      @@sporkyboy2703 Ravens-Steelers rivalry tends to end up in "begrudging respect" territory. Are we ever gonna be best friends? Probably not, but I can respect that the steelers believe in playing tough, physical football and representing their blue collar city in the same way that the Ravens try to do the same. Both teams are examples for the league when it comes to stability at the ownership and coaching levels, and the 4 super bowls between them since the Ravens were created in 1996 shows that approach to be successful.

    Love the "For Mo" dedication at the end, that kid means a lot to Baltimore and Ingraven's right, the Ravens are all about bringing hope and levity to a city that's been through a lot. Lived in Bmore for several years, it's a rough city but the people there are so remarkably genuine and down to earth in a way you don't see in most cities.

It's a shame you never got to meet Mo in person, you would've loved him. Regardless of the rivalry we may have on the field, you've done an *incredible* job of highlighting the fans of each of these teams so far. I'm so happy that every city has been so warm and welcoming to you, and I can't wait for our turn here in Nashville. You're doing such *selfless* work, and you're right; you've worked *so hard* for where you are now. And yet you're *STILL* such a humble and selfless person. You're amazing, Tom. I have always believed you get out of life what you give to others. Tom raising money for good charities has been the backbone of his You Tube channel. You and your good heart earned this Tom and I know the children and their families at St Jude appreciate you and thank you.

    I was not expecting to get emotional during this vlog. Something about seeing you in the Raven's jersey with St Jude's on it with the backdrop of your name on the scoreboard, started the tears. I have a new found admiration & respect for the city of Baltimore and the Ravens for the way they embraced you! I'm so happy and proud of you Tom! Blessings during the rest of your journey!!!

    Thank you tom for honoring Mo. He was a very special fan. Every team has that one person that signifies the team, but mo was the one for us. Every time someone scores a td in the BaltiMOre endzone we all remember the spirit of why we play the game. I hope the ravens continue to put his name on the field, he definitely deserves it. Good luck with your tour, and i really hope you hit the $1million mark. You are a very soecial guy for doing this for these kids. I cant think of any better cause than what you are doing this for. Thank you thank you thank you

    Very proud to be a part of Flock Nation. I knew even with the air quality, Tom was arriving to a blue collar city that would show out. Even with most working long 7 day work weeks; stadiums, events, public training camps are always packed with fans. Glad the team at M&T and the Castle embraced you the way they did and went all out for you . Glad this experience was as emotional, and impactful as it was for you. Congratulations on all the hard work paying off Grossi!

And bringing camaraderie back to sports as a side bonus. You've earned it and the people stand behind you 💯. Looking forward to many more years Tom.. thank you..

    • @thisismyyoutubecommentacco6302

      It's not a "bad rep". The city has been one of the most dangerous in the nation for decades, and I take no pleasure in saying this as a born and raised Marylander.
      No one ever said it doesn't have good parts, Inner harbor has always been nice for example. But even the area around M&T Bank and the Horseshoe casino is sketchy as hell.

    • @fy4b230
      @fy4b230 11 месяцев назад +9

      @@thisismyyoutubecommentacco6302 so it’s a city in America. Got it.
      I to was born in MD and lived in Baltimore for 12 years. Now I live in the DC area. As a baltimoron, DC is way more “sketchy” than Baltimore..but I’m not softer than baby shit and realize that the majority of cities are all the same. Good parts and bad parts.

    • @thisismyyoutubecommentacco6302
      @thisismyyoutubecommentacco6302 11 месяцев назад

      @@fy4b230 Baltimore has a murder rate of 50.1 per 100,000 while D.C. is at a third of that at 17.1 per 100,000. Pretending that every city is the same in this regard is just ignorance. Baltimore is routinely top 3 in murders every year, usually with St. Louis, New Orleans, and Chicago while D.C. is never that close.
      Second, where in the fuck are you doing in D.C. that it is sketchier than Baltimore? The only part of D.C. that is even remotely bad anymore is Anacostia. The wharf went from crack houses to a new concert hall, apartments, and restaurants. NOMA went from crime-ridden to hipster central, and NW DC near U.S. 50 was cleaned up years ago. You may live in the "D.C. Area" but you clearly don't actually go to the city. I work at the Reagan building, I know D.C.
      Also, if you had reading comprehension beyond that of a toddler, you would have seen that I even stated that Baltimore still has nicer areas such as the inner harbor. The problem with Baltimore is the "nice parts" are few and far between while the sketchy as shit parts are more numerous by the day.
      And good lord, "I'm not softer than baby shit". Really? This was your best? you are without a doubt the most pathetic keyboard warrior I've ever seen. next time just sit out the grown ups conversation there champ.

      I say this as a Baltimore resident of over 8 years. I have relative's and dear friends who have misconceptions of B'more.
      Tom is doing a good service by showing a positive light of Baltimore embodied by the Ravens. Considering the news environment, hard working, ordinary Baltimorean are often lost in the wash of cable news. Folks will focus on the violence of Cherry Hill and forget the quiet in Hampden or Fed Hill or Mt. Vernon, or Charles Village or Remington. If it bleeds, it leads.

    My favorite 30 in 30 episode yet. Tom's experience in the Ravens stadium reminds me of a similar experience I had when I applied for a position with the Denver Broncos several years ago. I got the grand tour of their stadium (Unfortunately I didn't get the job) The only difference was I didn't see the laundry room, nor was my name on the stadium jumbo tron like Tom's. Regardless, this video brought back a great memory of mine, and I look forward to seeing what lies ahead for Tom. My schedule is busy, but I hope I can see him when he hits Seattle.

    My hat's off to the Baltimore Ravens NFL franchise. Being so outreaching for this makes them a true American hero. The individuals providing Tom Grossi and Ingraven a tour of the stadium together did it with style and dignity.
    Even the restaurant Jimmy's Famous Seafood has a great reputation; they have been in business since 1974 and will be celebrating 50 years in 2024. What a great achievement for the ownership and employees.
    Tom's recorded journey is 1/3 complete and it is definitely better than some stuff I've watched on TV over several years.
    This was very excellent content for 30 in 30 #10. 🍺Here's to hoping someday the Ravens and Packers will meet in a NFL Championship Game / Super Bowl. Quite the big odds, but hey, I can dream.
