Voiceplay is completely independent, no label, no manager. They do almost everything themselves. They do own Halloween. Be Prepared is dropping tomorrow. Then their true Halloween cover next month. They do every genre you can think of, thanx for reacting to this one!
Ashley and Cesar (the couple here) were childhood friends in Puerto Rico before their families moved to the Orlando area. For the Spanish: Ashley: De vez en cuando siento que me estas olvidando y que no regresaras. De vez en cuando pienso que ya estoy muy cansada. De estar sola y de escucharme llorar. From time to time I feel that you are forgetting me and that you will not return. From time to time I think that I am already very tired. Of being alone and hearing myself cry. Singers: Mira mis ojas. Look at my eyes. Cesar: De vez encuando siento enloquecer. From time to time I feel crazy. Cesar: Eclipse total del amor. Total eclipse of love.
I realized how much you love country music so thought I would mention the country covers from this group. They did Daddy Sang Bass and Tennessee Whiskey. There may be more but I can’t recall. Others you would enjoy are Hoist the Colours, Drunken Sailor and Oogie Boogie’s Song. Their bass, Geoff Castelucci has a solo channel and he has done Take Me Home Country Raids, Folsom Prison Blues and Man of Constant Sorrow. 😊
You should watch VoicePlay's cover of "I Can't Make You Love Me ", as well as going back in their vault for "Survivor: Zombies vs Hillbillies " which they did with Home Free.
VoicePlay's bass singer, Geoff Castellucci (pronounced "Jeff"), has his own RUclips solo channel where he layers his voice and does his own instrumentals, sometimes in costume. That channel is mostly done by Geoff and his wife, Kathy. He started creating solo music videos during the pandemic shutdown. All of the vocals and all of the instrumentals are his on the solo channel. He's covered some Johnny Cash, plus several great Halloween covers (for instance, watch his "Jack's Lament" from The Nightmare Before Christmas). You'd probably like it. Geoff is one of the two founding members who have remained in VoicePlay since their beginnings in 1997 (original name was 4:2:FIVE). Layne Stein, their beatboxer/baritone, is the other founding member. He and Geoff have been performing together since middle school. VoicePlay, and Geoff, break down the credits for who did what thoroughly in their video descriptions. Since they are all totally independent, they have learned the skills needed for producing their videos. Eli Jacobson (tenor) does the lighting for VoicePlay and Geoff.
Geoff has a lot of country-flavored songs on his personal channel that you might really like: from Folsom Prison Blues to Country Roads to Man of Constant Sorrow and Riders on the Storm... just lots and lots of good music. He often changes the rhythms, but that's part of making them sound new and fresh again.
Although I would REALLY love a version of "Riders On The Storm" by Geoff I believe you actually meant "Ghost Riders In The Sky" - especially since Riders On The Storm is not the 'country' influenced one 😁
@@Hwyla-qp5lv You're so right! A couple of days ago I was fantasizing on VoicePlay doing a Doors song - guess which one, LOL. My subconscious snuck in on this one. (But think about some of those gorgeous musical lines and how they might sound done w/ voices instead of instruments! I swear I can hear them doing it!)
@@Aurora-cv5to I so want Geoff to do "Light My Fire". I can't quite wrap my head around VP doing that organ solo, so I hope Geoff might attempt it someday (I keep asking)
@@philherman8633 It IS however the similarity between their names that created that internet 'rumor' that they were married. Don't recall now what website cited it, but they have not ever been more than friends. Though they certainly can act the part well enough here for the story. The song was apparently done in Spanish as a duet in Puerto Rico when they were growing up, which inspired the use of the Spanish here.
Glad you enjoyed this song. Please do explore more of their videos.

VoicePlay are my favorite!! They have a lot of great covers to choose from 😊

By the way, VoicePlay dropped a new one - Be Prepared. Simply marvelous, Geoff makes a great Scar.
VP has the widest genre range of all the acapella groups - from rock covers, to Disney medleys and everything in between! 🌹🕊
voiceplay has some good stuff

VoicePlay is my favorite alone with bass Geoff Castellucci on his solo channel. They are #TheatreKidsOfAcappela.

The song is Ghost Riders in the Sky. It is an easy mixup to make.
Love voice play, great reaction, they did a great job
Thank you 🤗
Thanks Twiztid! I really like this one!
I’ve read that Ashley and Cesar group up in Puerto Rico so are fluent in Spanish. Also, despite having the same last name they are not related.
They don't have the same last name.
Cesar de la Rosa and Ashley Diane Rosa.
@@karenponchak5304 Thanks, guess I should’ve done more research rather than go by other posts I saw.
