When my nephew was Cade’s age, my sister and I took him to see Santa. We dressed him in a cute holiday suit. As we arrived, he had a diaper blow-out with poop that squeezed out of the collar of the slightly too small onesie. What a dismal failure but a lasting memory that we never let him forget. He is now 52.
If you can close the vents to your heater upstairs and leave them open downstairs. This will allow the heat blow into the downstairs and rise upstairs to the thermostat. In the summer you can reverse it and close the downstairs vents but leave the upstairs open. It's a more efficient way to heat and cool a multistory home
I’m a mold expert and actually closing HVAC vents can lead to condensation building up on the metal of the closed vent which then leads to mold growth in HVACs which is unfortunately very common and problematic.
I have always closed upstairs vents, as heat rises. By the time we went up it was toasty. I didn't know about the condensation build up. (👆 comment) I'm glad I reopened those vents.

So funny in high school circa 1985, in my class was a boy who look just like him with the blond front curl and I called him the dentist all the time 🤣we were friends.. it was so funny, I would pick on him and say ‘you look just like the dentist in Rudolph the red nose reindeer Christmas show’ 🤣🤣🤣 good times
I am older and did not grown up with all of this information at your fingertips. By no means am I complaining, I went through this struggle with my baby I loved my job but was so torn up inside. It was hard but I married a great man! We talked about me staying home or going to part time. But I really loved my job. When I had my second baby we talk about me staying home again. So I went to part time for a little bit Then I just stayed home with me my second baby. I am grateful for that but now that they are all grown and left the home. It’s a struggle again sometimes I think about going back. I just think this is good for moms who are struggling with this to see others. Everyone’s situation is different but still, it could help people make the right choice for themselves.. so thank you for sharing the personal experience with everyone. God Bless you and your family!

So good you are recognizing and working through that life will evolve. Just when you figure babies.schedule out, he will change. Learning to roll with it and know your expectations will have to adapt is huge with kids. I was still a list maker, just the list sometimes rolls over to later.
You can close some of the vents upstairs so the temp matches downstairs. I typically close vents to rooms I am not in often to even my homes temps. I have three floors an the basement is nice and toasty, but those vents are closed all winter.

I really like the idea that Santa looks different to everyone and more like them. My mum liked the more Traditional Fathers Christmas with the long robes in greens etc but also the popular modern version created by Coca Cola. One year my sister explained to my nephew about all the traditions and history behind Father Christmas/St Nicholas/Santa Claus etc and shortly after her in laws held an intervention saying they didn’t like the things she was teaching her children. She was very confused until they told her that my nephew said his mum told him Santa Claus was God. 😮 She had a good giggle about it after reassuring them he had just got the information a little muddled. 😂

That's why mom's should never get into comparing one child's progress to another as well. We all grow, learn and experience things at certain rates. No one should ever compare.

Thank you! I've been saying that for a long time now. Everyone's pregnancy, delivery, and baby-rearing years are all so different! You cannot judge one experience against the other. That's why mom's should never get into comparing one child's progress to another as well. We all grow, learn and experience things at certain rates. No one should ever compare.
