    "The Unspoken Bond"
Some things are better left unsaid. A comfortable silence whispered over the unspoken promise exchanged when your eyes first met. Together you share a grueling conviction. He rewards your dedication with a persistent plea for your companionship. If only he knew the feeling was mutual. On that dark, crisp morning you embark to fulfill his inherent purpose. Four earnest eyes scan the horizon with a concealed intensity when that Lone Duck interrupts the desolate sky. The crack of your gun unleashes a frantic hunger to retrieve his fallen prize. He returns, fully saturated and satisfied, with the fragrance of gunpowder generously lingering. Together you celebrate a promise kept.
Your binding faith is one that most can’t comprehend. They neglect the depth of the instinctive understanding you have for each other. Like the exuberant validation you shared in the field with that first Lone Duck. It’s feelings like this that remind you they’re reserved for a select few. There’s no need to fill them with empty words. Some things are better left unsaid.

So much value in using not perfect dogs while teaching us. Thanks.

This is a GREAT VIDEO of handling.
    Most realistic I’ve seen.
Your realistic display shows the frustrations of training a dog with ZERO experience at the casting drill.
Even better, your video displays how AWESOME it is when the dog starts to “BUY IN” and shows confidence.

its so reassuring to see professional trainers dealing with the same struggles the rest of us do, and then seeing how you work through them helps more than anything. definately gonna try this method out with my 1 yo lab, the way I've been trying hasn't been working nearly as well.

So I will be doing the same pile scenario, but my dog will only grab one, bring it back but refuse to go get the other 12 I have out there. Unless the training toy is thrown. All same style and color of toy. How do I change that so he can go grab the rest?

Needs to be properly force fetched and forced to a pile - we have an online FF course and our patreon community. Link in description for the info

He’s running cuz he knows he’s about to get corrected 😂😂😂
I love the fair correction with neutral tone and not a ton of emotion

Its refreshing to see the struggles we all go through and working through it. Sometimes it feels like it looks likes a finished dog doing started work from others.

Glad you're back on RUclips. I've really enjoyed your videos! I have a GSP I'm in the process of training using Standing Stone's methods but these vids make me think that maybe I need a lab next! 😅

I have no idea if you put out anything of value because of the overwhelming number of times you tell the dog to sit. Remiinded me of a parent that counts for their kids. I'm sure you are better than this specific video comes across to me.
You can run your kennel and deal with your clients how you want. For me...I would never allow you to grab my dog and lift him off the ground multiple times when he would not sit. You may not be aware but you told that dog to "sit" 187 times. Maybe teach basic obedience first. Before you get mad, I have worked and been around the most successful gundog trainers in the country and have never seen this before. This is the video PETA would grab and use against all of us.
"...six times he screwed up and had no idea what he was doing and all of a sudden..." SMH
    Good luck

I am just working with my one year old field golden. for the most part using Stowski program. I really really like Evan Graham method of starting this better. the dog or pup is on a line which prevents him and stops him from making mistakes.
