  • The Iowa Hawkeyes needed a comeback and scored 28 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to beat Indiana en route to Iowa's first ever 9-0 start to a season. This is Gary Dolphin and Ed Podolak's radio call of some of the key plays of the game.

    Only game I was able to make it to that year was the northwestern game. This entire year is still burned into my head

    too bad there is like a 5 second delay from radio to tv, otherwise id mute the tv and listen to it on the radio while watching on tv

    They tried the same roll out a week later vs Northwestern that worked for a 90 yard TD here. But Corey Wooten was waiting. By the time the play was over Stanzi had lost the ball in his own endzone, Northwestern recovered it for a TD, and Stanzi had suffered a high ankle sprain that ended his regular season-and Iowa's chances at bigger and better things

      They didn’t “try” that rollout a week later, they have been running it for 25 years.

    How did they call the two TDs that IU got screwed out of? Worst homer job I have ever seen.
