I sometimes hear Amish in a negative light. I’m thinking about a yellow lab as an pet dog. I see them for sale in Pennsylvania. But I think the area is Amish area. Should I consider a yellow lab born In Canada and sold in Lancaster Pa area? I have heard that English labs generally have a short energy spurt then want to rest. I might think that is a plus for a dog as a pet. Yes or no? And last, is a yellow lab considered to be an English lab? Thanks
do your research on the breeder and then look up the dogs pedigree. we try to support breeders who do things in way that do right by the breed, the dog, the puppies and the familys buying the dog. as for the english/american, there's tons of opinions out there but that is where the research into the parents and breeder can help determine what you think the pup will be like, plus all the training and effort you put into the dog. and for the yellow being english, yellow is the color of the lab, it doesn't mean the pedigree. thanks, i hope this helps a little! it's kind of a detailed question to answer via youtube comment lol
