I havent even killed my first Sea Ghost, the Original SG ...i wasnt even interested in a new yak....but, dang, Josh, like i said years ago, Vibe LISTENS to its Tribe!!! Best yak Ive seen yet!!!!! Outstanding! I can carry 4 rods laid down!! Why I Vibe, baby, Why I VIBE!!!!!
I really like the Raven color on the Shearwater. I just bought me a brand new Wilderness Recon HD. The reason I didn't buy the Vibe Shearwater is because you have fin drive. I believe that is a decent system but for open water. You shouldn't limit yourself like that. I fish in lakes and rivers and being able to instantly reverse is most high on my list. I really really wanted that Raven Shearwater 125, but went with the Recon 120 Steel instead. Sorry we couldn't make a connection.
Wow ! Cant believe the cool , futuristic , yet functional lines of the awesome Bonafied yaks , got one upped so damn soon ! Now if Vibe will complete the beatdown on the way , by adding a lighter, car toppable a 10ft Shearwater , into the mix ;} lol
I got my kayaks from Josh and now they seemed to have one that has everything you can think of. The only things I would want to add is a skid plate on the keels, that front one is pretty big other than that, sign me up! I like that they were thinking ocean fishing too!!
Love the well thought out deck layout. Love the horizontal rod storing areas! Looking forward to seeing the drive system up close. I have a couple of concerns. One- having a cup holder is huge on a kayak. Many of us are fishing in the summer when it's hot and we need to have water handy at all times. The cup holder looks too shallow. Maybe not but from what I can tell it looks like a bottle of water would fall out of the holder pretty easy. Two- by far my biggest concern is the new hull design particularly in the front. Hull slap is something those of us who fish in the marsh and saltwater flats can't tolerate. It does spook fish. Just looking at the hull in this video it looks like a hull the would be conducive for hull slap. Hopefully not. If so that would be a deal killer for a lot of saltwater fisherman. Also curious to know how many scupper holes are in the boat.
How much are these worth and they are looking amazing in shape and if it's possible to do in 2.8 and 6 metres it's perfect leghth size only for myself I'm only 160cm height
I have this kayak and love it. But I still have not got my new pedal system. I also mailed my registration card and sent it in about two weeks ago. I called today and am waiting for a call back.
I hate the 2018 Yellowfin rudder. The rudder pedals look amazing on the new boat. Any chance I could fit these up front on my Yellowfin 130T? They probably won't sell these as accessories. Sure would like to buy a set to try a retro fit.
I wish i saw this kayak before i went and bought a hobie revo. The revo is not a bad kayak but lack of space, it make it difficult to place your tackle and fish.
It's the old hobie drive, no reverse unless they designed it to put it in backwards... I wish they would have made it propeller drive instead of the old hobie system. No reverse is not good if your claiming to be the be all boat.
that cup holder is totally useless! every pedal stroke I would hit the cup... I like the tackle box area. Needs a forward facing flush mount rod holder. the rear facing rod holders seem difficult to access when on the water. I like the addition of the horizontal rod holders, every boat particularly any off shore boat needs these
Man, that hull looks sweet. I like the versatility.
Never heard of a shearwater till I watched this pretty impressive looking unit
Joshua you did a great job! Really like the well thought out amenities the Shearwater provides, plus it is probably still quick and tracks straight!

That seat is amazing!!!
Dude 👊 I've gotta have one I'll wait hell yeah!🔥
thx for sharing this! i have been looking for a demo of this kayak!
Wow... I love the versatility and upgrade-ability. Only thing missing is LED lights like on the FeelFree Dorado.
Keep up the great concepts.
I've been wanting a vibe longer than you can imagine finally ordered one . It's taking so long!!!

Will be a great kayak!
That’s a great looking rig at a good price 👍👍
Looks like it will be a great boat.
Very nice.👍
Very impressive
Awsome ideas
Very nice boat at a great price
An amazing kayak !!! I’m starting a Shearwater savings account so I can upgrade from my SG130.
Yeah tell me about it haha that thing is a beauty

Definitely a sleek looking kayak

That's a very interesting point, I will do an on the water review on one, on my Channel, as soon as they are available to us

Does the bixby have reverse? Great vid, thanks!
Vibe does not play around. That's how you build a company.

I really wish they would have stuck with the center storage pod as standard equipment.
How well will a side view transducer work on the Shearwater?
Are you able yo buy the hobie mirage 180 drive and put it in instead since they use a 1st gen mirage drive?
Top
My motor system would make this really nice kayak even nicer lol
I wish they would let more information on the peddle drive, it's like a secret on any thing about it.
Wow
So I heard him say you can drop in any foot peddle drive system. Does this mean the hobie drive will be able to drop in?
That's how I took it.
Well, just out of curiosity , how do you steer it with the pedal drive in? With the paddle ???
It has a hand rudder control, I saw it on another video
Very curious how you would handle rudder steering if you go with the pedal option.
There will be hand steering on either side
Hi is the Vibe 125 a dry kayak for a older kayak 101 knowledge guy
How much is this beautiful kayak?
I wish i saw this kayak before i went and bought a hobie revo. The revo is not a bad kayak but lack of space, it make it difficult to place your tackle and fish.
How much is shipment to singapore
Deck is way too busy for my taste. And I want to see a on the water stability test.
Sou do Brasil. Como faço para adquirir um desse?
Cupholder AKA emergency urinal
Dealers in Canada???
where can i get this kayak
I tried looking up their pedal drive but I found nothing does anyone have any info on vibe's pedal drive
It hasn't been released yet, as soon as it is, I'll do a review on my Channel
It's the old Hobie Drive that's no longer on a patent.

Bought a sea ghost 110 it cracked after one month this was my first kayak ,not a very good first impression.Still waiting for my new one from vibe.
Don't get me wrong i love this kayak.
What is the expected release date?
JimmyDean1992 February 2020. It’s in the video
wait can you put a hobie pedal drive in this? like one of the newer versions just curious
Yes
@@dannypino3130 How do you steer with the foot pedals and pedal at the same time? Pretty sure you can't
@@johnet5215 There’s a knob on your left when your sitting down. That’s for the rudder and then you pedal with your feet.
C'est tout qu'un kayak ? Il y en a du stock là-dedans !?!? Je peux voir l'excellente qualité des matériaux ! ;

Is this made in the US?
Nope. Made in China.

My shearwater is made differently 🤔🤔 why is that?
They're nice and all..but they're just rich man toys. I can catch just as many fish if not more from my little bass hunter or John Boat lol
