Eto is a meal served at festivals, for the birthday celebrant, twins on their "kra da"(soul day). It is also the meal to celebrate all milestones...especially puberty. It is dish that has a perfect ballance between sweet and spicy and amazingly filling. Brides are given et) on their wedding day as it is believed to curb hunger so she can go through the long day. My mum in fact, made my elder sister and I this on our wedding days. I hope you try this❤
Ingredients
6 plantains (combination of ripe and semi ripe)
1 habanero pepper
1 medium onion
3 tablespoon peanut butter
1/2 cup roasted peanuts
1/4 cup palm oil
3-6 eggs
60 grams momene( fermented cured fish)
scallion for garnish
