The 1316 and before I think we're made in the old Bronx factory pre 2010. In about 2008 they sold the brand to a clothing company, who shipped all the manufacturing to China. I know because I was the UK distributor from 1995 to 2008, that's when the quality dropped to the floor, the 2 pairs you aee showing were the last made at the Bronx factory, such a shame
You should do like a history/evolution on boxing gloves tbh. It would be unique in seeing on how differently each glove was during the different eras. Great video btw 💯
This is very cool thanks for sharing. i have definitely forgotten about a lot of the old school gloves. it's cool to see Everlast now making a comeback in the market over last few years. i have purchased or seen many of the recent launches and quality and design have been much improved! we should definitely be showing them some love now they are moving in the right direction!
oh great, very nostalgic. Everlast was the brand which everyone conect with boxing. Reminds me on the movie -million dollar bany or rocky balboa . These gloves stand also for great time in the US boxing. Thanks for the Video.
Im biased I always liked everlast as a brand Always found them to be comfortable shoes gloves punch bags everything Great review Carlo keep up the great work 🔥🥊
Great review. Would like to see a review of 90's Everlast gloves. I had a 90's Everlast training gloves that I bought at Big 5 Sporting goods and it was the 'expensive model' for $50 if I remember right. It lasted forever for sparring and gave up the ghost in less than 6 months once I started using it for the heavy bag because the padding on the left glove bunched up in the tip of the fingers and there was no padding on the knuckles. Would love to know what padding they used. I now use Ringside IMF gloves and they seem to be much more durable for bag work.
Holy! I remember when I first started boxing and my coach had a ton of these old gloves! Shame I think we didn't know better back then to see they were so rare!
That updated black one is what I had in my teens, but a 14oz with velcro. I *loved* those gloves, but I got rid of them to get some 16oz Ringside Reyes. I shoulda kept those Everlasts..
i’m looking into buying some bgl6 fairtex 8oz lace up glove and it’s been incredibly hard to find a review on them i’m just wondering if you have ever had them seen them used them or would recommend something different around the same price point $110?
Had a 14-series glove in 16oz (1416?). There were thin pieces of plastic, almost imitation horsehair, that would poke through the knuckles on the inside of the glove. Even managed to pull a couple out. Between that and the elastic velcro strap, I wasn't feeling them. Gave them to a friend who used them daily for another couple years & loved them. Should've gotten the 13-series.
There was definitely a period of sports direct failing the brand, but the last few years the team they have now have been upping their game a lot and making a big comeback. ranges like powerlock, MX, 1910, elite, have been really really good. And they arguably have the best fight glove on the market period right now with the elitemx.
Make Everlast great again
This is the comment ^
And Lonsdale!!

I know man, wish I bought a ton of them and kept them dead stocked 😂 sometime you don’t realize what you have until it’s gone!

Hey Carlo, can you please do a comparison between the Meister Portable Hand Wrap Roller and the TITLE Boxing Portable Zip Hand Wrap Roller?

the 1312 glove reminds me of pro-ams retro line.
love the ph flag on the shirt pare.
I got a sealed pair of these I’m scared too use em lol
wow, never knew Everlast was still making gloves in the USA with horsehair in the 2000s. Doesn't seem that too long ago for us old folks.
Joe Calzaghe wore these in the Calzaghe/ Jones 24/7 series on HBO!
yes he said that these gloves are lasting very long and his favouit.
Good save on cursing kuya😂
I hate that they nerfed Everlast almost every boxer used them and now the only alright gloves of theirs is the powerlocks
