I’m not sure how I feel about the Hansa expansion. I’ve heard three different examples and I have to say I’m not a fan. Most of the SD3 kits are phenomenal but this new pack seems dry and lifeless. Your playing, however, is still impressive as always! I love the space you leave between the grooves and fills. Always unique and tasteful. Stay healthy brother
mfournier01 Yea I don’t think this is a good representation of Hansa yet as I rushed this,I just wanted to have a quick look which is what this is. I will persevere and hopefully place it a bit better - I really like the octobins I’ve always wanted a go on those :)

There's 3 rooms inthis SDX it 2 are full of room the last one "vocal booth" is indeed really dry but it's made for disco or hip hop maybe a little funk anyway disco on an italian 1961 kit is a good choice :) Personnally i dropped the first one cause it's huge on space and i prefer dry kits :) even the stock lidwig from SD3 are too much roomy for my taste.

hey Steve -trying to down size my studio to a SPD-30 triggering Superior drummer . Any lap top recommendations? I'm basically doing what you are doing, only I have way less space in my studio room. Thanks man!
Hi Tim hmm well i would say most new spec computers should be good enough to handle SD3 - i think it will all be in the soundcard you get (don't rely on the internal computers sound) plenty of RAM and you know how big these SD3 libraries are :) so some good fast storage and away you go! have fun hope that helps
