Yeah Premium is $15/month for single, or $23/month for family. Ads are ridiculous, several double unskippabke ads every video now.

I throw a pile of shëit at my screen,record it ,then email it to RUclips. Did this four times before they eventually blocked me. Brothers,sisters we will not loose this fight! Stay strong. So the only way to block RUclips ads on a Samsung Smart TV is to pay for premium or maybe use the TV as a monitor from the PC?
You can try to use a third party DNS (will not give 100% guarantee), buy a premium subscription or how you wrote to use the TV as a display for your device with OS (Windows, Linux, Mac)

Yes, but the problem is if you install these free ad blocker extensions and enable them YT detects that and refuses to play at all. It will only play the video if they are disabled so, back to square one.

The price depends on your country of residence. It may be enough to use a VPN from another country, but it is not certain.
Here in UK it's £12 a month which is about $14.78!!!

Had Subs from all round the world

But strangly the people from UK were monetised most. All of them either moved out and continued or removed their content.

Thats good for android devices Martin but what about th ads on a computer. a computer RUclips cannel being a pensioner I find $14.99 per month rather hefty fee for stopping ads A more realistic price for pensioners would be $5 per month or a $59 annual ee.

Somehow the browser version is every bit as good. I've old Nokia Phones from 2013, and they never had a YT app (Windows Phone), but you'll be surprised that even the ancient junk Internet Explorer throws a modern YT app experience at you. No app needed.
How do you block adds o your smart TV?
I just uninstalled it from my xbox too many adds on every 2 mins I've had enough. I don't mind one or two but every 15 mins or so. I'm not paying them on top of giving them my data to sell on to advertising agencies.

More often, it blocks everything, but RUclips updates ads and sometimes passes them until the developers make changes to the ad blocking policy.

This is going to be completely worthless now .... Especially if you paid money for an ad blocker there is no guarantee it's going to work any longer and you are just wasting your money.
RUclips on my desktop has no ads, thanks to Opera's built-in adblocker. But how can I block ads on my TV, fed by a Roku device? Is RUclips Premium the only option?
You can try to use DNS, but this option does not work well.
For a TV the best option is this premium. The price of a subscription depends on your location. A VPN to help.
How about Smart TV's and plug-ins like Apple TV?
the best case scenario is filtering through a custom DNS. In general, I don't think there are other ways.

Any of the methods may not work periodically. You can try to use DNS filtering using Adguard. This is one of the most efficient ways, but it also has the disadvantage of a longer loading of pages.

Nice video, thanks. But I have concern about browser ad blockers - they have possibility to scan and read all content from your browser, so its don't safe to use it, in my opinion.

You can slow down the video when someone is speaking too fast. Hit the round setting gear upper right corner in the video. Then check playback speed. I usually go to 75% and that works well.

It was short lived, still have ads coming through not at the same rate but they still coming through.
Unfortunately none of the ways can guarantee 100% blocking ads always.
The problem is companies are so hell bent on flooding pages with ads, even pages where it makes no sense to have ads at all, so any method anyone provides is only ever gonna be temporary.

Unfortunately, there is no way to guarantee 100% effectiveness. The best options would be uBlock Origin, Adguard (DNS filter), RUclips Blocker, and Brave Browser. Sometimes one of these methods works perfectly, while at other times none of them can block ads until the developers release an update. Therefore, only a premium subscription can provide a 100% guarantee of ad-blocking. However, to buy the cheapest subscription, you can use a VPN.
I think you are going way too fast. The object surely is to let people to understand and follow what you are saying. You have to look at it from the stand point of the audience, it is not simply a question of finishing what you set out to say. People who are familiar with what you say probably don't need to watch your video. People who are not familiar with it will have a lot of problems following. Not that I am ungrateful. It doesnt work in app, it works fine in browsers, in fact Firefox works great and has stuff like uBlock as available add-ons that work very well. Or there are 3rd party youtube apps that work, like NewPie and SkyTube tho they come with 3rd party app risks.

Was looking at an option for my GF with her xbox and I don't know about it since I only use PC. But as a quick answer if anyone pulls up this video, just get the uorigin ad block extension. Some other ad blockers while I'm typing this are causing issues with youtube being incredibly slow, so yeah.
There is a way to enter developer mode of your internet browser and write a certain code which will make any AD which is longer than 5 seconds to disappear. I thought this video was about that. I will keep looking then, I am not paying for youtube for not watching their bullshit ads

Bro this all fake I bet. One way is to inject javascript, in chrome you can inject javascript by using the console. And thats probably the safest way to block/skip yt ads
