Legendary hard rockers Night Ranger are set to release their 12th studio album, "ATBPO” on August 6, 2021 via Frontiers Music Srl. "ATBPO" stands for And The Band Played On, an ode to making music during the covid era. It will be available on CD and Vinyl (several limited edition, color vinyl versions), as well as digitally across all streaming platforms.
The band began writing the album in early 2020, amid the onset of the global pandemic. After narrowing down the song selection and tightening them up to their well-known rock ‘n roll sound, the band hit the studio, although separately, due to the times we are in. Throughout "ATBPO", we hear Night Ranger continuing their hot streak that kicked off with 2011's "Somewhere In California". Ten years on, and two highly acclaimed albums later, "High Road" and "Don't Let Up", the band's latest studio work shows them still burning with that high octane hard rock energy they are known for. Night Ranger has always had a knack for killer melodies, intricate instrumentation, and captivating lyrics; "ATBPO" delivers all of that and more.
Having sold over 17 million albums worldwide, performed across more than 4000 stages, and enjoyed a radio audience that exceeds 1 billion, Night Ranger has both epitomized and transcended the arena rock sound and style well beyond that era. With multiple songs having a significant impact on popular culture, Night Ranger continues to grow their fanbase. The band is proof that powerful songs alongside incredibly talented musicians is the perfect formula for continued success.
Night Ranger is Jack Blades (bass, vocals), Kelly Keagy (drums, vocals), Brad Gillis (lead & rhythm guitars), Eric Levy (keyboards), and Keri Kelli (lead & rhythm guitars).

J A FredRico sorry, but bands you are talking about had changed a lot over the years, and they are not even close as good as they used to be. Their music lost its soul, it's not as fun and awesome as it was in the 70's and 80's (I'm talking about NR, Accept, Scorpions, Saxon). On the other hand we have AC/DC. They released new album 7 months ago and if I didn't know it I could say it's an album from the 80's or 90's. They save rock and roll again.
Brad Gillis is probably top-3 most underrated guitarists of his generation.
Underrated by whom?? Anyone that ever heard him play knows he fucking slays it!!
He's great, but guys like John Sykes, Kee Marcello, George Lynch or Nuno Bettencourt play on a much higher level in my opinion

Not sure if I am the only one. Night Ranger doesn't normally give me goosebumps when listening to. BUT.... this tune did just that. This ROCKS!!! I can hear a little Progressive Metal in there.

@@fenwick_don Never saw Guthrie using it. He uses non locking tremolo bridges, Fender style ( at least on his Charvel )
I've been blasting Robin McAuley's latest album ( Black Swan is great, too! ) in the car with the windows down and the moonroof open, feeling like young man/kid, again. This album will do the same, I'm sure.

Fantastic to see that this band STILL retain their vitality & energy! Discovered them a bit late, bought "dawn patrol" as a cutout for 99¢ in a record store in Halifax, Canada, in the mid-80's. They were on constant rotation on "Q104 - the Rock Of The Atlantic" radio. Only saw 'em live at SRF a while back, & with the additional bonus of Joel Hoekstra on guitar. Absolutely fabulous!

My first concert was Night Ranger opening for Kiss in 1983 Creatures of the night tour. They still rock today. Great song.

Just saw them play in Wisconsin last Saturday, and I was extremely impressed with the entire band. What a great high energy performance. Can't wait to see them again. This song is great also. My newest favorite rock band.

Also wanted to express condolences to Keri over the loss of his father. It's bittersweet that an exciting time for the band is a sad time for him, and my thoughts and prayers are with him.
Yes I feel for Keri in the loss of his father especially during a time where I know his dad would have been excited that they had new music coming out.
