*A great vacuum for the price. The suction is awesome. Excellent for pet hair. The beater attachment works great **MyBest.Tools** on the stairs. Not too heavy and easily maneuvered.*
*This is my 3rd Crosswave in several years **MyBest.Tools** I use it several times a day. It sees hard use. Best floor cleaning machine ever. I’d never be without one.*
I love my Dyson Outsize! The extra battery was a seller for me, but with the larger cleaning head and the power of the vacuum it is rarely used. Still when I need it, I need it. If the Outsize is to expensive, don't worry about the smaller models running out of power. If you can afford it and you are just wondering if it is worth it, the answer is YES.
I currently have v10 and love it! I only ran out of power twice in the past year or so I’ve had it. I’m looking to upgrade to the outsize & keep the 10 for backup or to keep upstairs. Thanks for selling me on the upgrade👍 Also, I used to have the V8 which was great too. My big complaint with the new models, like the 10, is the canister. I like the old “direction” it was built in so I didn’t have to remove attachments to empty. If they would just go back to sideways canister with longer run time it’d be awesome!
I purchased my first Dyson in 2006. We JUST received our Outlast Absolute yesterday. I think you can guess by now how impressive Dyson’s technology is! I know I don’t have to research several vacuum cleaners. Thanks for this video! Now I know how to use it!
Did the suction on your old dyson change during its use? Meaning, did the suction lesson over the years. I've never had a dyson before, but I'm leaning towards the latest, Outlast Absolute, has I have 2 dogs that shed relentlessly all year long. If the suction remains the same throught it's life span, I'll definitely feel that I can justify it's price point. Thanks for your feedback.
Thank you for yet another very useful video. My husband bought me one last week. My first port of call when I get any new electrical kit is you! You just explain things so well. I found the instructions told me what not to do rather than how to work the blooming thing. Lord’s Electrical comes to the rescue!👏👏
Thank you. I watched this as i needed to repack my Dyson Outsize to return it. The neck of the fluffy lazed head broke 18 months into the 2 year warranty and as there are no replacements in stock they are swapping the whole vacuum, cleaner for a new one. Sadly not the same model, and it does seem excessive but impressive customer service. I have loved having 2 batteries, and the larger cleaning head makes pretty short work of cleaning, and I will miss these two features.
I am taking a look around for the time may come when I need to replace my cordless Lithium Black & Decker, which I have to say has been very good and is very lightweight. I do also have an electrical/plug in old Dyson that got serviced almost every year and is still running/working and is used every so often, but is avoided more and more because of the larger size and weight. However, a few years ago what made me get a cordless was that I adopted a lovely cat whereupon use of his litter tray would lead to the need of hoovering the litter that he would leave outside his tray after a frantic mad dig up, not having to pull out wire and plug, made for a quicker clean up and eventually used more and more. The Dyson price tag is very off-putting, but also the physical weight, but the Dyson has good reputation and well manufactured but when one considers that one could buy a second hand car for this price, but then that won't help do the housework/cleaning now, will it. You are very right to mention the way items are packaged these days because some manufacturers seems completely clueless and can overdo but most undergo to package correctly and their products end up damaged in the process. People need to remember that if they have a garden or allotment, there is really no need to throw out their plain cardboard packaging as it can be useful in the garden to help make compost or just to kill/ cover the weeds and not throw into the waste collection and those whom like fishing can encourage the worms, whom multiply under the cardboard, which they love. Thanks for doing the video, you seem to becoming expert in this field.
Just ordered on pal! I think it's time to upgrade now Dyson have eventually cracked it with the battery supply and the bigger bin! Going to get rid of my Vax 4 Blade and Dyson corded machine as again Dyson have answered all my queries regarding sitting in the fence all this time. Great informative video keep up the good work and stay safe! Thankyou.
just got it recently and it is hard to disconnect the red tube from the bin so I can empty it. Called Dyson and they just said to put some oil on it after wiping it off? it's hard to empty the bin when I can't get the red tube off
Mine did not come with everything in this video 😡 but the suction and ease of this vacuum is amazing. I wish they didn’t sell some without all the attachments. Mine didn’t come with the extra battery
I've never owned a Dyson. I have a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and a Jack Russell who shed year round. Does the suction really last for the life of the vacuum? I am looking at purchasing the Outsize Absolute (directly through Dyson website) with the crevice tool built into the wand. I ALWAYS use this tool, so in my opinion, having it already attached is wonderful. However, the $969.99 (USD) price tag leaves me a tad bit breathless. Has this machine gone through enough updates and changes to warrant that kind of money? Is there another model coming out that will make regret purchasing now? With the larger bin, extra battery and built in crevice tool I feel like it's the right time to buy. What do you think? Also, is the floor stand better than wall mount? I've heard a lot of negative things about the wall mount. Thank you!
This is a great vacuum and there isn't a lot else on the market to compete with this. If the bin capacity and runtime is really important then this model sounds like it is ideal for you. We haven't heard anything about any new models arriving to replace this as well.
@@lords-electrical what about the suction? I know this tech is what they're known for, but everyone upgrades when the latest machine comes out, but they never mention if it's because the suction became less, or if it's just because it's the latest and greatest. We're not people who follow trends and have to have the latest greatest thing just because. If I can't rely on the suction throughout it's lifespan then I can't justify the price and won't purchase.
Thank you Lord’s Electrical. Think Dyson should have brought out the swap out battery sooner. The over sized torque head looks great. The fluffy layer is good too. Think the V15 Detect needs more of an interpretation so it a nor,al human can understand the graphs. This Dyson is for big homes. Not for owners who like their Dyson to fester with nasties for too long.

Is the spare battery standard in every box? Had a look on their website and all I see is that it comes with free $29 gift and a $149 free stand

Just unboxed ours and waiting for the batteries to charge. But now I know how to use everything thanks to your video. Thanks so much!
The woman in Currys, who sold me mine today, said not to use the lazer head on any kind of carpet and its just for hard floors only. Great video !

I just got my Dyson Outsize Absolute+! Love it! It's my first cordless and love the convenience. The laser head is awesome.
Found the video very helpful. Never had a dyson and your video helped me get familiar with it. Thank you

That was a wonderful review! 👏. Thank you. We get our Outlast absolute+ in a few days.

Thats great hope you enjoy the vacuum
The engineering in the packaging is insane!
It is very good, i was very impressed
Seems like real viable option now with the extra swappable batteries
Why is everyone comparing it to the v11 and not the v15 detect plus. A true comparison that will make all the difference.
Fair comment, but the V15 isn't really around yet in the market yet, i know Dyson themselves have it but not many retailers have it yet

Is the battery for the V11 Outsize same in size/dimensions as the V11 absolute?
Love your Chanel your a great help thank you
Thank you for the video, I enjoyed it, but I need a better explanation about recharging the battery and its application to the machine. Thank you.
Why the outsize doesn’t have the rubber ring to protect from stuff coming up like the v11 ?

A fantastic video! Extremely helpful and informational. Thank you so much!!
Is the fluffy head the same size as the normal outsize head?
No, fluffy head is a lot smaller than the normal outsize head
Thank you so much for sharing this great and useful video🌹🌹😍😍🙏
No problem glad it was useful for you
You failed to mention the fact that it blows the dust everywhere when you are using just the tool on the head, i.e wooden stairs
My partner bought me this today thinking it was a Dyson v15 am thinking of taking it back is the v15 much different?

Yes it's certainly an impressive vacuum and the larger sized torque head can save on vacuuming time as well. Thanks again
before reveiew you need to charge battery
Also you have to hoover really slowly
is the same as the Outsize Absolute +
What does outsize mean ?
Outsize mainly implies it has a larger capacity bin and longer runtime than the standard models
Is this a v15 outsize?
No, this is the new Outsize Absolute, i think it is called different models in different countries which is confusing sometimes.

It’s absurdly heavy unfortunately
Yes that is one downside, they are a lot heavier than some of the other Dyson cordless
@@lords-electrical Currently in two minds if i should return it. It has many positives but not sure i want an arm/hand ache every time i use it!

It is not outsize if the Fluffy head is not as wide as the motor head .. Its a huge disappointment.
