The singer is Faroese, singing lyrics in Icelandic, to a song that's originally from Eurovision Song Contest in 1996, performed by a Swedish band called "One more time". The original title of the song is "Den vilda" :) Eivør performed this at Frostrósir Christmas concert in Iceland. One More Time also recorded an all-English version of the song under the title "The Wilderness Mistress".

@Solid Water Both Iceland and Afrikaans are Germanic languages. Languages can be in the same family(e.g. Germanic) but that doesn't mean they are automatically very similar to each other. English is also a Germanic language but if it wasn't for the fact that I was learning Icelandic I would struggle to recognize more than 2 or 3 words in the whole song.
So far I have been learning languages with no declension and simplified verbs conjugation (English and French). Despite my mother tongue (Czech) has both the declension and very complicated verb conjugation, the Icelandic system, although bit easier, seems an invincible problem to me.
