The only problem with the trigger is that people treat it as a..... trigger whereas if you hold the vacuum as if you were holding a broomstick, that is with the middle part of your index finger tightly wrapped around the handle, it costs you no effort at all but greatly saves battery life. It is a shame that Dyson does not teach people how to properly hold their vacuums, and it's a pity that there is no trigger on Dyson micro which needs it the most
On these you can change the batteries if you need to. Some of the models have a couple of screws in place to take the battery out and on some of the newer models, it is a button to switch and the battery comes out.
