Played against you last night and the electric seed tera fire iron hands caught me so off guard, knew from turn one that I had no way off getting rid of it without a crit due to volcarona being my only special attacker, glad to see you posting again!
@@KH-zo8zm True. I guess I mean offensively, and I guess not from Misty Terrain. Everyone benefits from Misty Terrain the same. It's just that its Psychic move is boosted by either Psychic Terrain or Electric and Grassy Terrain boosts its other STAB.
What I've always kinda liked about Iron Leaves is that it can theoretically benefit of all terrains except misty (which isn't common without Tapu Fini anyway). Grass and psychic boost two of its common moves and electric is obviously meant for all future paradox mons.
Hey Aaron, I just wanted to say thank you for your videos! I've started getting into competitive again and it wasn't too hard but A LOT of people use the teams on ladder that you show off yourself so the techs they use are all similar and its easy to counter! This was my first time making it to Ultra Ball, EVER! I'm going to shoot for Master before the month ends.
Congratulations on graduating!!! Feels like just yesterday I was binge watching your ORAS Road to Ranked series. I still reference your speech in high school, I believe it was, about the complexity of competitive Pokémon.
I was considering trying out this team after seeing it once, but I'm relatively new to VGC and couldn't find any in-depth analysis of the team to help me out. So glad you're doing this video since you're incredible at breaking down VGC teams! Going to definitely try the team now!
Graduating from Stanford Grad School of Business and still managing to give us top tier content is insane. We love you and your videos no matter the upload schedule so take all the time you need! 🫡
i played you yesterday while you were using this team as a Miraidon mirror, the Hands with +1 defense and light screen support was sooo good in that one. i feel like i'm still not confident in evaluating my leads while playing Miraidon, it was super cool to play you in the mirror tho :)
Hey Aaron! Welcome back! Firstly, congrats on graduating!! May the path forward be even brighter! Secondly, super fun team and fantastic video, a little note, your mic settings seem to be too sensitive so you were peaking at times even when speaking normally, otherwise, lovely video as always!
@@CybertronVGC No problem, happy to provide feedback! Usually these settings messing up are a consequence of either the recording program updating or windows itself and just messing with settings if I'm not mistaken, so could've been those too!
I've been looking forward to you posting all week. I have never even played vgc, nor have I played any pokemon games past Gen 4, but I love watching your content and hearing the thought processes behind team compositions and move choices in game. Thanks for doing what you do, Aaron!
I did not expect to see Iron Leaves in a video of yours, very interesting i will admit QOTD: I would buff Slither Wing specifically, giving it a wider movepool with Bulk Up, Swords Dance and more moves like Leech Life, Sucker Punch, Crunch, Flame Charge and Drain Punch, make it's stats better with slightly less on bulk and more on Speed
Iron leaves was a lot better than I expected. Also like how this team isn't fully centred around just Miradon doing damage on the team as I think that can be the downfall of the some teams, specifically the caly shadow ones.
I made a wrong read in the first turn and also I should’ve protected ape when you double it down, it was actually my first time trying that team (only zamazenta I have experience using it) 👍🏽 well played!
I was just thinking that if I was the 1st opponent I'd be disconnecting when I see the normal tera. Well, didn't take too long. edit for QotD: I'd make speed booster Bonnet possible, not even the secret tech that trainers used to do with their Kartanas work for Bonnet
I was so disappointed seeing Aaron losing to a top player Alex that way on turn 1&2. Then I realized Aaron is definitely one of the best VGC player afterwards LMAO😂
Aaron, I've been curious about this for awhile now: Why do manually click Tera instead of clicking the R button to do so? Is it a preference/habit thing, or is there another reason for it
As someone who wants to start playing VGC but hasn’t bought a new Pokémon game since gen V, does anyone have recommendations how i can catch up without spending thousands?
SW/SH have dynamax adventures which let you catch a lot of legendaries, same with the blueberry academy points in S/V, so gens 8 and 9 would get you a lot
Honestly? Just get Scarlet and/or Violet with DLC. TPC have made a lot of efforts to make the games more accessible, so the great majority of pokemon you might want to use will be available there, particularly if you pay attention to event raids. You can also use rental codes to get a lot of teams without having to gather and train yourself. If you find there's something you want but can't get, then you can consider getting the game you can get it from, but even there you probably won't need to go any further back than, idk, Legends: Arceus.
I faced this team earlier today on the ladder, and let me just say, that Whimsicott definitely made me work for my win, as the Light Screen made the team an almost invincible fortress, although my Tornadus brought the win home in the 1v1 against the Whimsicott
Missing a will-o-wisp into Cybertron feels like poetic justice lool
Uno reverse moment
you know the meta is getting wild when Iron Leaves starts popping off

genuinely incredible that youre still able to make such good & in-depth videos while so much else is going on. congratulations on graduating!!
Alex coming in with the full waifu team, the gigachad.
I love that Iron Leaves benefits in at least some way from EVERY terrain.
I mean doesn't pretty much every pokemon XD
@@KH-zo8zm True. I guess I mean offensively, and I guess not from Misty Terrain. Everyone benefits from Misty Terrain the same. It's just that its Psychic move is boosted by either Psychic Terrain or Electric and Grassy Terrain boosts its other STAB.
It’s like the counterpart to Walking Wake which gets benefits in sun and rain. Which I find neat.
What I've always kinda liked about Iron Leaves is that it can theoretically benefit of all terrains except misty (which isn't common without Tapu Fini anyway).

Thank you for watching, glad it can help in your VGC journey! Congratulations on reaching Ultra Ball, I know you’ll reach Master Ball 💪
Good luck!!
You got this! Ultra ball is so close to master ball, just a few games left

Leaves: Normal Tera
Opponent: Leaves
I think people don't cosider the fact that iron leaves has quash, it can quash a caly shadow to make miraidon attack first
Wait that’s actually insane, brb building a team now
Ive been miserable w the stomach flu today thanks for the awesome video 😊
Hope you get well soon!
Alex woke up and chose the Harem route
Ah, last night I was just thinking about how busy you must be but that I hoped you'd find the time to do a vid soon. A great way to start my day!
Did his camera also get a glow up??? Bruh is just flourishing out here and I love to see it.

01:03:38 bro that team 💀
Finally a video, and with a insane team with not that common mons actually, kinda, so yeah, and with a duration of 1h30? Was worth the wait

Thank you for letting me know, first time recording in a while so some of the settings got messed up - will adjust for the future, appreciate you!

Incin and Ursh just straight up 2v4 Alex Gomez was kinda insane lol
Was just thinking it's been a while since I saw one of your videos and this notification just popped up
Iron Leaves haters been REAL quiet since this banger dropped..!
Iron leaves is probably my favorite paradox mon. PsyBlade is so goofy, I love it!
I did not expect to see Iron Leaves in a video of yours, very interesting i will admit

Best youtuber, no debate.
Such kind words, you made my day thank you 😭
I’m convinced that Aaron just does not age
Shiny Toedscruel looks sick
Shiny Lunala also looks sick
Game 6 was a movie, no lie. What. A. Match.
Literally. Comback of legends
Comment for the algorithm because Aaron is the best.
???: Alex? Why didn’t you name yourself Jiraiya?
Alex: Yes
Will-o-wisp miss into disconnect, an interesting strategy.

So glad to see some success from the future paradox legends.
That one against poke alex was insane
Aaron is finally back with a video!! I waited soo long man you're the best🔥
Congrats Aaron. Keep it up man. Killer content
always look forward to your new videos, Aaron!
Oh Joyous Day! A Cybertron video!
QOTD: give bundle a decent power accurate water move. my poor boy doesn't deserve hydro miss
Finally, yes! People talk so much crap about the Iron Justices but Leaves in particular hits like a TRUCK! Gonna love this show case, I just know it.
I made a wrong read in the first turn and also I should’ve protected ape when you double it down, it was actually my first time trying that team (only zamazenta I have experience using it) 👍🏽 well played!
the king returned!!!
Calling the incineroar switch in with tera grass Kyogre in game 2 was so badass
Fake
I faced this Team today on the ladder and was very surprised that the Iron Leaves survived my Chien Paos Sucker Punch, but I still won the battle
Man incin and ursh are so broken 😂
I was just thinking that if I was the 1st opponent I'd be disconnecting when I see the normal tera. Well, didn't take too long.
edit for QotD: I'd make speed booster Bonnet possible, not even the secret tech that trainers used to do with their Kartanas work for Bonnet
That DC, you love to see it😂❤
Hey Aaron leaving this comment to boost that algorithm for you!
Been waiting for a while since last video!
aaron cybertron zheng here to save me during my long ass layover, let's go
Hell nah, broken mon
I was so disappointed seeing Aaron losing to a top player Alex that way on turn 1&2. Then I realized Aaron is definitely one of the best VGC player afterwards LMAO😂
Game 2 is crazy!
i would buff iron thorns by making it dark electric instead of rock and giving it sucker punch.
How do I look up teams that are on the ladder? I wanted to do a recording or a few teams there but could not figure it out.
QOTD: I would give iron spikes hadron engine.
game 3 that psyblade did soooo much damage to the bolt wow!!!!
Would you recommend this team over the previous miraidon team (with bloodmoon) you featured?
Holy,, IMY AARON! ❤️
Hey yo,I played against you yesterday,my ign bendawg I had the pao and d nite,it was nice playing you and I finally got to
Yo, is that CybertronMBA??
Aaron, I've been curious about this for awhile now: Why do manually click Tera instead of clicking the R button to do so?
Is it a preference/habit thing, or is there another reason for it
Alex running the R34 team?
such a cool team
QOTD: I will give Fluttermane ONE more point into attack.
I just automatically hit like on these video's, doesn't matter what the team is, i know i'm gonna have a good hour of content.
I'm confused... does Neutralizing Gas not affect Calyrex's As One? 12:13
No it doesn't
how do you check ladder rankings?
That first rage quit. oof.
1:03:46 "I have no idea what to expect from this team"
........ I do..... not know as well ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Rental code in description is incorrect! It's listed TNL2CM
Fixed, thank you!
Til calyrex learns pollen puff
This mon kinda leaves a lot to be desired sadly but its very cool
She Road to Ranked on my Online VGC Ladder ‘til I provide live commentary as I go
game 1 was brutal lmao
