Another great video. After watching you and Nath. I was insprised to get up off the sofa and get out for a wild camp. I finally managed to get out for my first wildcamp this weekend. Really enjoyable and cant wait to get out again. Feeling inspired. Thank you!
Ah thats brilliant to hear - really glad to have helped give you the little nudge you needed to get out and make the most of the land. Nothing beats the solitude of a wild camp. Thanks ever so much for watching! And happy adventures! All the best!

Oh no, I've fallen in love with two men at once😉....I've been a follower for a while and some how missed a load of vids, now after binge watching quiet a few I'm hooked....so much so I want to join a hiking group thanks to yourself and Nathan♥️♥️....love listening to you both having a laugh, talking about life, learning more about hiking etc....anyway just adore you both, maybe Nath just slightly more.😉...I feel like I'm there enjoying your explores as well, I find them calming in this time of covid, never stop making them and hello from Tasmania♥️♥️
Glad you were able to get out camping again and of course I enjoyed sharing your experience. I hope you sent a message to the rangers about those idiots with the fire. I’m planning a 3 night trip in a couple of weeks and I want to get well away from other people. That’s a long time to leave my car and I might start on the north moor and head south onto the south moor before heading back. I can’t wait!
I don't blame you - its such a shame that this kind of thing goes on and yes, theres always the worry of leaving your car. Hopefully it will be ok. Take it easy and stay safe!
Great to see you out wild camping again and many thanks as always for a great video/vlog.Yep,i would of stressed if i had a bottle of that pop all over my kit..I love packing my gear for an adventure but getting home and drying it is not so much fun.Thank you for highlighting the 'leave no trace' moto !!!..I blew my lid at the xxxxxxx with the fire !!!!...Keep up the fantastic work .Always a joy to watch..
I know - was unbelievable that people can treat the outdoors in such a disgraceful way - I don't think people realise the rules, sometimes with regards to fires, but to have the cheek to leave so much litter behind, they must have a brain cell or ten missing! I know we are all reiterating the point at the moment, but I'm not so sure the culprits are watching! Anyway, was a gpood camp (at last) and glad that you enjoyed the video. All the best!
Thanks Mari - was great to finally get out - I see you've had yourself quite a stunning adventure - I shall have to come check it out when I get a minute! Hope you're keeping well.
Nice to see your out camping on the Moor again Trev. That was the location of my very first solo wild camp (in fact my first ever wild camp). Last year. I was a little anxious but got through the night and the morning sunrise definitely made it all worthwhile . Great views from up there. Thanks again for sharing

Ah the beauty of Dartmoor tis a wonderful thing to envelope yourself in,,enjoyed the video ,,did a bit of the Abbots way a couple of weeks ago and camped at Huntingdon Warren and up above Nuns cross farm at Eylesbarrow,, was wet but good fun ,,you can't beat getting lost in the fog lol ,,all the best and enjoy!!
You didn't see the hoodlum cows then? I will attempt the Abbotts way again at some point thought it may be a good training exercise for north to south... oh well, i'll try again another day. Cheers for watching!
I enjoyed that video. I've been lucky with going out this year, I was out towards the end of May for wild camps as we had all restrictions lifted, plus it's strange to see other parts of the UK still going on about the two metres social distancing. So easy to forget and just go about our business as usual. Waffled on a bit there, but great to watch your videos.
Cheers Rich. It's easy to forget what we've been through, but I am cautious enough and happy to be able to count those I have contact with each week on one hand and minimise my travelling too, at least until we know what effects the easing of lockdown is going to have. Anyway... I do try not to think about it.
Nice one trev 👍 Stunning area that. I was up that way last night couldn't believe the amount of people. Haytor was like an anthill. Still it's there for everybody 👍
Yea, that it is mate. And Haytor is the popular end of the moor. Whenever Dartmoor gets a mention on the telly, it's Haytor. Cheers for watching bud. Hope you had a good weekend.
Nice to see you out on the First Camp of the Year, thanks for the demo with the OEX Stove, I'm thinking of getting one of the those myself, Appreciate the Advice. Phill
Cheers Phillip. Was really impressed with that little stove actually. Well worth a tenner pop. Have yet to do a comparison vid with the jet boil. Thanks for watching
Great to see you enjoying this camp so much. you obviously needed it ! Great spot and glad to see the crowds dissipated in the end. Now you have got your first camp of the year under your belt all you have to do is to sort out the lockdown hair ! ;) Just kidding.
Nice one, happy for you that you got a good night's rest, especially after your vids of trying to sleep through gales and flapping tent cloth. Truly stunning views. Amazing btw that such a small tent houses such a big chap!
Are you referring to my belly?! lol. Yea, it was a good night in the tent, first time in a one man tent, and was a bit of a squash, but bearable. Cheers for watching!
No, I was rather looking at you unfolding and stretching your legs and arms as you climbed out of that tiny tent. Mind you, my own tent is about the same size and I always wonder how I am going to fit in after setting it up!🏕️🤔
Well done Trev more great content as usual thanks once again for cheering me up on a sunday evening and showing my old stomping ground , this week i have been enjoying your video whilst supping a nice cold sauvignon blanc. PS . don't worry about eating your food that's out of date. When we use to go camping and fishing here on the IOW we'd get British ration pack food from the local surplus shop and they were 7 YEARS out of date and we are still fine .
Excellent video trev! Those views were stunning! I had similar happen to me, on a walk in I had a beer explode in my bag and soaked everything! Had to hike back home! 😂 the new gear all looked good, and loved the horse getting in on your time lapse! 🤣 have a good week mate Ash
Good to see you out on a wild camp once again... a 65+10 pack.. I have a 90 for my camps and completely fill it.. LOL Testing new gear is always fun. Only one meatball in that meal... kind of disappointing... It does see like it would not be a proper camp if everything went to plan...LOL I have not done a camp either but hope to do one soon.. Outstanding that you got out and enjoyed yourself..
No there was more than one meat ball... just the one that I filmed! The pack weight was frustrating, after such a promising and hopeful weight during lock down - but then I wasn't walking too far... this week!! Thanks for watching, Max - and hope you manage a camp soon! Cheers!
Nice little camp there Trev. Only camped in the Garden so for this year for the Great British Campout, every nice evening I’ve had to get on the moor I’ve been working night shift ... doh 🙄
I've struggled with sleeping pads. Had my first weekend in the klymat static V XL. Was really comfy and wide to not roll of. Worth a look Trev. Keep the excellent videos up Trev.
Cheers Dean. I took this sleeping pad out again this weekend and stayed on it all night, even in a 2 man tent and on a slope, so has to be some improvement. Thanks for watching, buddy. All the best!
Good vid Trev with plenty of helpful info....I'm fortunate to be based not far from Princetown & last year walked down to Ivybridge via the Abbots Way & Two Moors Way. I hope to walk north up to Okehampton soon...who knows. Sadly we get too many Nobheads these days down here on the Moor...keep up this good stuff, cheers..
I know, its disappointing to see this kind of behaviour going on at the moment - they have no festivals to go to, I reckon and so are flocking to the beauty spots! Glad that you enjoyed the video, and I think I will be tracing our steps during my big walk soon!
Nice one Trev I bet that's put you off Weetabix for a while I'm always self-conscious about putting liquid inside my bag love the video great weather beautiful landscapes looking forward to your next clip. What's the betting next time of use the air bed and you pump it up you won't sleep very well. Be safe be lucky
Yea it was a bloody nightmare, Kevin, will definitely think twice before packing that again. I managed another test of the sleeping pad this weekend just gone See how that pans out this weekend. Cheers for watching!
@@SummitOrNothingYou are right re the modifications; they have added a clip so that the tent door can be held back, clever little eyelet inserts in the poles to attach the guy lines to and they have changed the top air vent design. Really impressed by the quality, I can see why you like Naturehike tents. Like you I now need to test it in the rain.
Good to see you back out Trev and what great weather you had for it ,bad head lol stella ? I always think I've forgotten something after packing but I haven't , but one day I did my poles 😂 atb Dave
Good price on the meals but I just bought 100 Mylar bags for £12 and I make my own noi in the bag meals or porridge with powdered milk or noodles etc so you just add water. Try making your own and freezing them as you can then use left overs
@@andycoombes161 I usually do, actually mate, have always got a chilli or a stew or two in the freezer ready to go. I wish I'd not bothered going in with my mate to be honest! Can't beat a home cooked meal!
Cheers Jon - srry to dissapoint with the Dartmoor legends. I had lined up for the Abbotts Way walk actually but didnt do it in the end. Ill get round to one soon for you! Cheers!
There have been a lot of adjustments made to the newer models of the Vik1 so I think they are even better now than this model of mine. Also, I wonder if the jet boil has also gone back to the drawing board since I purchased mine because it either goes full steam ahead or putters out. Regardless, this new set up was an absolute dream in contrast. Cheers for watching!
So great. Looks absolutely lovely 😍 You have inspired me to plan a wild camp in the mountains surrounding Bergen (Norway) 500+ metres above where I live, after returning from visting my sister in another part of Norway (weather dependent though...). And don't mind your hair. It suits the wilderness 😉😊 Torunn
It's an interesting tent - obviously MSR/Big Agnes 'inspired' - looking a bit weird with its exterior skeleton (I'll bet that sings in the wrong kind of wind!) - what concerns me most is that there's nowhere inside the sleeping compartment for condensation to run apart from the floor, there's not even a mesh band above the bathtub like there is on other single-skin hybrids like the Lanshan Pro or the SMD Lunar Solo - unless you can ventilate enough, you could end up in a puddle. But it looks so glorious to be out again - I'm trying for my first proper 2020 camp this week in N Wales - thanks for your videos, I've enjoyed them during lockdown particularly as you show the human side of hiking and your attitude is A1 (subscribed). Also like seeing Dartmoor as I've never been there, I'm ashamed to say. A treat in store. When packing melty/runny/liquidy stuff like the one you burst, it's a good idea to have it inside an additional layer like a ziplock. Nothing wrong with that cookset, particularly if you're going to do a bit of real cooking, but I've moved on to a lighter meths/cone setup with Ti pot and I'm loving it - what made me change was the instability of those canister-top stoves; I'm a clumsy so-and-so and the final straw was torching my tent one night in wildest Knoydart. That looks like a beast of a sleeping mat! I don't imagine it's that light either...
Yes, there are a few potential issues with this tent - i will test in more adverse conditions - but to be fair to Naturehike, this appears to be an earlier model, and they have since upgraded and altered a few things here and there - I hope to acquire a newer version at some point in the near future. The mat is huge - but for a quick stroll up a hill it was no real hardship carrying it and worth the comfort at the other end - I have had so many nights shuffling and slipping around on rubber inflatable beds - this seemed a lot better. Thanks for watching and your feedback! Cheers!
Try mylar bags for your meals Trev. I just bought 100 for £12 on ebay. You can then freeze leftovers of make your own boil in the bag meals or porridge etc with powdered milk... Noodles maybe? The sky is the limit and much cheaper
I usually do, actually mate, have always got a chilli or a stew or two in the freezer ready to go, as youve probably seen in several of my vids before now. I wish I hadnt bothered going in with my mate to be honest! Can't beat a home cooked meal!
Nice one, Trev. I felt bad when I spotted the best before date on that meal I gave you... But hearing of your latest haul, I feel a little bit better. ;-) A solo wild camp and a new tent in decent weather. I read The Salt Path last year and quite liked it - although a friend seems convinced it's fiction... I think the author has another book coming out soon. Anyway, all the best.
I felt bad that I didn't just eat it, Olly - it looked really nice and I'm sure it would have been fine... I was going to eat it the next time and never went back out (bet it was much nicer than this old rubbish). I'm enjoying the salt path - always interesting to read about locations I had trudged along myself and yea, she may even already have one out - theres an ad for it on the back of my copy! . Cheers for watching, mate.
I think I remember the killer cow story and in the article it said the cow was destroyed😭. I found your channel on a amazon review of the naturehike cloud up 2 so keep up the good work👍
Not sure this is the same story. This was last weekend, and was a stampede by a whole gets, apparently they're in the habit of charging at people unprovoked at the moment. Anyway, cheers for watching and glad that you found us. Cheers!
Couple questions please. How did you and “Naf” meet? How long have yall been together( no Brokeback reference intended)? It would be interesting to hear more about your other life...family jobs etc. Great fun watching ....thank you
Met Nath about 20 years ago through a friend who worked with him. There are a couple of Q&A vids that we've done in the past, you can search for them, they have a bit more info in them. Glad you like the videos.
I just did a double overnighter on Dartmoor (solo) in the MSR hubbahubba tent. Got a bit wet on Sunday morning! P.S I’m going out again soon - would potentially buy some of those boil in a bags off you! 🍴
Awesome video Trev....what's this with the good weather again !? You been praying to the hiking gods? 😆 you know when you've found a good sleeping mat when you lay in your tent past sunrise .. don't blow too much air in it .... it will feel like a plank ... it's not like the thick pads it don't give much... nice reviews of new stuff... gotta be happy they worked out 👍👍finally got my new pack (NATUREHIKE Rock series 60L) when it cools down here (it's in the mid 30s C) I'll give it a run out and do a review... take care out there ... ATB Dave Mc
I hadn't blown any air in it, Dave, so your advice must be true... was a decent night sleep and it was so peaceful up there that early in the morning that I didnt want to rush off in a hurry, Thoroughly enjoyed that mini adventure. I'll look forward to your review - I need a newer lightweight pack. Cheers for watching!
Summit Or Nothing .... I loved my self inflator mat .... but it’s just so darn heavy for anything other than just a few miles... my latest mat the Rikki Tikki is very comfy and at 20oz a decent weight ... I have another that’s 12 oz but it’s not as comfy and very slippery... kept falling off it last time I took it out ... may get the trekology air mattress ... hearing some good things about that ... ATB Dave Mc 👍😄
Thank you very much for sharing this. Did you get much condensation on the inside of your tent? Looking forward to your next videos particularly the one when you walk the length of Dartmoor.
I didnt get any condensation actually, which really surprised me. You can see a more indepth look at the tent on my channel. Posted up last week so still fairly high on the recent uploads list!
I saw the bottles (or cartons really) on offer, thought I'd try one. The trouble with the Trespass bag is there is no seperate pockets to stuff things, it all seems to be in the main compartment or in the lid!
I could have sworn you said you were doing the Abbot’s Way ...? Andy way very nice :) what do you use to edit your movies with, I like the music and the transitions. And remember “2 metres, mate’” :)))
Yea, I was going to do the Abbotts Way, until the wife pointed out a post on the Dartmoor FB Group where people were warned away from Nuns Cross area after reports and one hospitalisation from stampeding cows... thought I'd give it a miss on my own.... it is all mentioned in the video. I use Sony Vegas to edit with. And thanks for watching, glad that you like enjoy the video!
Summit Or Nothing haha 😂 you must be kidding... I read that report, cows can be a bit frisky... but I run there regularly and don’t get bothered by them. Why don’t you take Nath and a pantomime costume as a disguise... you’ll have to flip a coin for the rear end 🐮 🐴
Great vid, glad it was good weather but hey don't 'stone the Crow's' nothing wrong with Crows, caw!'' caw!'' or Kah-hah"Kah-hah". Stove looks decent. Lucky the horse in your time lapse didn't trample the cam
Haha! Ok, mate - I'll leave your kith and kin be lol. And I did have to shoo the horse away... politeluy of course (as you can tell by the new channel trailer, I'm somewhat of a horse whisperer! 😂😂
Great video as always Trev. I set out last weekend for a wild camp up near Sharp Tor but was confronted with ‘NO CAMPING’ signs at every access point, even though the Dartmoor website says wild camping is now allowed (in approved areas only of course). I take it the signs are actually out of date rather than anything else? I’m heading out tomorrow night in the Hangershell Rock area regardless as I’m getting cabin fever in the house! Good to see you out and about again and looking forward to seeing more of your adventures.
Cheers Rod. I'm not sure whAt that was all about. I hear that some areas have been shit off since the recent mad rush and abuse by individuals, whether this was one, I'm not sure. As long as you keep low, leave no trace I'm sure that if it's purple on the map you should be fine...
Nice! How did the tent perform? Did you have condensation...? In mine I use to put the traverse pole OVER the main one, having a little more room in high.
Do you guys organise or go to community or group walks? I'm a newbie and regularly go around dartmoor but dont know where to start with it all and it can be dangerous to get it wrong on your own aye
Hi Danielle - I know what you mean - safety in numbers especially if you're not all that confident. I have organised some charity walks in the past on Dartmoor - with twenty or so people getting together - hope to do some more of them as the restrictions are lifted and group gatherings are back on.
I'm not sure - saw a post on the Dartmoor facebook group and then a lot of comments below confirming similar activity up there in the past month or so. Thought I'd rather give it a miss on my lonesome!
How was Cadair Idris mate I’m planning a solo weekend up there in a week or 2 but I’m not the most experienced so if you’ve got any tips I’d be grateful.
It was a long climb on the path that we did - there are other more direct routes up, but I can't really comment on them yet. Our path was well trodden and beautiful though.
Summit Or Nothing cheers mate I’ve only seen pics you should try and get up moel famau one night I stayed up on the summit there last weekend and the sunset was unreal
Great Vid (as per 👍🏻)....I’ve got the exact same inflatable mat (first one I ever tried) and it’s excellent...I trialled mine on Fur Tor and have never been without it since...is it bulky?...yep...but a godsend in my (humble) opinion. Note: I’m noticing more and more litter on the Moor recently, which ‘boils my piss’ quite frankly....it’s getting to the stage where the freedom we enjoy up there will soon be limited by the mindless minority if they’re not careful...someone even dumped a fridge in one of the car parks below Sharpitor/Leather Tor the other week...😡. Anyway, loved the video...👍🏻
I know its absolutely shocking behaviour, and all us RUclipsrs are currently sharing the Leave No Trace mantra but to be honest, I don't think the guilty parties are likely to be watching our vids. They are not wild campers so much as festiival goers with no where to camp...
Summit Or Nothing True...I know I shouldn’t get too bent out of shape about it...you’ll always get people that think the rules don’t apply to them I guess🤷🏼♂️👍🏻
Nice video again mate! What tent pegs do you use? Or if anyone here can help me with good pegs for slightly rockier ground please :) My mate managed to bend a few of my aluminium ones this weekend :( Thankssss
Cheers Tom. These were the standard Naturehike tent pegs, Y shaped aluminium. Shame your mate modified yours, but surely hook shaped poles will hold better 😂
That was one hell of a video. Thanks for filming / editing / sharing it. One thing I noticed (but didn't when I watched your review of the Vik 1) was that there seemed to be a rear vestibule which, although it had no outer door, seemed to have a horizonal zipper on the inside mesh meaning that it could be used for (albeit limited) storage Am I correct? And don't worry about the "Best Before" dates on the boil in the bag meals. The actually last a lot longer than stated but are put on to protect the manufacturers against personal injury claims. Cheers. Ken
Thanks Ken - rea;lly glad that you enjoyed this video, it was great to finally get back out again! There is a zip at the bottom of the side to get in and out of the additional vestibule, I mentioned it in the Vik 1 vs Cloud Up 1 video, but didn't really pay it much attention in these videos. Its a bit naff really, you would struggle fitting your backpack in and out of it, as it literally only undoes along the bottom of it. It would have been better as a full opener...
Another great video.
After watching you and Nath. I was insprised to get up off the sofa and get out for a wild camp. I finally managed to get out for my first wildcamp this weekend.

Thanks Trev👍 Beautiful views 👌

Quality vid.... that spot is now on the list... high contender for my first wildcamp this year.. thx again cant wait to get out atb
Yea, its a stunning little area and nice and easy to to reach without too much of a trek. Cheers for watching!
Another stunning video mate, looking forward to the next one
Thanks very much - really glad that you enjoyed it! Coastal camp next time.
Great camp. Looked like you managed to banish the stress of packing your rucksack!
Yea, I just admitted defeat, chose a closer camp and made the most of it! Good stuff! Thanks for watching!
Great to see you enjoying this camp so much. you obviously needed it ! Great spot and glad to see the crowds dissipated in the end. Now you have got your first camp of the year under your belt all you have to do is to sort out the lockdown hair ! ;) Just kidding.
Hahah! The lockdown has been sorted Mark (spoiler alert) - but yea, was great to get back out on for a camp. Thanks for watching!
See you on Soon for the trip up Oke tor! Just got back from the new forest. Really good fun.
Cool... Have yet to see the new forest. Cheers Chris.
Summit Or Nothing 😲 what?! It’s really nice. Always have fun. Not as aggressive as Dartmoor. Good family camping.
Yea, I am sure they will be fine for a fair while and handy in a rush... Thanks for watching and glad that you enjoyed the video. Cheers 🍷🍷
Great video! Thanks for sharing 😊
No worries, thanks for watching!
Excellent video trev! Those views were stunning!
I had similar happen to me, on a walk in I had a beer explode in my bag and soaked everything! Had to hike back home! 😂 the new gear all looked good, and loved the horse getting in on your time lapse! 🤣 have a good week mate
Ash
Annoying that, mate - it was bad enough happening at home, but yeah, if it happens on the trail.. what a ball-ache. Cheers for watching, chief!
Great video, Trev. Keep them coming.
Cheers, Doug! Thanks for watching!
Cheers!
Great video mate really enjoyed it. All the best 👍
Thank you very much, really glad that you enjoyed it! Take care!
You got some great weather mate. Thinking taking the dog on his first wild camping trip to Dartmoor. Richard
Yea it was a good weekend - hope you're as lucky with the weather when you go Cheers for watching!
Great video Trev, absolute stunning. Love the wild camping vids, even in good weather :) Cheers Joe
Cheers Joe - was good to finally get out and really enjoyed the lie in too. Was a beautiful morning for it! All the best!
Another quality production!
Thanks Peter. Glad you enjoyed it.
When all this cra p blows over,I'm definitely giving dartmoor a visit!
Nice little camp there Trev. Only camped in the Garden so for this year for the Great British Campout, every nice evening I’ve had to get on the moor I’ve been working night shift ... doh 🙄
Isn't that always the way - hope you manage to get out again soon. All the best! Cheers!
27:17 another pony steals the show 😂😂
Hahah... Yea, they're always upstaging me lol
I managed another test of the sleeping pad this weekend just gone
See how that pans out this weekend. Cheers for watching!
Great video trev really enjoyed it
Cheers Terry! Glad to hear it!
Hi Trev after rhis video I decided to get the Vik 1. It's just arrived so looking forward to trying it out.
Ah, cool Phil! I think there has been some modifications to it too as mine is an older model - hope you enjoy it!
Haha! Yea - theres always that worry but usually I just take waaaaay too much haha! And yea, I think you're right about the beers lol.
I mate ive tryed my new vik1 and it performed well in rain and wind.wind was around 30 mph and took it in its stride all night.
Ah, cool - that sounds promising. Thanks for sharing your experience! All the best!
Great video Trev, love it. Was looking at the Vango bag before the video. How freaky
Its a great bag - fairly heavy mind you, but loads of scope for stacking, packing and strapping!
@@SummitOrNothing might give it a shot. Don't want to splash out on an osprey yet.
Great video Trev, glad to see the “grumpiness” at the start soon wears off. 😀
Haha... Not thing was going to plan, but just doing a camp and having no obligations was soon release enough. Absolutely stunning up there.
@@SummitOrNothing oh cool, yes I love mylar bags and save shed loads over wayfarer meals
Watching now Trev
Cheers Al, hope you enjoyed it!
Great Video Again Trev!
Was waiting for the Dartmoor legends to appear!
Cheers Jon - srry to dissapoint with the Dartmoor legends. I had lined up for the Abbotts Way walk actually but didnt do it in the end. Ill get round to one soon for you! Cheers!
Love the look of the tent might have to pick one up ;) must admit i love my jetboil u can have it on full bearly on and everything in-between
There have been a lot of adjustments made to the newer models of the Vik1 so I think they are even better now than this model of mine.
Sounds brilliant, Torunn. I bet that is really stunning. Hope you have a great time. Thanks for watching!
Bloody Grockells everywhere 😂😂 nice one Trev..
Haha! I can neither confirm or dispute that allegation. Cheers for watching!
I'm planning on a camp on sheepstor with a friend of mine during the week using just a tarp setup.
Ah sounds cool. Hope you guys enjoy it Martin.
@@SummitOrNothing always enjoy the moors come rain or shine
Keep it up buddy good vlog 👍🏼
Thank you very much!
Good video mate 👌
Cheers mate.
I agree, I'd love to see "life" vids....
Great video❤❤
Thank you!
I just did a double overnighter on Dartmoor (solo) in the MSR hubbahubba tent. Got a bit wet on Sunday morning! P.S I’m going out again soon - would potentially buy some of those boil in a bags off you! 🍴
Ok mate, I would love to try the hubba Hubba one day. If you're interested in boil Inthe bags email me at info@summitornothing.co.uk
What boil in the bag meals where they? They will more than likely be safe to eat for another year or 2.
Just some military ration packs - Spicy Chicken, Beef Meatballs and tomato Pasta flavours. I'm sure they should be fine.
Was that "The Salt Path" you are reading? I hope you're enjoying it as much as I am. An amazing story.
Yes it was - a great book, made even more enjoyable when its places I can relate to as well.
Dartmoor didn't look like that on Friday morning.....🤣🤣🤣
Hahah! Yeah, you have to pick your weekends carefully 😂😂
I want to hear more about the "docking".
Haha! No... I don't think you do... 😂
Nice to see you back out Trev. Will you be filming 'The Shearing' ?
Hahaha... Unfortunately not.
very entertaining, and i know you will pack out your bottles but wouldnt cans be safer?
What model Tresspass bag are you using? Great video Trev.
The circul8 30L - heres a link amzn.to/2E4X4QB
Great to see you back wild camping Trev. Do you have any knowledge or experience on (Reasonably priced) Osprey bags like the Rook 65L?
Not personally,Nath has used Osprey bags in the past. I will be on the look out for a new backpack soon though.
Nice! How did the tent perform? Did you have condensation...?
In mine I use to put the traverse pole OVER the main one, having a little more room in high.
Didn't have any condensation, when xh surprised me to be honest, unless it all burnt off by the time I eventually woke up lol. Cheers for watching.
Lush 💚
It certainly was a lush area... Or was you taking about me?! 😜🤣
Summit Or Nothing both ofcourse 😬
Cows attacking people at Whiteworks? That's new! (were they Bulls?)
I'm not sure - saw a post on the Dartmoor facebook group and then a lot of comments below confirming similar activity up there in the past month or so. Thought I'd rather give it a miss on my lonesome!
Nice vid Trev. Not sure about your height mate. Can I ask if you think I'd fit in the Vik1? I'm 6'2.
I'm 5'11" but slept on my bag so almost sitting up was fine.
Why the splitting headache Trev? Because you were so high up?🤔😁
Hahah! I think because I had two beers lol
@@SummitOrNothing Perhaps that was too little, headache follows from dehydration ;)
Mylar bags have a zip lock and can then be sealed with an iron so totally airtight
Yea, I took some out last night
Is wild camping allowed now on dartmoor?! If so I'm going this weekend I've been waiting months for this!!
Yes siree Bob. Open for business as usual. Cheers for watching!
Cows that attack people!!!! Time to make some burgers or stew
Haha! Maybe the lady in question was dressed up like Ronald MacDonald haha!
Nice video again mate! What tent pegs do you use? Or if anyone here can help me with good pegs for slightly rockier ground please :) My mate managed to bend a few of my aluminium ones this weekend :( Thankssss
forgot to mention, ration packs will be good after the best before date for a lonngggg time.
I warned you about murder cows.
That you did, George!
Great vid 👍
Thanks mate!
