The ai marries a ruler to some random mongol courtier and the next time you look half of europe is eating horses and worshipping the skies . Granted , it happened much more in ck2 .

Im a little late to say anything but i just wanted to say its actually the opposite of that, eth (ð) is pronounced like the th in math, and thorn (þ) is prounounced like the and those. An easy way to remember how each one sounds is to prounounce them the same way you would prounounce thier name. Also eth (ð) is never used at the start of a word.

just some input from an audio engineer, you should really reference the sound levels of your video to other channels before uploading. Your audio levels are generally extremely low compared to other content creators. I had to turn up my sound almost 50% to reach the same levels on your videos. Great content otherwise :)
Im sitting on it for the moment, it was on a previous update and some of the cool stuff (like abducting to force convert) is nerfed and matrilineal in general is kinda crap since female character AI always marries non matrilineally, so your dynasty dies off super fast. I didn't add it into the video (forgot the file) but the split happened in 950ish and I was able to retain Norse! This is because I controlled all of Scandinavia in my top realm - you need 80% of norse cultured provinces to stay Norse into the 1000s
