part 2 and make one about males anatomy.
I had to explain to my trans gf that I can’t just hold period blood like pee 😭😭 she claims it wasn’t clear in health class when they explained it ☠️
When that guy said "Firstly I can't afford it" I burst out laughing. Posting his small business L's for free online.
I just looked at the thumbnail of the video and said “this is going to be a fun one, isn’t it” lol

*sobs while getting period on thanksgiving and cramps making me is SO SO much pain*
Oh how happy this channel makes me
worst timing for my period story, 3 ish years ago i was in the middle of family christmass while we were opening gifts and i was sitting on my grandmas WHITE COUCH when i sad up and noticed. however all me and my female cousins were the best and we all took turns sitting in that spot so that nobody would see it. so if someone had to get up to grab food/bathroom one of my other cousins would tag in and sit in said spot. real female solidarity all around. i did tell my grandma of course, and she was super understanding and was able to get the stain out afterwards
13:03 Good girl gives me the ick, good boy makes me happy af
