Rex Carroll is one of the best guitarist I have ever heard he is very underrated guitarist he is one of the best I've ever heard he is a master on that guitar
Underrated guitar player. Winning souls matter not winning fans. Whitecross and Rex are the ones that have brought many lives of the young back to good. Respect as always!
Wow, 4:13 Rex plays Jean Sibelius´ Finlandia Hymn. Greetings from Finland :) He probably knows it by some other name, but that´s what it is originally!
Brother Rex, you seriously are the best! I have always been impressed by your talents and style and range and professionalism; you are the best rock guitarist in my humble opinion! My mainstays are and have always have been robin trower and stevie ray vaughn and Rex "the incredible" Carroll... Sorry about your hair. Mine's gone the same, too!
Rex,one of my big christian guitar heroes of my youth. Almost not recognizable anymore, except for his playing style. Now bald, playing an Anderson after Vandenberg, Stratocaster and many others. Nice to see him still active.
This guy can single handedly put any metal shredder into uncomfortable position. The only thing is his gospel genre make exposure and fan base limit or else he is one of neo classical pioneer...
Rex, do you know the guys in Stryper? If so, please do a collab with Michael. I think your guitar writing and his vocals... Or A combo writing the guitar parts with the two switching off on lead.. Either one would be heavenly!
He did a few albums some years back with a member or two of Stryper. I had the first album, the name of the group was King James. Great music, good writing, great message!
May I use this footage in future videos? I would like the highest quality uncut footage of Rex Carroll and any other members of Whitecross that you may have stashed away. I would like permission to modify and repost your footage and will gladly credit you as videographer if you agree. Thank you, hopefully, in advance! ♫♪s♪♫
I did take this footage, and I may have more backed up that I have not posted. Feel free to use or modify the footage and credit me John Flach. If you would like more footage, I can check my archives. Find me on Facebook facebook.com/rflach5
It' s really is a hymn- hymn of Finland. Its very national romantic melody composed by Jean Sibelius in 1900 , in time when Finland was not yet independent country, but lived and suffered under russian depression. Finland 100 year 2017!!
the most underrated guitarist in the world!!!
Georgios Marcou can’t agree more.. he’s been my guitar hero from my childhood.. I’m 28 now
The best I've ever heard and I'm 59. :)
Someone request reaction videos.
Amen.
This man can absolutely play guitar. I seen Whitecross live years ago. He's without a doubt one of the best in the world. In my opinion.
No doubt.... The best Gospel Metal guitarrist player ever....

Rex is just awesome.
I remember seeing Whitecross in the late 80’s
Glad to see they’re still playing and making music.
I believe the Hymn is "Be Still My Soul". What a great guitarist. I like that he is wearing a cross.
that guitar not only looks good but man does it sound badass when he does those sweep runs

Underrated is an understatement.
I discovered him in 1984 when I bought the album fierce heart

Easily a top 10 guitarist. I'd put him up against Malmsteen, Blackmore, Vandenburg, Oz Fox, EVH, CJ Gimmark......etc.
id like him and his current band to come to Australia one day
I reckon Rex would be here in a moment if it was possible! Top bloke!
Top demais, nosso eterno whitecross
Almost went to this concert, man... missed opportunity!
Years and years of practice
Rex, the best player 🇵🇹😉😀
Who in their mind would give this a thumbs down? Probably some bad player still stuggling with the riff for Smoke on the water lol
I know... why? 😳😬😝
Could it be 👿👿👹👹
Sensacional os solos do Rex
Reminds me of Jason Becker quite a bit, truly gifted from God
Fera lenda

whats the old hymnal song played at the end?
It' s really is a hymn- hymn of Finland. Its very national romantic melody composed by Jean Sibelius in 1900 , in time when Finland was not yet independent country, but lived and suffered under russian depression. Finland 100 year 2017!!
Be Still My Soul
Finlandia!
Was this a King James, Rex Carroll Band, or White Cross concert?
I would say it must have been WhiteCross, look at the microphone stand :)
Crazy, but all three bands played. Just change the lead vox from Rex to Jimi to Scotty. All three bands are awesome.
How can he play like that, he doesnt have any hair?
Lol! 🤘😎👍
I compare his style to Yngwie Malmsteen.
Is that really Rex? Looks kinda young to be him.
fishka stika yes
Aren't humans suppose to have only 5 fingers on each hand? I thought I saw 6 fingers on Rex's left hand 😂
No do it without looking at your hands.
Do you realize who you are talking about?
He's trying to be humble, you'd hate him if he did.
Too bad he wasted this talent with such a terrible band like White Cross.
