fun fact the Moonlight laser blader used to be blue and damn near all high rank arena fighters had it with the hidden human plus enhancements from Original armored Cores... it's been out since the 90s
With the Human plus enhancements you could one shot almost anything with moonlight if you were close enough to hit them with the blade and projectile simultaneously
You don't have to fight the wheels! One does drop combat log, but to get the sword you can just swoop in pick it up and dip, don't forget you need to finish the mission to actually unlock it
There is another wheel that jumps to the bridge in the middle of the water section, that also drops a combat log after defeating it. As for this Chapter’s final boss, I recommend 2 Stun Needle launchers, 2 Mini guns and the smaller tank tread lower body with whatever beefy core, arms and head units.
I've found even a single shotgun can reliably land punishing hits on Mecha Malenia's stagger from an fair distance. Both phases she staggers easily if you can land a good hit.
@@baron_rau9135 I did this build for my first run but on my second attempt of this boss when I was trying to get this moonlight sword I'm not sure if it was a NG+ version of the fight but the Ibis did moves I never saw my first time, either way the dual stun guns took her down first try after like an hour of retrying the lance pile bunker strat
@@baron_rau9135 dual stun guns n gatling guns took me 1 minute 47 seconds so I think it was pretty quick, but granted when I did the pile driver strat I didnt charge up my pile drivers for some reason
I found the WB-0010 double-trouble melee weapon. The mission you need to find it is “destroy honest brute” and to get it is as easy as jumping off a platform down to a chest and opening it.
If the Bonewheel Skeletons I mean Bonewheel Mecha are giving you a tough time, you can also pop Pulse Shield while they are unaware, grab it, and get out. For whatever reason the Bonewheels were absolute hell for me (though easy compared to what's next) so I used this to get em.
These are legit the worst enemies in the game so far besides heavy cavalry or whatever the mini boss in the super tiny space was called that could 3 shot you with its laser
Plasma/laser rifle can be found at the start of the mission. Turn slightly to your right from start and roughly 1000m (not sure on that distance) it's sitting on top of a short building Found it and the Plasma gun, but can't beat the 2nd phase of boss. I'm getting close, should get it tonight.
It staggers really easily (hitting is the hard part). When it's staggered try to have a charged Plasma shot read and land it. Ice found plasma AoEs head strong damage to staggered enemies. RJ Legs can be helpful for jumping over some of the AoE and their Assault Boost kick as a HUGE wind-up allowing you to initiate the kick from further back. Useful for getting the stagger over the last bump in a pinch.
Dude yesss! I was wondering if they had it in the game. This blade was an icon in AC4 pvp for very quick, agile builds. It was the only weapon you'd have too. You'd have quick turn boosters on the balls of your shoulders so you could spin around super quick. Unfortunately, now it's a whacky combination of keys to do this which makes it difficult on K/M. But, this weapon is an absolute classic and I'm so glad they have it.
Dam. I went to all that trouble only to find out it's a worse version of the redshift which I already had. I guess it was necessary to get anyway for 100% completion, plus it does have a cool name.
Im honesty unimpressed by the Moonlighting in AC6. It has poor Direct Hit Adjustment and moderate damage for a blade. I feel Its mostly useful to cheesining trash MTs without having to expend ammunition.
The damage is alright. Charge attack is cool to do when an enemy is staggered to do big dam and take out multiple enemies. Also cool to use when weapons are reloading. Its a viable projectile melee weapon

I can't believe they make you fight bone wheel skeletons to get the Moonlight. God damn it.
Lol was thinking the same thing last night
Classic Fromsoft! 😂
In a swamp no less

True.

Wouldn’t be fromsoftware without poisonous swamps. Not sure if that’s in this game though.
There's an electric mist area that isn't remotely like a swamp, but it's the closest thing I can think of.
@@arbitraryanecdotes4521 I’d say it’s close enough. Ah, classic fromsoft. Always stuck in their old ways.

A good option would be a speed/melee build with the javelin and pile bunker, and maybe a hand gun for the extra damage
