Sorry for the delay on this one. On a 7 hour drive to Memphis & Johnny Barks had to edit in the car. Working off some limited WIFI in Arkansas. WE AIN'T STOPPING THOUGH.
Stay safe, do your best to get these out, we will be waiting to watch, share, and donate when we can for each one. Cheers Tom from your favorite cheese head wearing Elf in Cleveland.
Tree is right. I would have stayed in Pittsburgh if I could have found a teaching job. It is an amazing city and the Steelers are an amazing team! Saw the Steelers play in 3 rivers, and would love to see them again at Heinz (it is never going to be Aciture, or however you spell it). Now you are an honorary Yinzer!. Stillers gonna Superbowl!!!!! Go Steeler Nation!!!
As a Bengals fan, I'm going to put aside my distaste for the Steelers for a minute and say good on you Steelers. That donation might not be much for a NFL team but I'm sure it means a lot to this entire fundraiser. Now that you guys set the tone by donating, the bar has been set. Hopefully more teams donate to the cause now. We can go back to being enemies after this stadium fundraiser tour.
You can hate someone and also respect them, you know. It is the best kind of rivalry, in my opinion, to have an enemy that you must destroy, but will regret doing it to.
what tree said about people coming back is 100% true. My mom's entire family was born and raised there and almost all of them stuck around and I still go at least 3-4 times a year and it's one of my favorite places in the world. Thanks for what your doing Tom and good luck the rest of the way
Can’t wait for my husband, West Virginia boy whose been a DIE HARD STEELERS FAN his entire life, to see this. Great organization. Was wonderful to see the Yinzer Urinating Tree there. Tom’s mission for St Judes with Johnny Barks filming it all has turned into an amazingly exciting journey. Thanks guys.
As a bills fans, talking to Steelers fans throughout the games we meet up it's actually pretty heartwarming. A lot of similarity with the Steelers and Bills that there this mesh you can't help but feel a sense of comradery Thank you Tom for the chaotic good you do.
Thank you for this amazing tribute to our city ❤️ You saw us as we really are, from Paul and Chrissy out the gate…we love people in Pittsburgh, we love football, and we love life! 🖤💛
Die hard Browns fan here and I have to admit it looks like the Ravens, Steelers, and with the brief preview at the end the Bengals did this right. Big old loud BOO to the Browns for their lack of involvement. Never going to cheer for the black and gold but overall I'll grant them some respect for their efforts on this and working with Tom on this amazing cause. Well done.
If I was a Browns fan it would hurt even more knowing that about a week after they blew him off, Brownie the Elf went on The Pat McAfee Show (a show that has thrown a lot of shade at the Browns for that mascot btw) to unveil their new Dawg Pound logo right after Grossi’s appearance.
I love whenever this city is highlighted. I moved here last October and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. I love this city, I love these teams, I love these people (except during early morning traffic), and I would be content if I stayed near this area my entire life. Also, Tom, you’re an absolute legend. Please never stop doing the damn thing.
Just curious, where did you move from?? I left 35 yrs ago and feel sad about it. But I live in Florida. No snow. But stayed really because family is all here now. I’d have gone back in a heartbeat. There are a lot of Pittsburghers here. We have Steelers bars where if your drunk you swear your back there. Lol
So cool to see you loving the city, I'm a Canadian Steelers fan, my dad's family is all from Pittsburgh, it's such a cool city just to walk around, especially since driving there as an outsider is always a pain. Last time I got down there I got to see my first Steelers game, and not even the Jags beating them 33-9 with 5 Ben INTs could ruin it.
Thank you for showing the love, beauty, and history of pittsbutgh. We are definaly a city, team, and fanbase built on our history and it's amazing to see someone coming in from the outiside seeing that aswell. Keep doing what you're doing Tom Pittsburgh will welcome you back anytime.
So glad i got an opportunity to contribute some footage to this masterpiece. Pittsburgh is an amazing city, and I'm so glad we got to experience it with you!
I’ve been a huge Steelers fan all of my life, for 14 years! And I’m so glad that the Steelers organization donated to your amazing cause for St. Jude! The Steelers are such an amazing franchise and I’m glad you got to experience the Stadium, and their franchise history! As always, Go Steelers!!
you're awesome, Tom! it was so cool to meet you and my brother and i both wish you the best of luck on the rest of your trip! (and of course will be patiently awaiting your return)
You couldn't remove the smile off my face with a blowtorch and I'm happy Tree showed up in support, but then somehow I knew he would. As you mentioned, Steelers and Packers fans are a lot alike with being two of the greatest organizations in the league with two of the best fanbases in the league. Let's go and Stillers gahna Super Bahl!
My mom & grandmother have been diehard Steelers fans their entire lives. My mom has been to the stadium many times & she loves it. Sadly my grandmother passed away last year but some of my greatest memories was watching the Steelers play & watching the pure excitement and joy on her face when they would win. Tom you really did an amazing job showing off Pittsburgh & I love all the 30 in 30 videos. Thank you Tom; mad love to you man.
Tom, not only are you my favorite NFL RUclipsr, what you have sacrificed in your own personal life makes you one of the most selfless people I've ever seen. It's so amazing to learn more about what went into your planning for this project while watching your clip on the Pat McAfee Show today. Tom continuing his great journey across the USA in the name of St. Jude. Thank you for your contributions, Tom. We’re supporting you every step of the way!
I.. am in the weird place of that my family is from Pittsburgh, I was born there, my father raised me a Steelers fan, but when we moved out of the area, I kinda got pulled and swept into the local football team when I became a teenager in that rebellious, "need to find *my* identity" phase (Eagles fans are one of a kind as I'm sure anyone who lives in/near Philly can say and their passion is hella infectious), so even though I am an Eagles fan and I whole-heartedly support the team, it's a weird feeling when I see Steelers-related stuff, because it nostalgically reminds me of my childhood and watching those games when I was, like, six years old. It brings back memories of being a eight year old sitting in front of the TV, my parents cheering for Kordell Stewart and that team... watching the Bus rumble. Feeling the pain of that AFC Championship game against the Broncos... I've been back to the city many times, each time as nostalgic as the previous. Every time I go back, I try to walk down the strip, grab a sandwich from Primanti, order a Vinny pie (my grandparents lived in Penn Hills, so it wasn't far away), reminisce upon going to Kennywood (my parents' apartment was about a ten minute drive away, so I grew up thinking everyone lived near a theme park... lmao). I haven't been back since 2014 (went there for a specific concert, Distant Worlds, and wanted to go to the performance in Pittsburgh rather than Philly, just to make the trip out there), but this video... it makes me miss it. I still have a pennant of Three Rivers Stadium somewhere and I still have my Terrible Towel. Pittsburgh and the Steelers fanbase truly are special and a part of me will always miss 'em. (It's also funny that I've been part of two of the most passionate fanbases out there. Whenever fans of one team from one part of my life ask me about fans of the other team from the other part of my life, I just jokingly say "Pittsburgh is a drinking city with a football problem; Philly is a football city with a drinking problem", lmao. And I don't mean that disrespectfully.. Pittsburgh transplants have their pride in Iron City Beer and will buy it from any place that stocks it. Man, I'm feeling really nostalgic right now...)
As someone who has been a Steelers fan for over 2 decades it is so good to see someone tell part of their story. When the mines shut down, Pittsburgh as a city could have died. But no, they came together and brought themselves higher. My heart and soul will always go out to Pittsburgh.STEELERSGOTOSUPERBOWL!!!!!!!
I love your content. I can't get enough of your "fan reacts to". This year I'm broke, I have less then $100 in my bank account, when normally I have over $3000 so I can't give you any money. But hopefully next year when you do your chaotic good charity event I'm doing better I will give what I can.
My god tom, you really know how to give a yinzer the feels. That was a beautiful tribute to my team, and especially my hometown. Was at the fan event and I had no doubt we would come out in force, showing that the grossi posse Pittsburgh chapter is loyal to the end. I'm so happy you got to see and experience why I love being a resident of pittsburgh so much, we're not as big or as glitzy as a NY or LA, but we're a special place to be in so many ways, with the most wonderful people anywhere. To us tom, you're one of us now, you're a yinzer thru and thru. Come back soon, November 12th preferably when the pack come to town, cause there is nothing like a steeler GameDay. Safe travels my friend, all the best with the st Jude fundraising, and as always, HERE WE GO STEELERS HERE WE GO!👏 👏🖤💛
I've lived here my whole life and I've actually very much been surprised at how many people from other cities within a 8 Hour driving range take two or three day trips to Pittsburgh in the summertime it's literally Non-Stop. Apparently Pittsburgh holds a dear place and a lot of people's hearts. Come see us !
Following along your journey, it's giving "build it and they will come" vibes. Took a big leap of faith and look at all that's come of it! Congrats Tom! Very inspiring! Go Broncos! 😁🧡💙🏈
As a Chiefs fan, loved and appreciated the story about the guy who went froom KC to Pittsburgh. Always respected the Steelers and their fans! Can't wait to see you in KC!
Tom having all these little set backs and still being able to get to the next cities is good for them being on the east side of the Mississippi. But wait until they get to the AFC and NFC west side... I'm a Seahawks fan, and the closest team is San Francisco, 800 miles... Hope there is no hiccups on the 24th. See ya there!
As a person who lived in Pittsburgh when I was young, I know what tree means when he says they usually come back. I'm just waiting on my time to go back. Lets go Steelers!
They frustrate me to hell, they cause me to yell at my TV on Sundays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Mondays during the season and then more often then not once or twice in the Spring. But these sorts of things is why I love this team and why Im proud to be the Salty and often times Cynical yinzer I am. Happy you enjoyed being in town Tom, hopefully you stop back in for a certain weekend in November ;) And of course Obligatory.... THE STILLERS ARE GAHNTA DA SUPA BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWL
At 2:55 I saw my seat! I have season tickets and sit in the front row! It’s really cool getting to be that close to the players. Love your work and what you’re doing!
It is getting to the point that I tear up on every one of these. When the Browns were stolen from Cleveland the Rooney family was the only Team to vote against it and fought to get us back. This is a Class Family and do things the right way . You are right on the Beauty of this city . Coming through the tunnels to that view is unreal. The mix between old and new
I was working the pirates game when you were in town Tom, I'm glad you enjoyed my hometown! Next time your in town I hope I can grab a picture or autograph!
I'm not a Steelers fan, but this video had a lot of heart. Almost got me. Steelers' history is undeniable. Father is a fan though, may have to do a trip. Thanks for the insight.
I was the lone Giants fan at the meetup that day, and while actually meeting you I was too star-struck to say much, I want to say what an incredible job you are doing. The entirety of 30-in-30 is such a beautiful undertaking and you are doing such an amazing job. Wish I could have said more in person, but all the best for the rest of the adventure!
I really miss the 'Burgh at times and this video is a pretty good example of why. Its just different there. That small town feel. Glad you enjoyed it there Tom. Go STEELERS!
I’ve only been to Pittsburgh once, and only for a few hours, but this is as great of tribute to the city as I’ve seen. It’s a great city that mixes a unique blue-collar Appalachia attitude with a little bit of east coast industriousness and brashness, and it’s unlike any other place I can think of. Montana, Namath, Marino, Revis, Curtis Martin, Cam Hayward, and Aaron Donald are all from there, not to mention the Steelers own history. I also think they genuinely have the best pure sports stadium in the US in PNC Park, especially if you’re rooting for the visiting team. (Sorry Pittsburgh, you can’t have it all.)
Steelers are that team that are easy to root for and identify with which is easy to see because the fans are everywhere, they know and love football like no one else and get great support from an amazing front office. True champions! signed a humble Ravens fan

Putting in the time during a whirlwind trip. Sleep during July. Grossi Posse!
Stay safe, do your best to get these out, we will be waiting to watch, share, and donate when we can for each one. Cheers Tom from your favorite cheese head wearing Elf in Cleveland.
You all should stop in Fayetteville:')
Glad you agree that the Steelers are going to the Super Bowl, Tom

Really? Steelers 6-2; Bills 0-4 super bowl record. Literally the opposites; best and worse.
@@JNB0723 Naw man, he is just talking about the fans. It is similar, which is true that Bills Mafia is kinda like our Yinzers fan.
Bills Mafia and the Cheeseheads are my two favorite fanbases that are not my own (Steelers).

Sitting in sweden watching this with a wet terrible towel on my head. Im so proud to be a steeler and part of the steeler nation!

Niiiice! As a Ravens fan, this was really cool. I was kinda hoping that “Pittsburgh Dad” would have been available!

Hats off to the Steelers for welcoming you so warmly and donating to the cause 🥳
There's some amazing people in Steeler country
Thank you Tom, you just reminded me why one of the reasons, I’m a Steelers fan and thank you for bringing awareness to Saint Jude’s mission
I'm not a Steelers fan, but this video had a lot of heart. Almost got me. Steelers' history is undeniable. Father is a fan though, may have to do a trip. Thanks for the insight.
Come on down brother. The city is in your blood
Shoutout to the Steelers organization for their donation and hospitality! Well done Pittsburgh 🥰
I detect no lies here
I’m going to the Steelers/Packers game in November. Cannot wait. Thank you for all you are doing Tom. Go Pack Go!!!
Shoutout to Paul and Chrissy in this vid ❤
It might be 12:26 a.m but you better believe I'm going to watch this right now
Steelers are that team that are easy to root for and identify with which is easy to see because the fans are everywhere, they know and love football like no one else and get great support from an amazing front office. True champions!
