Wanted to thank you for your excellent video. It's inspired me to go back to my Trainz 12 installation and play with the narrow gauge content. I've downloaded this route and hope to have locomotives and rollings stock soon. I've been to the C&TS many times but not since 1996. This will route will bring back memories!
ive been having trouble with downloading narrow guage content onto my trainz ane game whats been happening is that when i go to manage content and click download it says theres an error with my login and i didint buy the game from the website i bought it from the app store on my mac(pc is broken got bored wanted to play train game with narrow guage content)the only way that has worked is finding the trainz from a website online such as "K&L TRAINZ" i need help can you tell me a website where i can download k/36 trainz onto trainz a new era also steam machine hasent worked
Thank you for your help! In testing I discovered that prowler set the direct drive to the trailing truck. The small wheel size gives it the correct chuff. The driver being larger is not accurate. Interesting way he set it up but now it works! Thank you for your help. Hopefully this info will help others aswell!
That bell sound on 482 was pretty off. The whistle didn’t seem super high quality either. I have a very good whistle with a high quality whistle and good bell clip recorded from 482. If you want it let me know. If not, that’s also fine
So I used Trainz kuid index to find the missing kuids and it doesn’t work. Just just shows the site where I got them from but not actually what dependencies are missing. Where do I get all of the missing KU IDs?
Couple questions: the route, is it available somewhere or is it a personal route? The rolling stock: how in the actual hell did you manage to get Prowler's NG equipment working??
the route is from here: trainzrouteworkz.weebly.com/ Now for the rolling stock, you have to view the errors, then go into the config and delete what ever the errors are. Then submit edits

@@Mas4449 do you know which version of steam engine 2 cylinder Stevenson sound used for the k28 engines I want to make sure I use the right one because I have two different versions on my game is it the one that the general and the Texas use?
I pretty sure the water towers are either on the DLS or Prowler's website. As for the enginesounds, I have no idea which one it could be, just try them both and see which one you like the best.

Gabriel Utz thanks! That whistle is one I made but I believe there are many whistles out there that use that same recording. They’re probably on the DLS
Gabriel Utz so all you have to do is place down your loco, find the "?" icon at the bottom right of the train tab. Click the question mark and then click your chosen locomotive. You may need to scroll down a little bit, but from there just load the snowplow as if it were a hopper or something. It will be under k-36 plow or something like that. Oh and make sure you unload the regular pilot. This will also work for the k-28s and I think a few of the k-27s. Hope this helps!
@@uraniumistasty32 I would recommend against this since you'd be loosing out on the custom cab for the k-36. It would be best to just fix the original.
Hello! I've got all of prowlers content working and replaced the enginesound but it doesn't sync with the drivers. I tried fixing this with direct-drive 1 and 0 but they were non existent and to slow. What do I do? Should I leave it with direct-drive but no number or should I get rid of direct drive from the drivers?

Where did you get the rolling stock and engines for this route? And I see that you've modified some of the engines from what they were (with the replacement of the steam script and other things).

SnakyFace Gaming yup, I replaced the old outdated steam to K&L’s steam. Now how I did it is another question. It would be way to hard for me to explain it in a comment but one day I’ll make a video on how to do it. You can probably find it on the Trainz wiki or contacting someone who knows how.
I really would but, one day I was modifying them and when I looked in the config, at the very bottom it says that you are not able to resend them without permission. I would feel kind of bad if I did because Prowler is no longer with us. But I would like to help you get yours as close to mine as possible.
You did a pretty good job. We all know the line is still used today. It's now used by the Cumbres & Toltec.

All I did was change the enginesound to this one: "Steam Soundz: Modern Large NA Steam, Version 2" It's on the DLS.

I think there’s a few tutorials on RUclips but once you have a basic understanding of the error system and how to fix errors it’s not hard

keep the direct drive on the drivers, I think what you have to do is get rid of the direct drive for the pilot and rear bogeys
