Lucky lad to get mum and dad to buy such a nice car for him. Now all he needs to do is lower it, tinted front windows, loud exhaust and BIG sound system with a bass box filling up the boot.....nice.

Wow, Eddie, that would be equivalent to a Ferrari for me when I was 17. For me, it was a 1951 Hillman Minx, which cost me a fortune back in the day, £45. I passed my test in it shortly after my 17th birthday with some freshly bought Fish & Chips on the rear seat. The examiner couldn't get out of the car quick enough, he spotted a friend of his on the way back to the test centre, told me to stop the car, hurriedly filled out the pass certificate, got out of the car and told me to drive off. Three years later, I was rally driving in Austria. Great video!

My first car was an Austin Metro, bright red. However, when I first past my test I used to drive my Dad's old transit van with sliding doors. Loved it, my friends would pile in and we'd head off for the day.

My first car was a "Austin A30, 2 door Special" bought it off my cousin who had tried to hot it up & couldn't put it back together. Dad put it back, then I had to fight to drive it, he said it was too fast. Eventually got it to drive, great car, lots of weekends away surfing. It could do anything at lights, 1st to start plant food, used to jump out of gear, slap into 2nd. The males couldn't believe a female could do em. Great memories.
Lighting painted down both sides with flames lol

The Aygo is excellent, very reliable, great as a runabout and a perfect tow car. On the clip it didn't look like you had the van plate and triangles fitted, but guess this is all in hand. Weve used the spring clip mounts to swap the plate, quick n easy. We also add On Tow signs to the side windows now, pulling out of junctions and roundabout can confuse a few drivers !! Enjoy 👍

1956 mk2 Ford Consul for £24-10s very quickly it developed a sag in the middle, the back doors would open when you went round a corner and closed again on S bends. It was sorted when we attached a bungee across the back doors. Front wings used to flap a bit due to egg in the remould tyres. How things have changed. He is a lucky lad.

First car, Chrylser Avenger mk 7. You can't go wrong with an Aygo. I brought my daughter a Peugoet 107 as a first car, it failed its MOT when she was 250 miles away whilst at Uni, managed to get it sorted remotely, but knew it would be a money bit, so when she came home at easter, I got her a brand new Aygo using a scrappage deal which covered the cost of the first car. I've got an Agyo X Limited converted with a Tow-a-Frame electronic system, more than happy.

Great Vlog and have loved watching your recent posts for the upgrades to your MoHo and your travels.
My first car was a H Reg (1969-70) Mk1 Capri 1600 GT XLR in Yellow with a Tan Vinyl roof with black bonnet. I can remember spending out on all the bits and pieces, extra dials, chrome etc. even built an intermittent wash wipe with rain sensor, which was un heard of in the latter 70's 😊, just loved that car and was my pride and joy in my teens having passed my test just after my 17th birthday. My wife Deborah's first car was a Singer Chamois Mk2 2 Door1966 D Reg - better known as the Hillman Imp a few years after we were married way back in 1979, she loved it, and both our children loved going out with her, great memories 🥰
We've just had my wife's 22 plate VW UP GTI fitted with the Tow-A-Frame Smart Glide, which has the electric servo for braking, fitted by Mike Northeast (Mike & Bobby) at Tow-A-Frame on Hayling Island, March 2023 along with a Tow bar fitted to our Bailey 794i. like yours' its a big rig 😊 but really don't notice any problems towing at all, just a bit slower on the hills and lost a couple of mpg.
All the best on your new travels which I'm watching your latest Vlog drop this morning as we will definitely be doing a similar route and will be taking the tow car with us as I've got mobility issues now days.

I’m from Port Talbot like Steve & Porthcawl is lovely but if you’re down that way you have to go to the Gower, especially Rhossilli, it is often in lists of top 10 beaches in the world.
