15:43 dude that whistle its amazing! Its a Reading 6 chime? Also, May i ask from which video its the origin of it? Looks fantastic, bro! Nice work on your whistles.
Thanks! The whistle is a custom built 6 chime made by Robert Swanson, the head at Nathan Airchime. I don’t have the video saved, I don’t remember where it was from.
@@jdgfilms9595Hey budy, i already find the original audio. It comes from Reading #2101 during Chessie, and it comes from a K5LA Whistle (custom 5 chime whistle).
I'd prefer to keep my whistle methods private and as for kitbashing, a lot of it is trial and error. I learned all by myself trying out things till they worked. Kitbashing can mean a lot of things, its quite a bit to explain in a video and I just don't really have that type of time do it.
@@advancedapproach All custom whistles are mine, except for one. A majority of them are old, some of them newer as I have new technique on making them.
The whistles are very nice, very nice work, But i can't make 3 part echo, do you think you know a video tutorial or could you tell me your method? By the way, could you give me your custom Reading 6 chime 2008 whistle from 5 years ago on the k&l Trainz version of the R&N 425.
That SP-2 Semi daylight, that’s a fucking chefs kiss right there, awesome job
Thanks! It was a pain to skin
@@jdgfilms9595 I imagine, I’ve been looking for the SP-2 for quite a bit, but I’m not going to beg
Gotta love the WP 2-6-6-2 and the whistle on 179

@@jdgfilms9595i think he meant the KUID lmao
Awesome!
Nice! glad to see my C&O J-2 and T-1 made it in. Otherwise, very good!
Yes sirrr
Think we might be able to finish the T-1 and I can make a scene or model for them? Maybe even the J-2
Was that western pacific mountain from Open Rails?
Wait a minute, the Milwaukee Road's Class A 4-4-2 steam locomotives didn't have whistles, they only had air horns.
I am very aware of that, it was something I just added to it for something I am working on.
can you show us how you make your whistles and kitbashes

i just gotta know m8, where was the origin of 4449's 6 chime
Just tell me where you got the whistles and I'll go buy or download them myself. Definitely want those in my stable.

@@jdgfilms9595 You're welcome, I understand !
I know this is probably a really stupid question, but what ever happened to the Beale Division route?
I still have it, I haven’t touched in over 2 years. It would be a nice thing to return to and bring it up to my current standards.
