This tent is somewhat of a game changer. Not many comparisons available. Your videos are thorough and honest . The newer version comes with guylines . At the money it's a serious tent . Has some flaws but don't they all , and certainly at higher prices . Great channel btw , greetings from Ireland 🇮🇪👌
Thanx for your honesty on the condensation of the tent. I was in Dartmoor for 8 days and 7 nights. First night on saturday 26th at a beautiful location in my lanshan. Got there late as I was travelling from Southampton. Moon was out which I was happy about. But the next morning just chilling in the tent. Lovely day. The other days and nights at a legal campsite mostly under the tarp in the rain from Sunday 27th September -Saturday 3rd October. Just watched this video now and I said out loud while sitting next to my partner. Great video and turned to her and said he is the reason why I started to go to Dartmoor. Thanx Trevor. Karl
Its all my fault then, lol. Such a shame about the weather, Karl. It has been horrendous this last week, hope you get better luck with it in future. Thanks for watching and really glad rhat I've helped to encourage you to our national park.
@@SummitOrNothing I intentionally came to Dartmoor for the wind and rain to test my tarp and the way I set it up. And to have a fire under a tarp in the open as well as the tent. The naturehike cloud peak did it's job well. Just a way of getting in the tent without the rain dripping in which you open the doors from top down. This is has been the longest I have been put camping. Plus I got to drive in the fog and rain which improves my driving. A escapism for me as I am working. Maybe January or February I will return. And do a wildcamp at sweltor quarry next foggintor again hoping no one will be there. Back to my woodland camps from now on which is more protected from the rain and wind. Due to being in the heart of the wood. And no one being there . Maybe just one dog walkers which walks by twice a week. Anyways keep on doing what your doing which is always making me explore Dartmoor if it is not raining. Thanx Trevor as always. Karl
@@SummitOrNothing thanks for that Trev. Reason why I ask is i was out on 27th on Wild Tor expecting it to be as cold as you had it. I was only wearing trousers, socks and a t-shirt in a Vango (+2 comfort) sleeping bag. Coming to the conclusion I'm a warm sleeper but trying not to get caught out.
Great little tent. I do like the single skins. However it’s for that couple of special days where it’s not to light and the airs just right so you don’t get all wet inside. Thanks for sharing. God bless.
Summit Or Nothing I was thinking of an idea for a video. Although I think I’d rather see someone else do it. The idea is a look back at the “good old days”. A look at the kit we had as kids and how far the camping gear has come. Basically I was just thinking about all the crap gear we used to have and how this generation has good gear realy cheep. Just can’t see why more people don’t get out. I’m in a wheelchair and I’m fighting to get back out.
Absolutely brilliant stuff as always Trev showing my favourite place on earth to its fullest. Haha! I think we mentioned in one of our videos how it feels like time travelling watching our older videos lol. Thanks for watching, hope that you enjoy them!
We felt every part of the chill with you on this one trev! Get a decent meal next time! Bloody cuppa soup is not gunna insulate you man! More Dartmoor legends. Loved it. Take care 👍👍
Was a bit nippy up there - to be honest, I had a massive fry up before I left and wasn't all that hungry up top. The cuppa soup hit the spot but yeah, probably not the best central heating loll. Thanks for watching! Hope you're all keeping well. Cheers!
Brilliant video Trev, some really beautiful shots in there. I know that was cold as hell but I can't wait to get back on to the moor, there's a whole new feeling to it this time of year.
I know exactly what you mean, Chris! I'm also excited to get back out although I have just got myself a better winter sleeping bag. I want to be toasty from here on in lol. Thanks for watching!
Spectacular views! I think we (Norway) got the weather the UK should have had this time of year - wet and mild. The last time I went camping my pack was almost as heavy as yours (and I'm a tiny woman in my mid-fifties, so stop whining). Instead of desperately trying to reduce the weight of our packs I think we should start a new channel together; The ultraheavy backpackers LOL
Hahah! Yea, I don't know what went in there to make it so heavy. The backpack is a heavy one to start with, I know that, and my bivvy / sleeping bag set up weighs a bit. Hopefully I can get that right down because I wouldn't want to walk too far carrying that. And yep - it does sound like you have our weather. Is it grey all the time? If so, yea, that'll be ours lol. Thank you for watching!
Just got back from a 3 day wild camp along the pedars way trail. Can't wait to get back out there, love the videos mate, great editing, the time stamps, music and camera work are all spot on. You're going to be a very big channel if you keep this up! Big fan!
Really enjoyed these vids since finding this channel. Trev you are a Dartmoor legend! In fact at 3:38 you look like a headless hiker lol. Keep them coming.
Cold conditions + Clear night + Single skin tent = What did you expect? But.... I'm super jealous as I would have swapped places in a flash. I too am willing to experiment with gear and accept that sometimes I have to live with the consequences of my choices! Good on ya' mate.
Yea, I knew what I was in for but really wanted to test the Vik 1 in any condition other than fine wetaher haha. Packing it up til the spring now though. Thanks for watching!
I was tempted to come back to Dartmoor for a winter camp! I'm not so sure now I know it's cold at this time of year 🤣😂 you're brave using the one skin tent Trev. 👍
You should do it, Lee. Somenights when its murky up there its a lot milder - i think the clear skies, the single skinned tent all made it feel much colder! Cheers for watching!
Fun Video thanks. I used this tent in the desert and the evening was chilly but no condensation. Seems the perfect tent for summer use when there s chance of rain but you don’t feel like hauling a tent with a fly. This one is simple and seems decently made long as not cold. That Vango tent you mentioned That Soul 200 is a beast its so warm compared to Vix1 bit heavy but is great tent for the cost i m a fan. I never see anyone with Vango In the USA.
Nice one, Trev, and a good tor to camp on, one I hadn't considered and will put on my list if I ever get out wild camping! A mist inversion in the West Okement valley would be a bonus. When you're next at West Mill Tor, get yourself to Little Tor. ATB Max.
Yea, I am waiting for another inversion - that's why I keep hovering by the higher tors lol. Was a good spot, Max - and you should definitely get yourself out for a camp. No better way to experience Dartmoor!
Hi Trev Love watching your videos, very inspirational, so much so that I’m planning on doing my 1st solo wild camp in 17yrs lol. Heading to Merrivale this weekend for a 2night camp (recommend by yourself). Should have gone last weekend but storm Alex put a stop to that. Ain’t gonna lie, bit anxious but dead excited.
Carl, you will have a great time, I'm sure.In and around that area there is plenty to see and you are never too far from the car - so good luck and I hope the weather plays nice for you. All the best!
Great video, I’ve been considering a Vik 1 for some time to use for bike packing and fairer weather, I always knew condensation would be an issue but after seeing this video I’ll definitely be looking for another tent. Cheers
Yea, as I mention - not sure if it is a problem that they have solved in the upgrade - I hope to test it out next year and find out! Cheers for watching!
'Lynn, I'm not driving a Mini Metro'. Guessing the Sea to Summit liner didn't perform anywear near as advertised Trev? I'm still not convinced by mine at all. Great to see you've invested in a nice cosy down bag for future trips. Chilly nights are no fun! All the Best. Rich.
Brilliant video and it is good to hear another ghost story. I was ready to be scared, but I think we'd all like a ghost like that to visit us! Bring it on 👻
Fantastic* The way you captured the landscape - utterly stunning* The skill & efforts in involved in your film editing - Amazing* Your story telling - I love* Thank you Trev :-) You have helped me fall in love with Dartmoor*
Thank you for that, an insight. I am going camping 23rd/24th of this month provided its not torrential rain, it'l be our last camp this year (only the 2nd). You're an inspiration.
A bit parky there Trev.... 🥶🥶 not a soul around I see that was nice .... glad the Vik 1 stood up to the beating .... I wish they did it in some muted colors .... that new khaki color from 3F UL would be perfect against that browning grass... heck wander too far and you might not find it again 😄😂 .... it was a lovely story read it again Trev!!! Pleeeze!!! 😂😂 Grand video as always thanks for sharing ... take care ATB Dave Mc
There was actually two guys turned up and sat next to those two sheds watching over me whilst the sunset - I waited for them to clear off before I filmed myself putting the tent up. Typical - I thought they were never going to clear off haha! I can't blame them though - it was a great location. I know what you mean about the Vik 1 colour, but to be honest, against the Granite tors I reckon it would blend from a distance. Thanks for watching, Dave!
Great vid Trev. I recently sold my Vik 1 as just couldn't get over the condensation issue. Great wee tent otherwise but dripping water in the night was not my mate!
Great video, I was up Great Links Great Nodden and Brat Tor a few weeks ago after watching one of your videos, when staying at Lydford in the motorhome, fantastic.👍
I have the same camping cup like you. You can boil the water directly in the cup without need of heating up that pot. The heat doesn't damage the enamel coating at all.
Looks great. I like wide open desolate areas and would probably love camping there. I was looking hard at the Vik 1 but didn't like the condensation issues. Cheers
Sounded a blowy old night but a nice sunny day, despite the temperature drop and I can see why you packed comfort over weight. Loved the night shots and the new Olight really lights up the area. I think a hot cup a soup was a great idea but when that zip stuck, I thought you were in for a rough night mind. Cheers Alan
Yea, that bloody zip - I have been afraid of that happening - it always feels like it wants to catch, plus those teeth aren't very big - I don't know what I would have done if that had broke on me... Stay calm and carry on probably hahaha! Cheers for watching, Alan!
A lot of comments about condensation obviously but surprised you had any at all with that wind 🤔 good to see you out again. Hopefully will be on dartmoor again next week. What's your most picturesque spot you've been to? 👍
Hi Trev, great video, I always laugh, always imagine you setting up the camera and walking back for those approaching shots, you need a cameraman 😂 Love your videos anyway ....... Summit or nothing!!!!! 👍🏻
Needs must! It makes a better video than 20mins of shaky camera and my moon head filling the screen lol. Besides, if you think Julia Bradbury just gets on with a walk whilst someone runs around behind her filming, I can safely say that she does probably more toing and froing than me lol. Thanks for watching!
I had the same problem as you Trev. The zip caught on the cover. Unfortunately, the zip bust completely before I was able to work it free. I now have the VIK 2 and again the same problem with the zip.
Great vid as per usual, cracking moon shot, I was half expecting to see the Soup Dragon or a Clanger peering back. Seemed to have a lot of condensation there Trev, too much. I'll be using a Helm 2 on my far NW Scotland expedition for 4 nights soon and am hoping the double skin does a decent job. My mate is taking his Cloud Up 2. Your reviews tempted him into getting the Cloud Up so lets see how it fares :)
Tell him to stick the two additional guy lines to the sides and one to the rear window for good measure - that one seems to make all the difference! Cheers for watching, John!
Cheers Will. Yeah, make the most of the area near you, mate - Dartmoor ain't going nowhere. Stay safe at Uni... and no wreckless partying! Thanks for watching!
It's hard to imagine that these vast grassy hills in Dartmoor were all once covered with dense old-growth oak forests... which now lie at the bottom of the seven seas.
Hi Trev, just come back from 10 days on dartmoor. We were up on High Willhays on 3/10/2020. 30 mph winds, driving rain, 50m vis. It was amazing, but couldnt see much. :-). Anyway no point having a miserable windy wet night on dartmoor unless you have Nath there to suffer with you in his hankerchief come tarp setup :-). Looks like you had better weather than us.
Haha! Yea - Nath would have probably bought the rain as well lol. Shame the weather wasn't so kind to you this week, but that is all part of the Dartmoor experience. Im sure you had a great time anyway. Thanks for watching!
great stuff trev , was out myself last week up the mourens in the banshee and had to get down because of the wind, was thinking about getting the vik , but after my experience might just stick to the banshee 200 , as always enjoyed your trip , stay safe 👍⛺️🔥
The newest version does have 3 guy ropes and the vents can only be opened or shut from the outside. It's one of the fastest tents to pitch and break up. Downside for me is that the mesh on the doors runs down to deep so cold wind does get in too easy under the fly sheet of the vestibules. But hey, it's a single skin tent and they probably wanted as much ventilation as possible.
Great video as usual. Just changed my sleeping system (changed I haven't been out at all as a newbie lol). I'm going to use one son in law gave me. 2 military sleeping bags a lightweight inside winter one then bivvy. Always take your advice on board.
Yea - I did find this set up (summer down inside the bivvy) was a bit too cold this time - but maybe had a lot to do with the single skinned tent. However, I decided that from now on, I want to be toasty when I camp so I have just gone and got me a decent winter down which I will do a first look video of this week. Thanks for watching!
Great vid Trev im looking at doing a circular in the cairngorms , but gonna wait until summer after seeing you , im only a mild weather hiker anyway. keep them coming cheese .
Great to see you have had a good night out Trev, Was try to work out what bumping your weight up. Anyhow great vid as always good to see your doing ok.
I think the backpack is heavy to start, then the sleeping bag / bivvy combo, then the large roll mat - that kicks it up a great deal to start before counting water food extra clothes etc.., I think the next thing I need is a lightweight backpack. Cheers for watching, Tony, hope you are keeping well.
Love the tent seems like a really good design i always prefer liingle skin tents alot less hassle to put up, and i never feel the double skins add extra heat, i ended up getting the tarp tent scarp one with the solid interior and the optional crossing polls. Itching to try it out
Yea, this is a great little tent - realy easy to put up - but the condensation is considerable to be honest - especially this time of year when you can't have the door lifted open through the night. Hope you enjoy your new tent when you finally get to test it out
Hi Trev, love the videos and your adventures. Really enjoy the Dartmoor Legends and the Ghost stories. How about camping out at one of the spooky places and doing a story and video? If you're Man enough😁 take Nath with you if you're not👍
Cheers Andy. Glad that you enjoyed it. Usually, I do tell a story relevant to the area I'm camping in, and we even once camped besides Wistmans Wood, which is supposed to be one of the most haunted places in the moor. And I wasn't even scared..... much... 🤣🤣😱
Lovely stuff, Trev. As you said, will be interesting to see what Naturehike do to improve that single skin tent. Seems like a bit of an impossible task to reduce all condensation in those circumstances.
From what I see that most youtubers that I follow they dont recommend any other youtubers at the end of the video. Interesting. Looks like I have some unique personality here :D because in my 7 videos I recommended 7 different channels that might interest different groups of people watching yt. How does it work I dont know haha Trev I am planning to visit Dartmoor in December maybe, but bikepacking. Btw that single skin Naturehike must be freezing inside, probably same cold as my mongar 2p. Great channel dude.
Another great video. Couldn't you try running some guys off the poles to give it some more strength in the wind a great little tent but I wish they did it in a green
I think its cause we never really get into that deep sleep that we do at home, and I think dreams occur the closer we are to consciousness, but yeah... they are always bizarre too.
Ah a proper Summit or Nothing wild camp... Well at least the wind part... I have yet to see a tent zipper that won't snag on occasion.. Ha a friendly ghost.... You sure his name was not Casper....LOL Yes summer is over I am afraid ... 😢
Hi Trev, yep great video! - Just got back yesterday from what was probably my last Dartmoor wild camp this year - Head of the leat by Longaford Tor - Cold, but not freezing like yours - have searched your videos and can't see any on the East Devon Way - for the last decade plus I have been voluntarily looking after it, waymarker-wise - I'd like to interest you in walking it and doing a video - I do have a field where you can camp about a kilometre from Colyton if it would help - not far off the waymarked link from Beer on the Jurassic Coast to the East Devon Way - Cheers
Hi Mike - that sounds lie a great challenge - maybe what I should do next to raise some funds for the Dartmoor rangers along the way - and I see that they hand out certificates as they go. That's on my list of things to do - and I shall contact you for a place to pitch for sure. Thanks very much for the heads up. Cheers!
I liked that story good one. Been testing out a new tent I picked up the Hike&Byke Zion 2P in forest green it’s big and very water proof I put it through some serious Florida down pours and wind. What are those white box’s up there radio stations or something? Great vids Trev thanks a lot and keep up the great work!
They are some kind of military shed I think - not quite sure to be honest - I really should find out. That sounds a great little tent - I may have to have a look into it! Thanks for watching and commenting! Cheers!
Great video Trev . I have just ordered a new 1 man tent a naturhike ultralight camping 1 man tent . It’s a new updated one it’s Dark Green 1.3kg . Ali express You might like it 👍.Cheers Graham 👍
Single walled tents will always be a nightmare in condensation. They are usefull in dry climates, but not in the UK in fall. If you’re getting cold, add layers *under you*, rather than on top of you. Bring a thin cheap yoga matt to go under the self-inflatable.
Yep - I think youre right - this tents going into storage for several months now. And yep - sound advice about layering down - a lot of heat gets sucked through the ground! Thanks for watching!
Another great video Trev, glad you are feeling better. You have an uncanny ability to tell a meaningful story on film. I reckon you could make a film about watching paint dry and people would find it interesting! Will you move up to a double skinned tent over winter? Personally I use my OEX Phoxx 2 all year round despite the irritation of having to put the inside up first in the rain!
Thanks Rod. I will certainly be going double skin from now on. I have a few options but probably the cloud up 2 and banshee I reckon. Cheers for watching.
Stunning views, your a super trooper camping in the cold but if you have the gear then why not 😉. I cheered when I heard you say Dartmoor legend. Made me laugh, aw man it was nice 👍. How do you find the vango rucksack ?
Thanks Anne, glad that you enjoyed the video... and the legend. The Vango backpack is a double edged blade really I like that it fits my back well and that it is roomy and has all the pockets I like to fit stuff into... the biggest gripe I have with it is that it is blooming heavy to start with. Thanks for watching 😁
Condensation in a single skin is unavoidable in certain conditions, but you're not doing yourself any favours boiling water inside the tent Trev haha. Nice video, good man for getting out. I got caught in the storm whilst out in my Lanshan 1 Pro on 30th Sept, I honestly thought it was going to come down in the wind.
Yea, I thought that at the time haha! Buggered if I was having that door open to cook though. Brass monkeys up there haha! Sounds like the Lanshan did you proud up there. Cheers for watching!
@@SummitOrNothing haha! Yeah I know the feeling. Thankfully I had a break in the weather enough to get some water boiling for my small flask and noodles. Since this trip I've sworn I will always carry my 500ml thermos flask plus some decaf teabags for an evening brew. That way you can wake up in the night to a warm cuppa that won't keep you awake but will keep you warm - genius haha
I'm thinking about getting the tent but the inside always looks drenched. You can see it reflecting in the light. I've seen other youtubers use it as well and im still unsure. Good video as always mate.
I thin k that there is a newer version in which the condensation isnt as much of a problem. I absolutely love this little tent, if it wasn't for that issue... but I'm probably putting it away until the spring now.... was bloody cold.
@@SummitOrNothing thanks for the reply mate. Yeah Im really unsure on it. Ive seen alot of people using the nature hike helm 2 and that seems solid. But seems to be hard to get hold of.
@@SummitOrNothing I have the new version, I think they are same regarding condensation. Have pitched near lakes four times without wind. Three times in warm weather this summer and had little condensation, didn't wipe it off with cloth. Fourth and last time was in september with massive fog, almost like fine rain, and very near a lake. I had much condensation (like in your video) and wiped it off once in the morning. But had no dripping inside, only some dampness on quilt after touching the walls. Yes, codensation can be a problem but that is true for many single walled tents. I also like the Vik1. Easy to set up, good space inside and light. Yes door design isn't any good and same on updated version. Not perfect tent but good for price and being single walled.
Are you just referring to new version still the same name? Or did they change the name?. I got mine today finally. A biy late to check it out outsite for me 😂... It was a loooong wait.
I am considering this tent. Trevs friends and Trev can you share the model numbers of your old and new versions so I can make sure I order the new version. I did try to order it off ebay but it is unavailable
This is the first version - I think they have tried to do much more to combat condensation with the newer model, but still can't say one way or another until I give it a try!

Yea, without that biting wind you could have thought it was summer! Cheers for watching!
@@SummitOrNothing 👍
I like that ghost story ❤️ Glad the stories are back 👍🏼 I so love those daybreak colours!
Thanks very much - I do like a Dartmoor legend too - looking forward to telling Nath one when we get back out together lol. Thanks for watching!
Nice one Trev. Some great footage. Just waiting to get my knee replaced then heading back out onto the moor to celebrate. Stay safe.
Good luck with the knee op. Hope you are back up on them there hills in no time. Thanks for watching!
Hi Trev
Love watching your videos, very inspirational, so much so that I’m planning on doing my 1st solo wild camp in 17yrs lol.
Have you make a desicion? I am also looking for a nordic summer bike tent.

Great video as always, stunning time-lapses 👍👏👊
Thanks Chris!
Bring it on 👻
Too right, Ashley - more money giving ghosts please haha! Cheers for watching!
Quality video Trev, spot on ... well in those conditions, a cuppa tea would of been class. A hot chocky will do I guess.
Cant beat a hot choc last thing at night and a coffee chocolate first thing in the morning! Cheers for watching!
Fantastic* The way you captured the landscape - utterly stunning* The skill & efforts in involved in your film editing - Amazing* Your story telling - I love* Thank you Trev :-) You have helped me fall in love with Dartmoor*
Thats what I am here to do, share the moors how I see it. Thanks you very much for watching!

Great 👍 it’s too windy night but the place is amazing
Yea, it was blustery up there, but worth it to wake up to tose views. Thanks for watching!
Superb video enjoyed it
Thank you for that, an insight. I am going camping 23rd/24th of this month provided its not torrential rain, it'l be our last camp this year (only the 2nd). You're an inspiration.
Thank you for watching, Michaela. Hope that you have a great time and that the weather improves for you. all the best!
Awesome Trev, fair play in that weather, was watching with a few cold Guinness and an hot curry! Hehe. Keep it up mate best wishes.
Nice - best way to watch me Andre! Cheers!
Great vid Trev. I recently sold my Vik 1 as just couldn't get over the condensation issue. Great wee tent otherwise but dripping water in the night was not my mate!
No, with the wind it kept flicking it down all night. Annoying. Good job I was in a bivvy lol. Thanks for watching!
@@SummitOrNothing how did you find it for drying out in the morning? Mine always took forever, even in warm sunny weather.
I was gonna buy a vik but seeing that there's a lot of condensation. I didn't buy
Great video, I was up Great Links Great Nodden and Brat Tor a few weeks ago after watching one of your videos, when staying at Lydford in the motorhome, fantastic.👍
Brilliant! A beautiful area that! Hope that you enjoyed it! Cheers!
I have the same camping cup like you. You can boil the water directly in the cup without need of heating up that pot. The heat doesn't damage the enamel coating at all.
I once spent a night in one of those exact army units due to tent failure. It was chuffin' cold that night too !
Great vid as always. 👍👍👍
I can imagine - like tin fridges! Cheers for watching!
Awesome overnighter trek. Sure looks lovely up there.
Yea it certainly is something else up there. Thanks for watching!
Now that is a hard call. There are so many picturesque areas. Generally anywhere on the North Moor. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!
love the videos - heading out to Dartmoor on the weekend and fully inspired now!
Brilliant! Hope you enjoy it and the weather is kind to you. Thanks for watching!
@@SummitOrNothing aye he already did this 👍🏼
One more very nice video and edititing. Big like 👍 from me! I also love hiking, camping, fishing and make some videos. Keep on!!!
Thank you very much - glad that you enjoyed the video. Keep on yourself - no better place than the outdoors!
Great video 👍 I was on edge when I seen the zip caught on the tent but glad you got it sorted in the end. Adam
So was I. That would have been a long night with the door stuck open!
Great watch as usual Trev. Ghost was a bit wimpy, mind 😉 Really like that tent, but I reckon you are right - Spring/Summer only. ATB!
I didnt want to scare myself too much lol. Cheers for watching!
Love the new camera work!! I’m missing Dartmoor, just moved up to Durham for uni so I’ll have to resort to the Pennines and Cheviots I think :(
Cheers Will.
Great vid, with all the cold shots. Keep it up
Thanks very much - glad that you enjoyed it! Cheers !
nice vid Trev 👍👍👍🤙🤙
Cheers Craig!
Great pics aswell..
Thank you!
Another great video Trev, cheers. Not sure about that single skinner this time of year though brrrrr.🥶
No - its time to put the Vik 1 away til spring, I think. Cheers for watching!
I knew you were going to shout summit or nothing at that moment great video very well edited
Predictable and repetitive i know lol. Cheers for watching
great stuff trev , was out myself last week up the mourens in the banshee and had to get down because of the wind, was thinking about getting the vik , but after my experience might just stick to the banshee 200 , as always enjoyed your trip , stay safe 👍⛺️🔥
Yea, i would choose a banshee over the vik. The vik is good fun and light, but its only really suitable for fair weather id say. Cheers for watching!
Yea, you're probably right. That mesh is the only real ventilation going, but does limit the tent to the summer..Thanks for the info. Cheers !
Haha! Yea, I dont blame you lol. Good luck with that when you finally get around to it! Thanks foe watching!
Nice one bud...loving the vids 👌.
Keep it up
Cheers Mike - thanks for watching!
Great vid thx
Love the tent seems like a really good design i always prefer liingle skin tents alot less hassle to put up, and i never feel the double skins add extra heat, i ended up getting the tarp tent scarp one with the solid interior and the optional crossing polls. Itching to try it out
Yea, this is a great little tent - realy easy to put up - but the condensation is considerable to be honest - especially this time of year when you can't have the door lifted open through the night. Hope you enjoy your new tent when you finally get to test it out
@@SummitOrNothing I could not really tell is it solid or solid/mesh interior?
@@danieldevlin391 its solid, with mesh sides
Hi~! i'm korean. I like your video,

Very brave taking the Vik1 Trev. Good watch though. :)
Yea, think that'll be its last trip out this year. Shame. I have really enjoyed using it. I'll get myself the upgrade next year.

Nice one Trevor the cold is definitely here now mate I've never been on dartmoor atvb Jimmy 😎😎
You should have a look down here one day, Jimmy - you'll love it, I'm sure! And yep - winters well and truly on its way.
Cricky, that looked chilly 🥶 never mind the ghosts it’s the bloody living you need to fear! They do you more harm!!!
Yea, i think you could be right, Andy.
And I wasn't even scared..... much... 🤣🤣😱
Good video mate. Really enjoyed it 👍
Thanks very much!
Great vid mate
Thank you !
Lovely stuff, Trev. As you said, will be interesting to see what Naturehike do to improve that single skin tent. Seems like a bit of an impossible task to reduce all condensation in those circumstances.
Yea, im hoping to grab one next year. Thanks for watching.
Yea, I reckon you could, shawn! And yea, a darker green wouldn't go amiss.
I dunno what it is with camping but I always have weird vivid dreams.
I think its cause we never really get into that deep sleep that we do at home, and I think dreams occur the closer we are to consciousness, but yeah... they are always bizarre too.
Thanks once again for an entertaining video. Rather you than me in a single skin - I gather they can be quite cold???? 😀
This was a great tent for teh summer - but yeah, once that temperature dropped.... forgeddabaoutit!
Ah a proper Summit or Nothing wild camp... Well at least the wind part... I have yet to see a tent zipper that won't snag on occasion.. Ha a friendly ghost.... You sure his name was not Casper....LOL Yes summer is over I am afraid ... 😢
Yep, you're quite right. Weathers turned now. Time for the eventful camping from here lol. cheers for watching, Max
Good for you, but you made me feel the cold with all that it as cold business. Thanks for sharing.stay safe..
Did I mention it was cold? I didnt realise I had lol. Thanks for watching!

The Vango backpack is a double edged blade really
I like that it fits my back well and that it is roomy and has all the pockets I like to fit stuff into... the biggest gripe I have with it is that it is blooming heavy to start with. Thanks for watching 😁
Summit Or Nothing thanks for that insight to the backpack, hmmm the search goes on lol
Show de bola 👏👏👏🇧🇷
Tell me how the VIK handles condensation on calm, humid nights...?
Congratulations on the video. Did you approve of Vik? Recommend ??
A little issue with condensation - which I think has been addressed in newer editions, but to be honest, I really loved this little tent!
That condensation is too much thanks for video saved me buying it
This is the first version - I think they have tried to do much more to combat condensation with the newer model, but still can't say one way or another until I give it a try!
