Not bad. In fact, very good looking. Three main drawbacks: 1. Only a two litre engine… which has less torque than a hairdryer. 2. Really nasty, cheap plastics at the bottom of the door bins and around the rear view mirror. 3. The steering wheel is off-centre… because, just like the S-Class Mercedes, it’s designed to be left hand drive, and when made for RHD countries, Volvo (and Mercedes) are too tight-fisted to shift stuff around the engine bay to keep the wheel dead centre. (Yet, somehow, BMW and Audi manage to pull it off.)
The 2 litre engine isn't too bad, and certainly as good as equivalents from Audi, Mercedes or BMW. This said, there should have been a 2.5 five pot, or 3 litre six, which would have transformed the car (though I doubt projected sales justified it). The interior quality is nice, but you're right, some evidence of cost cutting in places, and former Ford ownership. I've not noticed the steering offset to be honest. Thanks for the comments; I'll let you know how I get on with it.
A few months ago I purchased a 2019 V90 T5 with 14,000 miles (one prior owner). It is in great condition and drives well, but it has a bit of a problem with water intrusion, likely from a failed rear sunroof panel weatherstrip. This is repairable, of course, but I suspect that it will be somewhat costly. This is a known issue, so I suggest that you check for water beneath the spare tire following a heavy rain.
@@alexnogues4246 This is not an issue related to low mileage, but to the car's age and a design flaw involving the rear sunroof weatherstrip. I am prepared to put up with some issues in exchange for the car's other attributes. It drives well enough for me (especially after putting up with a mediocre SUV before buying this) and the styling, inside and out, is exceptional for a wagon.

that does not scream "good build quality" after just 14k miles....

Nice purchase - prefer that to the blue Range…
What causes you to do mega-miles? Work or hobby? Cheers
Clients all over the country. 800 or more miles a week...
Good video would be good to know what m you use to get rid of the smell - as nothing I’ve ever used has worked
It was a product called AirVidox Car Odour Eliminator. I bought it on Amazon
