@@hallio111 They are far harder because as the orientation of the helicopter changes, so do your apparent stick movements. With an FPV drone left is always left and right is always right... it's childs play

@@lukewhiting3025 in the begging the fly wheel and everything was stuck together because of the old nitro but once i cleaned it up it ran and runs like a buet... cant send her to the moon tho CANT GET PARTS :(

If there are bubbles in the line there might be an air leak somewhere in the system.
The warbling noise always indicates a lack of fuel, usually meaning the engine is too lean or if there is an air leak. Hope this helps 👍

It's amazing how after years of not flying a heli, it all comes back like riding a bicycle. And for all the haters who are "experts" giving unsolicited opinions....Kev can likely fly better than you can.

Probably need to lean out the idle air screw a bit. Seem a bit rich on idle causing the hesitation on the transition to the high speed needle.
Lack of smoke and hanging on the pipe indicates lean. A common tuning mistake is compensating an overly lean high speed needle by overly richening the low/mid range needle. That said, check everywhere for an air leak. Fuel tank, lines including clunk, carb, connections and back plate on the engine. Good luck and stay safe, Kev.

When u run the engine rich it will run a lot cooler.
Try to blast air through the exhaust pressure line while the tank is full.
The air bubbles should go in to the engine.
And no air bubbles should be in the fuel line.
I Nothing about Nitro helicopters but I think it sounds GREAT 👍
Just for information how much pond of thrust it produced at full speed

the sound definentley matters thats like if your car was making a weird noise and you thought it was fine because it was still running

Don't worry about these people talking crap. Kevin you know it is a pain to get nitro to run correctly. All the break in crap and adjusting lean and rich. It is a process. We all lean from our mistakes. They know that at one point they knew nothing about nitro. Have fun and ignore the hateful comments. I would like to hang out i love all types of gadgets. I work on a little bit of everything. From automotive, appliances, toys, hifi audio, little bit of everything. I personally think electric rc is much easier to deal with for sure.
You're bringing a fresh crowd into the heli scene! Keep up the great work, a nitro heli is a handful of moving parts and tuning. Keep the videos coming, dude!
You are an impressive pilot
Kev get a fuel magnet in the tank. It will stop the bubbles and it won’t get any lean spots as the tank gets lower in fuel.

Incredible flying Kev!! I dabbled in Helicopters back in the primitive days of the early 1990's...lol. But I could never get a nitro engine to last long and I hated the noise and oily fuel all over. Now that we have Lipo's I doubt I will ever buy a gas RC again. To be honest I enjoy seeing you drive your cars at Paddlesworth with your buddies. To me it's much more exciting. But the Heli is still cool. 😃👍🏼

Good ol nitro day. BTW the temp of the plug determines the "timing" of ignition in the cylinder cold is retarding and hot is advancing. Most will idle more consistant with a good paired plug. A #8 os plug will surely allow this engine to thrive

Once you get em going proper they're just so bulletproof. They fly FOREVER, and if you dont crash there isnt a lot to go wrong really...

The os#7 works well in the 55, good engine only problem is they eat bearings. I find 5-6 gallons and it needs a new bearing, easy to swap strip the engine and chuck it in the oven for 10 min and it will tap out. nice skills flying

Nice flying Kev! Its been years since Ive tuned a nitro, but the temp of the plug has a direct correlation to how much fuel it can ignite. I think a cold plug cant light as much fuel as a hot plug. So, that may be why your running lean. Your tuning as best you can for the plug, but it cant burn enough fuel to cool the motor. But, as I said, its been a long time since I tuned a nitro engine.
Nice flying Kev. Only hobby engines I’ve ever run were those old Cox .049 glow jobbies.

Perhaps try harvesting the wheat or tilling up the dirt , i dont see much grass out there , considering that the UK has pretty wet weather , the poor grass still looks to be suffering .lol
