i feel like the price of the studio display is outrageous, because the old apple thunderbolt display was on 999. i also feel like apple should make a smaller version of the studio display, maybe like 24 inches.
I am not sure what to do, myself. I am existing iMac27 user. Increasing the size and resolution would drive up the price. This isn't a consumer display. It's a prosumer display hence why it was launched with the mac studio and comes with reference modes
@@chidorirasenganz I do not think that it is not prosumer. Apple launch a new monitor bigger screen and better resolution and much more reasonable price. That's all.

Hi, Thanks for the awesome review. Regarding sound differences, hard to tell from the video, but seemed the iMac had a more lo-fi sound with more pronounced midrange - more of a triangular shaped EQ, in other words. And the Studio had little more bass, with less of a mid hump. Wondering if this might sound accurate as far as the EQ character?
Great review. Thanks! It seems the Studio display is an expensive downgrade over the iMac 27 5K - I'll keep using my iMac for now, sorry to Apple: the Studio is not good enough for the money (you need to add the price of a MacStudio, Mini or MacBook to the display). I'd love to have a new setup, but I'm not in a hurry.

I checked them all out at Best Buy and all side by side and the only thing I noticed (display wise) was the size more or less...but then again, its like with the iMac M1, you get the newer chip but it's 24" vs iMac 2020 5k but also the studio display is a bit better than both of them but it's a monitor by itself and isn't like an all in one. This makes the decision tough seeing which one is best. Your thoughts? PS: I do have a Macbook Pro but I've always a bigger screen, whether it's an iMac or even using Apple's monitor(studio display).
