  • Our Dyson DC59 has been steadily losing suction over the last year and I decided to try and sort the issue out. After I cleaned the filter, cleaned the motorised head and stripped down and cleaned the cyclone assembly the vacuum was back to full suction!

This video is a game changer for the performance and life of your vacuum. Thank you for making this informative and simple to follow video. I really appreciated the added insights on tips, tricks, and things you might run into and most importantly that you took the time to show the reassembly step by step -instead of saying something like “now put it back together in the reverse order you took it apart” which sounds fine at the time, but I have found *more than once unfortunately* it can be easier said than done. My vacuum is a few years old and runs like it’s brand new so thank you, thank you, thank you!

GREAT, GREAT EXPLANATION. That was so well done. It is rare for a device such as that to be broken down, cleaned and reassembled with clarity. The accent didn't hurt.

I wish you were my neighbor! Thanks for the tutorial, especially showing how to put it back together. I think my Dyson is clogged because it's acting up after I vacuumed up some drywall dust. After stripping down and cleaning my v6 up to the cyclone assembly, I was not brave enough to tackle that without instructions. After watching your brilliant video, I'm now ready to dive in and strip it down to it's skeleton parts! Hopefully this will solve my problem, as after cleaning all the other parts, it still sucks up little more than the carpet fibres! I can't wait to come back and let you know just how well you solved it for me 🤞🤞🤞 (otherwise, it means taking out a mortgage for a new one!). I've had my v6 for at least 5 years, so if this is all it takes to renew it, then you deserve a gold medal, sir! 🥰 I'll be back...
