A beautiful and heartfelt tribute by Big Tom's neighbour and friend, Jim O'Neill from Oram, eloquently capturing the emotion of the day and the passing of the greatest country legend of them all. You spoke on behalf of us all and with a sincere heart and a wonderful sense of place. Well done, Jim.

Kudos for the Video! Apologies for chiming in, I would appreciate your thoughts. Have you thought about - Schallingora Publicity Extracting Scheme (should be on google have a look)? It is a good exclusive guide for learniing amazing eulogy speeches without the hard work. Ive heard some interesting things about it and my mate at very last got cool success with it.

My Mam & Dad are from Clones,Co Monaghan...they came over to England to find work in the late 1950s... My Dad bought Big Toms first album...very proud of the fact he was a Monaghan man...and every album released after that.... hence I grew up listening to those albums since I was a young boy...learning all the lyrics...loving the stories each song told. I'm 50 now, with a 5 yr old daughter...and I still listen to those songs every single week...though not by playing the albums...but through the wonders of RUclips.... hopefully I will pass these songs onto my daughter, and she will one day cherish the memories of me,as I do of my Dad. I know my Dad will be smiling up in heaven now....having the craic with Big Tom...singing Back to Castleblaney, Cottage on the borderline, Take me back home, Isle of Innisfree. God Bless them....My 2 Heroes. X
