- Is it a crazy idea to create an indoor garden grow room in your loft or attic? Probably-but that doesn't stop us trying! However, the space directly beneath the roof presents some extra environmental control challenges. Here are some things to consider for an attic grow room.
Before folks cry about how fast he talks maybe they could change playback speed to 75%. I appreciate him talking fast. I get a lot of info quickly. Thanks Everest!
You're The Only Guy I know growing Veggies in their Attic! Was expecting DANK
+Anthony Quinn I am your consistently unpredictable friend!
good videos man very knowledgeable been a lot of help!
quite a bit of stairs! i would be interested to see you do an entry level set up in that back room! looks good
Do you ever sleep Everest? Another great video and easy to understand, applause 👏
Another great video m8 bang on great info 👌
I want to see someone turn their attic into a greenhouse removing the roof and put glass or plastic panels
I'm an architecture student. I'm letting you know right now that I'm going to use this idea for a concept. lol
Another great vid and I really like the reno on the attic.
I put in a attic fan on a thermostat , it gets hot up there even in winter where I live and it vents the humidity out too. It was about $300 and the attic needed it regardless . If you have to use AC in the house in summer it will pay for its self.
stoked for it
keep the good stuff comming 👍
Cannot wait!
I am new here but I already love your videos :) thanks for the informative and fun videos!
All looking good.
Thanks Geoffrey. I appreciate all your support from day one! :)
Awsome upload! im actually in the process of an attic conversion right now. ive tried the wife and kids method...no bueno lmao
For vegetables ?
How much knowledge can you possibly drop the people of You Tube? Will it ever end....? I hope not.
are those tomato or are you growing speed?
CANT WAIT TO SEE YOUR DWC EXPERIMENT!!!
+Let's Grow thanks LG. Progress is slow but should have an outcome in a month or two.
Good stuff, like the house, beams tiles on roof and angles of house. Good job on all insulation. An yes you can train kids. Lol
+Dank Nugz Beast of the East Children are delightfully malleable beings with a flexible sense of normality. May their days be filled with love, kindness and patience and their nights permeated with the gentle hum of a nearby air pump. Lol.
Everest Fernandez sweet
kids are adaptable and adapt well :-)
U pack a lot of info I. Little time 👍👍👍
keep em comming man
London.City. Genetics Will do amigo :) thanks for stopping by!
Hey Everest, can you put together a video on smart meters and how they read your household's electrical usage? All indoor gardeners imho should firmly grasp this topic. Please and Thank you.
Headbutting practice sounds fun more than it looks.
Switch to LEDs!!! Coooooooler!
I wish I had an attic! I'm trying to grow indoors but I don't have of space, yet. Working on converting some of my living room.. Who needs a traditional living room? Ha ha!
Jan King Amigo, by adding plants to your living room it truly becomes one. Have you considered a grow tent?
Everest Fernandez Yes, actually that is one of the things I'll need to work into my living room. It will be a smaller one or two, I don't have a lot of room...
That seems like a lot of expense I just ran a water line some radiant wall board heaters and a row of sky light's house already had ridge vent and a power vent for extremely hot days everything grows fine
Great videos! Keep inspiring.
+TheNightwalker247 Thanks amigo - needed to hear your positive words today!
Well I haven't gone into my attic for10 years. Actually I'm afraid to open that little square trap door. I envision mutant spiders the size of my Pomeranian living up there! lol Luckily for me my oldest son has moved out and I have a spare room. I suppose I could apply many of these same principles to making that a grow room.
lol right? who needs a son when you can have a grow room instead?
Right! lol And I already have plans for my younger son's room to be my sewing room. I'm helping him save money to move out because I'm super nice! ;0)
Everest, does the cost of it all, outweigh the produce you get?
Good grows pay for themselves with decent profits first time around , but once you get going 2nd 3rd round and beyond is profit all day long bro 💯
I know this comment is old and you probably already know this but I read and replied anyway lol 🤟
Everest where is the best place to bring in fresh air in to my upstairs Garage? Thanks! Great Videos to!!!
well that is exactly what i had in mind
I prefer my basement it has water and drainage.
Hey man can you please do a video how you keep your DWC slime and brown alge free I see you have have bright white roots I keep battling root rot and brown slime/alge
fucking sick.
Wow, you assume everyone is living in new, crappy homes ! I am looking into replacing my 100 year old, 3 story roof, into greenhouse panels. Running water, and better wiring, as well as a 4 story dummy lift. Forget the light setup ! I want to be prepared for all possible issues, which includes a sealed floor, with drainage .
leaks never occur. never. attics are a great idea.
Heheheheh ....
Hey any tips for raisin seedlings in shade house and green house grows OUTSIDE haha
Isnt it really bad to breath in insulation
How expensive was it to add ventilation and a water source to your attic/to generally finish your attic?
Ventilation, if no other exit exists, can be created with a vented roof tile (a special adapted roof tile designed for this express purpose) - the maximum duct diameter is usually 150mm or 6" though so you may need multiple ports. Getting water up to my attic was very easy-although I needed an inline pump to increase pressure to make my RO system work properly. You shouldn't really need to spend more that a few hundred bucks, especially if you can carry out the work yourself.
thought you were growing the *stuff* in the attic
Would 3 600 watt light on the loft melt the snow on the roof?
Invest in quality roof insulation to avoid such inefficiencies! You really can't overdo insulation. Also, consider air cooled hoods to remove some of that convection heat. Good luck!
A tiled floor in an attic, that's a 1st
nise...👌
you're fuckin awesome dude!
+AirborneFury2/321AFAR You'd better be subbed!
So in other words if you don’t have thousands of dollars to redo your attic this isn’t an option.
like if you just watch his videos for weed purposes LOL
You spend all that money to grow lettuce ?
So that's why you haven't been uploading a lot.
Yes! Busy behind the scenes. I try and get stuff done and THEN make videos, rather than presume you're interested in following every laborious step of the way. Suffice to say, I'm getting set up to make a ton of new content-so thanks for your patience and support!
Can I come to shop at your place for for some grow gear please?!? Seems like you have lots of shit that I could use LOL
Slow down brother!
Time to grow weed!😊
Bruh how do you live with all that shit
Lots of great info in this series of videos. Unfortunately, the rapid fire sales-"pitchy" speaking makes it too annoying to view the video in its entirety. Please change your speaking style so as not to be so aggravating.
+jennifer mullins Thanks for letting me know Jennifer.
U sound like your 18 but look like your 50. Just sayin
I hope that the youthful sound of my voice helped to put you at ease as you stared at the grim manifestation of life's inexorable ageing process.
What a complete waste of money..
The joy my grow room brings me is worth every cent and some.
marc hebert why is it a waste of “money” can’t you see it has the possibility to pay for itself tenfold!!
It also brings the joy of growing real growers know you can’t put a price on that
